Re: DVD sets - Doris Day Babysits!

None of youse guys knew this? It's not in the data base! I can't believe none of us knew about this!

Somehow I stumbled onto a book about Doris Day on google books. It was discussing her tv show and began going over the various episodes. There is one called, The Babysitter, and is, for once, exactly what you'd hope it to be! According to the book, Doris babysits for a young neighbour couple whose kids are brats. The book says she gets a rubber arrow in the forehead, tied up with rope!, and put in a closet. The book says it's one of the best episode of the show.

Its from season 1 of the show and its available on Amazon. I can't believe I've never heard of this before. Has anyone ever laid eyes on this episode? Unlike the flawed I Love Lucy episode, The Amateur Hour, this one is given top ratings in every review I read.

I had no intention of getting any DVD sets this xmas but you better believe I'm putting this in my letter to Santa!

I got hold of DVDs of all the episodes through Ebay - blantantly recorded off tv, but I didn't care - scene after scene after scene.

I did come across this link to online episodes whilst I was looking for a recent photo of Ms Powers, though I it doesn't seem to be available to the UK yet.

And yes, Stefanie looks gorgeous; if only I'd been alive back then!

I just had to buy the second season of "The Lost World" with Jennifer O'Dell as the quintessential fabulous jungle babe. Wanted to have a backup to my tapes, which often get misplaced. I think this season, with "Trophies," "Into the Fire," and others was her best. But really all three seasons had very good moments.

How did you find Brian's page?
It's been so long now I forgot how I stumbled across this useful resource - certainly before the advent of Google. So I'm curious now - how are people finding this page in the huge landfill we call the "Internet"?

Girl at 5' mark in barn with hands over head. Each hand in a metal shackle. Still as 50' minutes to go.

West Coaster Time Alerts. To save time here are your times.

Between the times of 5' and 18', two girls in various scenes with either hands shackled over their heads, hand shackled to wall in dark dungeon, and one had a bag over head.

28' another girl is taken with as the guy puts bag over head.

32' second and third girl talking to each other but no restraints shown.

At approx 45' or 47', lady recalls a flashback as she is lead with a bag over her head.

At 50', rescuers find them in their "room". Not sure if restraints are shown.

No gags or blindfolds. Record as you see fit.

Maroon 5
I've posted a link on the video page to some backstage footage of the Maroon 5 video. Includes some alternative views of the non-gag scene, as well as some talking about it.

Someone mentioned it in a usenet group back in 97 or so.
