Believe the blond is Laurie Fortier > ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0287266/ ) > looks like a keeper Great find! Just scanned from a DL DivX file, in last 10 minutes or so, cute damsel (Laurie Fortier), is strapped hands and feet to a chair and gagged with silver duct tape. Armand Assante is psycho mall security guard who is holding her captive. Good guy sees on video, comes to her rescue. Girl is moved from original location in middle of the mall to another room still strapped and gagged. Good guy walks in and is about to free her. Nice closeups as she tries to warn him as Armand attacks him from behind. They fight for a minute, a few shots of her struggling to escape, before she gets her hands free and rips the tape from her mouth. She played the super cute friend of Claire Danes in the movie "To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday". Glad to see she's still around and looking hot. |

You might be talking about a game show called "TV0" that would have aired around 2000 or so. One of the host's names was Gaby Ruffo. Had lots of girls in shorts and go-go or drum majorette boots dancing around for no particular reason. I'll post a youtube link in the video section - no one tied in this clip, but it may confirm the show ID: I DO recall one bizarre episode where the cheerleaders in the background had their hands attached to ropes like they were marionettes. And while we're on the subject of Holy Grails, anyone remember "Fun House" which in one episode had the twin cheerleaders kidnapped and briefly tied back to back? |

Monday January 21 11:40:04 2008 Mexican Game Show with Cheerleaders |
I hope the leads that you have received will enable someone to find this scene. It is more difficult than you would think sometimes to find information on scenes from Mexico. In fact, I saw La Madrastra in Mexico about 6 weeks before it aired in the US (2005). I just caught a glimpse of the end so I didn’t know the name of the actress or the show. I described the scene in detail but no one knew anything and no one from Mexico could help. The scene turned out to be the one where Ana Layevska was tied to a pole and cleave gagged in a burning building at the end of La Madrastra. It was strange because the series seemed to come to an end when it aired in the US but then they showed about a weeks worth of additional episodes and we got the scene. I hope someone can locate the scene you have described. Eight beautiful cheerleaders cleave gagged would be great. |

...or as a chair-tied Brenda Starr implored of her female captor in the April 25, 2001 installment of her strip: "Couldn't you have detained me in a more original way?" To which Madame Baddie sneered in reply, "A certain predictability is comforting to the audience, Brenda dear." First off, I hope those of you in the USA lucky enough to be off work today are enjoying the holiday-while remembering, of course, what it's all about. And secondly, thanks to our diligent friend The Engineer for not doing some sneering of his own-which yours truly will admit would have been well-deserved-upon catching the logical inconsistency in my response to the library-dependent poster looking to get registered for the database. Indeed, if he can only get online at a public library and he's able to post here...I guess there was no real need to add a big "DUH!" to that, was there? Okay, on to why I'm really here. A week or two back, I made one of my periodic forays to the Internet Archive and grabbed the 1950 version of the movie "Prehistoric Women," which I mentioned might have something of interest to us based on something I'd read or heard elsewhere. Sorry to say, whatever that something was has proven to be a bum steer. The only tieups in the film are of the type that back in the old Usenet days would be designated as "F/m" (does that jog some of your memories, or what?). Maybe whatever I read way back when was so designated, and I just missed it. What's worse, the movie wasn't all that great, either. And while I'm on the subject, I kind of misspoke when I said I'd seen the 1966 film with the same title, because there ISN'T any such film from that year. It was released the following year and I HAVEN'T seen it. The movie I confused it with-one that I HAVE seen and can vouch for there being no scenes in-is "One Million Years B.C." which was also a remake of an earlier movie with a similar title that didn't have anyting in it either. Anyway, does anyone know about the '67 "Prehistoric Women" with regard to scenes? I seem to recall its being advertised in the manner that would come to be associated with exploitation "drive-in" movies in later years, and we know how THEY'VE helped fatten the database, don't we? Hope, therefore, springs eternal. |

Over at http://www.movietome.com, there’s a new trailer for Untraceable. Diane Lane’s character’s car breaks down on a bridge, her cell phone doesn’t work. After she returns to the car after using an emergency call phone, a hooded figure (?) sits up in the back seat. There’s bright flash (stun gun?), then the trailer ends. http://www.movietome.com/movie/363695/untraceable/videos/index.html?tag=fs_nav;videos&om_act=convert&om_clk=fstabs It’s the Untraceable - On the Braodway Bridge Clip. I’m not sure if it’s the same as the next TV spot clip. |

Nice find but on principle (as opposed to paranoia) I have a problem with providing personal info (name & DOB) to an unfamiliar site (the small print states giving authorization to check your info with public records). It's incredibly ineffective anyway: What's to stop a minor from getting a parent or older siblings' wallet? Checked youtube for the trailer but the only redband one I found didn't include the scene featured in the caps. |

If everything pops this year. With Sarah Michelle Geller,Lucy Liu, Naomi Watts, Charleze Theron, and maybe, Diane Lane, will this be the biggist Movie full treatment release ever, or will it just be close. |

Unlike the candyasses in the film (where do they find these guys??), doubt that Diane will get the treatment since she'll be a kickass heroine |

There are just a few seconds worth of shots of her in shibari with the hero pasted next to her and that happens in fast forward mode too. BTW - she is one of the females in the next Bond movie !! Remember Moonraker and one of the ladies starring in it - who at around the same time - also led in another movie called "The Story of O"???? |

What is supposed to be up & coming for Charleze Theron? Haven't heard anything on this. Also, I forgot, what movie is Lucy Liu having a B & G scene in? I remember seeing a pic for it but forgot the title! |
Monday January 21 20:53:43 2008 The soaps |
Has anyone been following Days of our Lives? I just read a re-cap of last weeks' episodes in the TV guide portion of our newspaper & it mentions that "Belle" and "Claire" have been abducted. Belle is found in a river (alive, I guess) but the other one, Claire, is still with the kidnapper. I've not heard any talk about DOOL recently so this surprised me. I do not know who the ladies are or anything as I don't watch the show regularly but the first line was "Belle and Claire were abducted by _____" (I forget the kidnapper's name!) Anyone know anything? |

Monday January 21 22:56:16 2008 Diane Lane In Untraceable!!! |
Correct me if Im wrong..but im pretty sure I just saw a new TV spot for Untraceable..in what looks like a bound and gagged Diane Lane being dragged on the floor.(Camera was an overhead shot of face and upper body) Hard to confirm cause it was behind a review for the film...but Im 98 percent sure it was Lane...and 98 percent sure she was gagged. Saw it on NBC during Medium..10:50pm est or so... |
Monday January 21 22:58:50 2008 Re: The soaps |
Nope, nothing happened with that storyline on DOOL last week. As a matter of fact, they had so many potential DID opportunities, and yet, almost nothing happened in the past few months, which is very disappointing. I'm particularly thinking about the serial rapist storyline that went on in which they had possibilities almost to the infinity with one DID and they blew it big time. That's what is the saddest part of all this because they have very young beautiful actresses in their cast. |

The scene in the promo popped at 10:37 and was the only scene in the episode. Believe me that was it,the plot is a little complicated to explain but that was all there was. |

Saw it on NBC during Medium..10:50pm est or so... Saw this as well and I definitely believe it's her. For others looking at the ad, the shot of the woman is underneath a movie review calling the movie "the Silence of the Lambs for the Internet Age..." I also think it's Lane because looking at a movie clip on the internet called "On the Broadway bridge" which seems to show her abduction (gets into car, man rises in back seat, flash like a stun gun), and it looks like Lane is wearing in that abduction scene, under her coat, the same top the gagged woman being dragged on the floor is wearing. |

I'm not so sure, the trailer at the official site shows tons of male scenes and that scene on the TV teaser is really hard to see; I would say it's not Diane Lane, the body and head shape look wrong, and it may not be a gag, it looks more like black cloth from a jacket pulled up around the shoulders. |

I see your point on the shadow from the copy..but pretty sure its a gag..and Lane to boot...but will never get confirmation from this spot..too hidden (damn words!!!)...guess well have to wait till Friday. |
