Since WHEN are Soap Operas CONCERNED about REALISM? |
Thursday February 28 01:23:40 2008 gh scene |
i don't see what everybody is bitching about. kelly monaco is absolutely gorgeous and we're even lucky to have her gagged in the first place, yet all anybody seems concerned about is if the tape was touching her lips. come on, do you not have anything better to talk about. the writers and directors for these shows aren't here to please us guys who like to see this stuff, they're out there to provide entertainment to millions of viewers. most, if not all of those viewers watch the scene and don't think about a thing but the storyline that's going on, and maybe "Diego has Sam tied up and gagged." I guarentee you the last thing on anybody's mind is how tight the tape is. it's a soap opera, deal with it. so everyone quit complaining about how tight the tape was and just enjoy it as who knows when or if we'll ever see Kelly Monaco get the treatment again. She's hot, nuff said. |
Thursday February 28 01:24:50 2008 "Rock Monster" |
22 March, 9 PM, SciFi Channel. Mark your calendars. I've already posted an alert: This is a new original "movie" about a guy who pulls a sword from a rock and unleases a monster and... at some point, for some reason which no doubt made sense to somebody at the time, a damsel (*probably* Natalie Denise Sperl) gets bound and gagged. I can hardly wait... A rock monster?? Seriously?? Someday, the economies of the Balkan countries are going to recover, or the European Union will pass a no-more-crap-movies law. *Then* what will the SciFi channel do for original movies? |

My goodness, Monaco is awesome in this scene. Her eye shifting and mmmppfffing have been terrific. I've never cared about how well someone is gagged, as long as they are gagged (except stuff gags). I'm not complaining about any scene with her bound and gagged for 2, 3 or 4 episodes. |

I like various types of gags (over-the-mouth, cleave, tape) as long as they are THICK and TIGHT. There should be no gaps between the gag and the mouth. It should be sealed tight. |

In one of my above posts I was responding individually to each point that the unsigned poster was making. When I tried to post the message, it said that I was unable to because my message was posted in the "annoying top down style". That's not true. The software must have noticed certain responses above quoted material and interpreted it that way. Therefore, I had to change each > into -- in order to get it to post. Sometimes this happens and sometimes it doesn't. I am bringing it to your attention so that the problem can get fixed. |

Thursday February 28 06:01:49 2008 Bondage from unusual places |
I'm not trying to push religion upon anybody but here are two myspace pages that are of interest to us. They are similar to the "cencorship" ads from a year or so ago. They are Christian organisations opposed to abortion and ministering to those in "spiritual bondage". Maybe you don't agree with the message but I think all of you will appreciate their images. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=158047425 http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=48381211 |

The preview for the episode showed her bound and gagged in the trunk of a car. |

Thursday February 28 09:59:35 2008 Re: gh scene |
I thought this was a forum to discuss mainstream scenes. Part of discussion is having differing opinions. Some people can ignore the bad bondage and gag and enjoy a hot woman who can act in bondage. Some people (myself included) feel that the scene would be better with realistic bondage and gag and if Kristen Storms had just OPENED THE DOOR! I am just happy to see bondage on soaps again. Between the hot chicks and outlandish storylines soaps should be a great source of scenes. Man, I can't wait to get my bondage business started. |

MAV wrote: > non-haters enjoy What's to hate here? Just some taunting, at least in the oicture shown. I do "hate" blood and torture; I don't know why anyone would have to apologize for that. The thing is, lots of people in the "real world" think that bondage lovers automatically love sadism and torture, and torture porn cements that opinion. From what little I know of this movie, the heroine will get free by herself and then kick tons of ass, so I don't think the movie - to me - will be as objectionable as other genres. Or to try to phrase it better, the movie will be about a heroine overcoming a lot of obstacles, not about her being a victim. Just my opinion/philosophy. I hope that doesn't make me a hater, but if it does, well the world spins on. |

Thursday February 28 14:55:37 2008 Kelly on GH |
It's possible that the villain WANTED her to get loose from the chair on Wednesday. He taunted her after she came back out of the airshaft that he had known a victim might try to escape that way and had prepared for the possibility - the usual gloating of the criminal who has to show his superiority. Personally it always turns me on when the woman seems to escape or almost escapes and then is put back into bondage. Too bad they didn't show him actually taping up her wrists, but I'm not gonna hate. ;) After all, that's why we have commercial bondage stuff. |

In the room where Kelly Monaco was tied to a chair, a bottle of chloroform was shown on the table right before Kelly was shown waking up, implying that she had been chloroformed before being brought there. However, we did not actually see her get chloroformed. In the preview for today's episode, she was shown bound, tapegagged, and unconscious in a car trunk. |

She was tied to a chair (wrists tied to chair arms) without a gag. She got loose from the ropes, tried to escape, got recaptured, and then the killer started to bind her hands behind her back. However, the preview at the end (for Thursday's episode) showed Kelly Monaco bound, tapegagged, and unconscious in the trunk of a car. |

Only watched bits and pieces (SoapNet has spoiled me). Monaco was not shown until unconscious in the trunk midway through the episode. We only see her again in the final minutes where she awakens and starts to struggle a bit while Elizabeth has one hand handcuffed in the back seat. She was knocked out but I didn't see how. Elizabeth comes too and forces a car wreck. Preview showed Monaco B&G in the trunk on Friday. As for Kelly today, love those roped black boots!! |
Thursday February 28 16:34:21 2008 General Hospital -- Thur Feb 28 |
In today's episode, "Elizabeth" (Rebecca Herbst) is handgagged by the text-message killer and dragged into a room. Later we see him picking up a bottle of chloroform. Later, he closes the car trunk door on a bound, tapegagged, and unconscious (she had obviously been chloroformed off-screen) "Sam" (Kelly Monaco) and we see Elizabeth unconscious (she had obviously been chloroformed off-screen also) with her left hand handcuffed above her in the car. They take off in the car. Both women wake up. Elizabeth rips the killer's ski-mask off, then she attacks him with her free hand. The killer loses control of the car and it crashes into the side of a bridge. The killer's head hits the windshield, either knocking him unconscious or killing him. At the end of the episode, the car is balancing half off the bridge. The preview for tomorrow's episode shows them in the same situation. |

It's almost amusing how people continuously bait critics of 'bad bondage' in this forum with the obvious statement then expect them to shut up when it only causes the ridiculous argument to continue ad naseum. Let them bitch and get it over with. I'm with you, but let's not just be thankful that Kelly Monaco is in some kind of bondage at every opportunity but also that Tapemaster is not a moderator of this site. |

"Haters" is my subtle shot at the gag-snob majority who disregard scenes like Doomsday in favor of the General Hospital stuff for example. I guess we gag snobs and non-gag snobs like me should be happy there are a lot of scenes happening for everyone nowadays |

She is not gagged at all during Wednesday's episode, but spends the entirety of Thursday's episode bound and gagged in the trunk of a car. There are several briefs glimpses of her bound and gagged and unconscious. She is beginning to regain consciousness at the end of the episode as the vehicle is precariously balanced on the side of a bridge. |

Thursday February 28 20:50:26 2008 Re: General Hospital (tape gag) |
I have acted in plays through high school & now in college. I have acted as a damsel in distress & been tape gagged in quote "the real way". The tape is uncomfortable & chaps lips. All I had to do is ask the director if there was a different way to be gagged. He suggested the tape-on-tape method where another piece of tape is place sticky side down on the other with only the ends sticky. It gives the illusion of being gagged without really being gagged. |

Another method of alleviating the discomfort concomitant with peeling duct tape off a damsel's lips is to first gag her with a strip of sports tape, which is designed for comfortable application on the skin. It peels off the damsel's mouth with minimal discomfort. One or two strips of sports tape covered by three or more strips of duct tape makes for a very effective and realistic gag, and can be removed from the damsel's mouth quickly, with negligible discomfort. Have you ever been gagged in this manner, Cute College Girl? Why don't you propose this method to the directors of future productions in which you will be gagged? By the way, could you please tell us the titles of the plays in which you have been bound and gagged? |

Another actress told me she used to put the duct tape on her jeans a few times and peel it off so it loses some of its stickiness. Then it sticks enough to look real but doesn't hurt nearly as much coming off. |
