Saw a couple of quick shots of a tape gag and one of a ball gag.

How to rob a bank: any news?
Hi! Remember last year's excitement around «How to rob a bank», with lots of promising scenes for the leading actress (tapegagged)

Any news from this?

'South Texas Blues'-- Making of TCM
Independent filmmaker Christopher Garetano is trying to mount a film on the making of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, called "South Texas Blues." It sounds like it will alternate some fantasy "inside the mind of Tobe Hooper" stuff with re-creations of the filming. No word on casting (or much of anything else, actually) yet.

Just checked it on IMDB. Apparently it'll get a limited release on February 6. Might just be New York and LA, but if we're lucky it'll go a little wider than that.

Hey, the way the Laffs are playing, the Moderator will probably be in a great mood tomorrow night. Wait and see. Correct Zinger?

"Untraceable" is still not in the database. How many people actually saw it?

So is that the next trend in popular entertainment, making movies about the making of other movies? It's just "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", one of the most overrated films of all time. Even Marilyn Burns' bound-and-gagged scene is just average (her bound-and-gagged scene in "Eaten Alive" is much better). Aside from that, the only thing really interesting about the film is the fact that it is based on the case of real-life serial killer Ed Gein, who was also the inspiration for the novel "Psycho" by Robert Bloch which was made into a film by Alfred Hitchcock. How long is it going to be before we get a movie about the making of "Psycho"?: "This a black and white film, so I want to use chocolate syrup for the blood." "Ms. Leigh, this is a SHOWER scene, you need to be naked." "Ms. Miles, consider yourself fortunate that you are even in this film after you caused me considerable aggravation in re-casting the female lead in 'Vertigo' after you got pregnant."

Don't film makers have anything better to do these days? Why doesn't the director make an ORIGINAL movie with a QUALITY story (with, of course, a great bound-and-gagged scene)?

However, it would be worth it if they would have a detailed account of the making of Marilyn Burns' bound-and-gagged scene. Perhaps it went something like this:

Burns: "Do I HAVE to be gagged?"
Hooper: "Yes, Ms. Burns, you HAVE to be gagged."
Burns: "But I don't want to have a rag in my mouth."
Hooper: "Ms. Burns, it is in the script."
Burns: "Can't we change the script? I don't like the way it feels in my mouth. I'm an actress, I thought it was my job to say dialogue."
Hooper: "Wrong, Ms. Burns. As an actress, it is your job to TAKE DIRECTION and do what I tell you to do."
Burns: " You're not sticking that dirty rag in my mouth! You can just get yourself another MMMMMMPH!"
Hooper: "Ms. Burns you are not going to be untied until you get this scene right. Action!"

That should read: "This is a black and white film, so I want to use chocolate syrup for the blood." I didn't proofread as closely as I usually do.

Bert, thanks for the information. Those are great fakes. I wonder how long it will be before Keira Knightley gets gagged for real.

Let's tell a story
I have an idea. Let's write an original story with all of us contributing. Each person will continue the story from where the last person left off. It has to feature a woman (or women) bound and gagged. Who wants to go first?

Uh... It'll probably be Mr. Moderator, with something like...

It was a dark and stormy night. After enjoying a long, hot shower, Nikki Cox toweled off her firm, perfect body, changed into a skimpy, babydoll nightie of gossamer-thin, pink silk, climbed between the smooth, cool, satin sheets of her queen-size, four-poster bed, turned out the bedside lamp, and——DELETED/OFF-TOPIC!! FIFTY POINTS FROM GRYFFINDOR!! REPORT TO HAGRID'S SHACK FOR DETENTION!! :-D

For an on-topic idea, how about digging through all the free crap on AOL video (and I do mean crap, they have every awful, forgotten show, except, like, Partners in Crime and Dangerous Curves) and finding some scenes we don't know about?

I tried to get The Girl from UNCLE "The Martori Device" video to work the other day and I couldn't get the last chapter to load in the player. Can anyone else try it and let me know if it's just a problem on my end? Direct link to the video is in the homepage field. Thanks.

...being a a busy person, she realized she had an appointment at her office in three hours. She got out of bed, got dressed, and went to work.

rested her head on the soft pillow. She was still angry that she had been canned from "Las Vegas" due to budget cuts. She thought about the cast members that were still on the show, particularly one petite brunette. "I hate Vanessa Marcil!" she thought to herself as she drifted off to sleep.

BRRRRIIIIING! BRRRRIIIIING!

Nikki woke up to the sound of her phone "Who could it be at this hour?" she thought to herself. "Hello?"
"Nikki, it's me."
"Who?"
"Me, your agent!"
"You haven't called me in months."
"Yeah, I know. Look I got a job for you."
"Great! What's the role?"
"I'm not sure. It's a pilot for a new TV show. They need a female lead. It's perfect for you. There's just one thing, the audition is 2 hours from now."
"Tonight, are you serious? I'm in bed! Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
"I just heard about it. Do you want the job or not?"
"Yes, I want it. I AM an actress after all. What's the address?"

Nikki wrote down the address. She got dressed and walked out to her car. The audition was way out in Granada Hills, about as far out in the San Fernando Valley as you could get. She ran to her car so she wouldn't get too wet from the rain. What they say about Los Angeles is true. It doesn't rain much, but when it comes down it really pours. She didn't know how long it would take to get there from Hollywood in this weather. She turned the key and then slowly pushed down the accelerator with her sandaled foot. As she drove off, she started to think to herself how far her once promising career had fallen. "Last year I was a cast member of a popular, primetime network program. Now I'm doing an audition out in Granada Hills at 10:00 at night. I don't even know what this show is about!"
