P2
Has anyone seen P2, a triller where Rachel Nichols was cuffed pretty much throughout the movie? Great acting there for Rachel with some good struggles.

Agent Spalko
A few more drops have drippled from the "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" publicity faucet. Annie Leibovitz will have an Indy Jones photo shoot in the Feb'08 issue of "Vanity Fair", and it includes out first look at Cate Blanchett as Soviet agent Spalko, who (apparently) will be the Big Bad Dominatrix Villainess of the movie!! [See URL below for photos & article.] Comrade Spalko has this Aeon Flux/Lulu/Valentina bob thing going and looks Evil-Hot!! {Sigh} We could have a new villainess icon on out hands, on a par with Willie's Mysterious Countess.

Remember, there's a rumor floating around that Indy's motivation for getting involved in the movie's Mcguffin-chase is to rescue Marion Ravenwood, who has gone and gotten herself kidnapped by the Dirty Rotten Commie Russkies; and that this will be made EXPLICITLY CLEAR in the trailer!! ...whenever they get around to posting the damn thing!!

And don't neglect to read the VF article. It's *very* interesting. They discuss that while the original (Raiders) was a 30's Pulp Serial, "Crystal Skull" will be a 50's SciFi Movie. It's set ~1957. I hope they have some MiG-15's and F-86 Sabre jets! :-D

Just uploaded the summary to brian's database. I think it's the sleeper of 2007. You guys should check this one out on DVD.

Title: P2
Medium: Movie
Actress: Rachel Nichols

Description: Rachel Nichols spend most of the time in this thriller handcuffed.

Angela (Nichols) realizes she is trapped in a locked parking lot by a stalker, who happens to be the night shift parking lot security guard. About half a hour in, Angela is chloroform from behind and wakes up with one of her legs chained to a chair.

When her captive decide release her chains and take her for a drive, Angela makes a dash to try to escape, but was taken down from the leg by her captive. Angela lays on the floor as her captive binds her hands behind her back with handcuffs. Her captive then drags her up and take her to the car, with some initial struggling by the actress.

Angela remains cuffed in the passenger's seat as she is taken for a ride. We get a couple of shots of her hands behind her back trying to escape her cuffs, but fails. She manages to open the door and runs off.

As she hides at another part of the parking lot, Angela manages to shift her cuffed hands under her legs and in front of herself.

Angela remains cuffed with her hands in front as she tries to avoid her captive throughout the movie. She manages to knock out her captive and takes the keys to finally unlock her cuffs towards the end of the movie.

Roughly estimated, Rachel Nichols is handcuffed about 50 minutes out of the 98 minutes movie. She was never gagged in the movie.

Nichols wears a white dress after she's chloroformed and she's bear feat throughout the movie after she escapes from the car.

Re: paperback scene

Thanks for the information on The Overlook I cannot wait to read it. I recently went to the bookstore and bought Karin Slaughter's Triptych and in the later chapters it features the female detective in a tight bondage situation. Do you know of any other new novels with bound and gagged DiD's in them Thanks for the info on The Overlook.

Don't forget the recent bondage in the shampoo add(forget the products name). Is this the first time in history that two commercials with bondage in them have run so close together? Seems in the past it was maybe one every three or fours apart. I hope this trend continues!

Women's Murder Club tonight
Think tonight's episode at 9 p.m. on ABC is new, which follows the last episode a few weeks ago about the killer who sewed Angie Harmon's lips shut on a photo in the final minutes.

That was a truly great written wrap up of 2007... took lots of work & research. Thanks for writing it

Anyway, tonight/tomorrow morning is a rare televising of one of the all-time great movie scenes... 1970's - Eaten Alive. See VCR Alerts Page.

Correction for High Crimes alert
This is the alert posted but the channel noted is wrong, it should be CBS not ABC:

Day: Saturday January 05 2008
Time: 8:00 PM EST
Channel: ABC
Title: High Crimes (2002)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Ashley Judd, Amanda Peet

Description: Around the 50' mark (with ads), there's a brief shot of Amanda Peet tapegagged during a home invasion. Scene lasts only a few seconds. I couldn't tell how she was tied (the intruder may have been disturbed before he had time to secure her).

About nine minutes from the end, the real killer ( I won't give away the twist) grabs Ashley Judd, firmly clamps his hand over her mouth, and drags her into the house. He then ties her arms behind her back and hogties her. The hogtie is not tight (her knees not bent much), more incidental as the same length of (telephone?) cord used to tie her wrists behind is also used for her ankles. She is able to roll off the couch where she was tied and across the floor towards a gun that was dropped during the final fight. She manages to work her hands free just in time to get the gun and save herself. The scene is dark and the cuts are quick. She's wearing a bathrobe and white socks.

Since the series is set in 1973, would it still have been appropriate then?

I'm sitting typing this and twirling my moustache hoping they'll do a silent movie pastiche like the one Aflac did. Nothing quite makes my day like seeing some cute damsel wrapped in rope on a railroad track!

Thanks for the heads-up! I've been looking for that one for a while. I will definitely be rolling tape for it.

Also, at 11:30 pm tonight, immediately prior to the Eaten Alive showing, it looks like they're showing the Witchblade anime premiere ep. I dunno if there's any bondage in the series, but it's Japanese so chances are good. And the Witchblade anime costume has some DEFINITE skimpiness going for it. Worth checking out if you like anime.

I didn't see every minute of every episode, but I'm pretty sure there was nothing of interest in this one. There were some promising situations but none of them panned out. Actually I do remember one scene where Juli Gilberti (not totally correct spelling, but close) spent a lot of time on a bed bound but not gagged. I'm afraid that's all doc.
