The Avengers was one of the real cornerstones of my adolescent discovery of bondage and that I liked it, to say the least. Started really with The Adventures of Superman and Phyllis Coates. Noel Neill was nice and pretty, but she was like a friendly big sister. Phyllis Coates was a WOMAN, and to see her get tied up a couple of times really did something to me. I still remember a couple of thugs taking her to a plane, b&g, and one saying to the other,"Maybe you can get Miss Lane to play a little canasta with you." They both laughed nastily. I was only seven, but I knew they wouldn't play any card game with her. They would probably take off her clothes and... something. Of course I wanted Superman to save her; I just sort of wished he'd take his time. Later it was The Avengers, and Diana Rigg was always the only female Avenger for me. Loved seeing her fight and win, and loved seeing her lose and get tied up. Seems like the two should be mutually exclusive, but they aren't. Anyway, I won't ever say anything bad about other Avenger women, but for me it begins and ends on that show with Rigg. |

As much as I think the Rigg episodes were the stylistic peak of the series, the best bondage moments for me appear in the Thorson episodes : Look [Stop Me...] - where a stunning, thighbooted Tara is tied to a chair in the lotus position and gagged with a very thick white OTM. We first see her in this predicament via a close-up of just her face as she regains consciousness wearing this very tight, spotless detective gag - absolutely sexy moment, followed by some great shots of her desperately emoting. First saw this episode when I was 6 and the images haunted me for years! The other outstanding episode is 'Stay Tuned' which involves a hostage Tara freeing herself and turning the tables on her gorgeous captor, Kate O'Mara. After a furious catfight, Kate is tied to a chair and tightly cleavegagged but is a far from passive prisoner. She loudly emotes, despite the gag, and there are someoutstanding close-ups of her angry face. |

Actually from an announcement in Alt.Bondage on Usenet. Computers in those days were steam operated. |

Friday December 14 16:29:04 2007 For people with strong belief.... |
This has been discussed on this forum before that there is a movie in production based on the book "Killing Suki Flood". The book has several great B&G scenes for a pretty little blonde on her twenties. In the beginning of this year, the production said that french director Louis Pascal Couvelaire was hired to direct the movie. 2 weeks ago, I found on google that this guy has a website and a Email address... (he's a commercial director, that's the main reason for his website) He directed only 2 movies, Suki Flood would be the third one. So, I sent an Email with practically no hope. But, believe it or not, 2 days after, I received an answer !!! Waow, someone took time to read my message and answered it !! Here is what I wrote (in French, the guy is French, so am I, but his website is in English too, and "Suki Flood" too, so...) I began my message telling I was a big fan of both of his movies "Sueurs" and "Michel Vaillant" (even if I haven't seen them). Then I told him that I read on the web that apparently his next movie would be "Suki Flood", that I read the book (true) and loved it. But there was no news from the movie since about ten months and I wondered if this still was a movie in production? I told him finally that my very very little fan opinion on the only one actress who could fit in the "Suki Flood" role was Kristen Bell from "Veronica Mars" (YES, THAT IS MY DREAM !!!!!). I finished with all my best wishes of success for his career, etc... His answer was : 1. thanks for the interest. 2. the movie was always in production 3. he expected to make "Suki Flood" next year. That's all, absolutely no reference to the casting or my idea of Kristen Bell for the role... But now, think about it... Maybe this guy watched "Veronica Mars" or "Pulse", maybe he didn't. In that case, he has maybe no idea of who Kristen Bell is... But if, every 2 or 3 weeks, one of us send him a mail (naturally if you wish like me Kristen Bell for the role, and THAT is another story......) maybe her name will resonate in his mind, who knows?? maybe he will talk about it with the producers, or ask himself who she is and what is her filmography... And maybe there will be nothing of interest for us in the movie, but the B&G scenes in the book are long and take part of the story. So, in other terms, do you guys believe in miracles ??..... If anyone interested, his website is http://www.louiscouvelaire.com and his mail is louis@louiscouvelaire.com |

Wow...I must have missed that discussion, and am surprised by this news, since the book was never a commercial success as far as I know (and has been out of print for years). Nonetheless, it's got two of the most awesome bondage sequences I've ever read in a novel (despite the putzy presence of the hero in the second one). If this film actually does come together and does even an ounce of justice to those sequences, it will be an instant classic. I don't think I'm in for lobbying the director with respect to casting. I do agree with you that Kristen Bell would make an excellent Suki, though I'm not sure I can envision her agreeing to the full frontal nudity in those bondage scenes as written, and it might be nice to have some young hottie who was up for that rather than having that element removed. Well, okay, I suppose I could deal with Ms. Bell spreadeagled in her undies if I absolutely *had* to. ;) At any rate, thanks for this very interesting news. |

Friday December 14 23:32:31 2007 How did you find Brians Page? |
Don't really remember to be honest, but I'll never forget finding stuff like Brian's page. It was years ago. I've never come close to being a computer geek, so I arrived late to the internet. I never really found anything on the internet at that time that justified the cost of internet service and was considering opting out. Then one night (I can never remember what exactly led me to these sights0 I lucked onto one of the many sights in those glory that had loads of caps. Links led me to many different ones. Those around awhile remember those sites fondly like me. Origpooh, Steve's, Rob's, Grumpy's, Van's and others. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. I spent most of the night going from sight to sight and discovering scene in movies I never knew existed. Like a lot of people in those days my major source of scenes was BONDAGE LIFE'S Bound for Hollywood column. I actually became pissed at them when I realized how many fantastic scenes had not even been mentioned. Somehow various links led me to this site, which by itself justifies the existence of the Internet. |

Is it just me or does anyone else out there think that the TV season so far sucks. By my standards at least other than the Chuck scene and Gina from COUPLINGS scene in JEKYL, this has been one of the worst first half seasons in memory. |
