Off the top of my head, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Stargate, and especially Lexx have all delivered. On the movie front, "Dead Fire," "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," "Escape Velocity," and "Assault on Dome 4" all deserve a look. See Brian's DB and/or mine for more info.

This can't be true. It just can't be.

Long ago, my brother and I used to watch shows we knew a parent had taped. But we didn't ask them to do it.

Did you miss the part where it doesn't matter what any of us see or don't see? It's the mod's call. End of story.

She doesn't tape shows specifically for me. She tapes shows so she can watch them herself. However, if she notices that a show that she has taped has a bound-and-gagged scene, she will tell me and then hold on to the tape to give me the next time I see her.

Obviously it is the moderator's call. I have never disputed that. I was just giving my opinion about the topicality of that particular issue.

Posts are either on-topic or not. "Unproductive",
like "abusive" is a reason why they're off-topic.

Demonstrating that you missed the point of the either
message. It doesn't matter what YOU think.

Doctor Who has 31 hits in the DB.
Not all are set in outer space though.
Elisabeth Sladen with the most.
Louise Jameson with the best gagged scene.

Then you might as well not give any reason WHY a message or thread gets deleted.

> "Unproductive",
> like "abusive" is a reason why they're
> off-topic.

When a message is ON-topic, but abusive, you rule it as "abusive" and therefore it gets deleted. However, when a message is ON-topic, but "unproductive", you rule it as "off-topic" and therefore it gets deleted. Such a message should be ruled as being "unproductive". A message CAN be ON-topic and yet be "unproductive", just as a message CAN be ON-topic and still be "abusive".

> > I don't see anything "off-topic" OR
> > "unproductive" about discussing the [blah
> blah]

I completely get the point. Yes, it doesn't matter what I think. I don't make the rules and I don't enforce them. However, I can still voice my OPINION about your rulings. MOST of the time I agree with them, but there are some times when I don't. I think that you delete too many threads and messages for being "off-topic". Some of them ARE "on-topic", but you find them to be "unproductive". I can understand deleting messages for being "unproductive", I just wish that you would label them as such in order to avoid confusion. If you delete an "unproductive" thread as being "off-topic", then we don't know if that topic could have been dealt with in a "productive" manner. In addition, I feel that some of those "unproductive" threads and messages ARE "productive" and they should not be deleted.

"Off-topic", "unproductive", and "abusive" are all completely different things. For example: "wish lists" ARE on-topic because they deal with the issue of what actresses we would like to see in bondage. Actresses in bondage is the entire point of this website. However, "wish lists" could be seen as "unproductive" because most of us would like to see EVERY actress in bondage and posting such long lists could clog up the forum. My opinion on the matter is that "wish lists" should be allowed as long as they are kept short. If someone refers to someone else's wish list as being "stupid", then that message is "abusive" and should therefore be deleted.

> Feel it.
> Believe it.
> It only matters what I think.

Yes, I am well aware of that.

> I know, I know. What an
> arrogant ass!

No, I don't think of you as being arrogant. It is just that sometimes I disagree with your rulings.

> Perhaps. But that's the way it is.

Yes, it is.

Ive been doing a little research on this myself, even though as a Brit it doesn't directly affect me.

Assuming the strike drags on for a while (last one lasted 5 months i believe) then expect the soaps to grind to a halt sometime in December, Most primetime shows following in January 0r February at the latest

There will be an 8 episode run of Lost in February - half the proposed season - and 7 episodes of Jericho but that could be the entire new drama output for those 2 months.

Status on 24 is unconfirmed but some parties seem optimistic it may still air (could they already have a full season of scripts?)

with reference to Chuck apparantly the producers are holding fire on a full season commision until after the strike,(as i imagine will be the case with mostnew shows) likewise the second half of this series of Heroes will be withheld until after the strike.

Bionic woman is 're-launching' with a 2 hour special in January, though i'm also told production on that show has already closed down for the duration of the strike.

Maybe a scene on tonight's episode on CBS @ 9pm. It's about two serial killers and one dies. THe other is still killing females. Well, there was a preview of a gal in jeans and was lying on her side with the killer behind her. It was shown as if the killer was torturing her with a webcam broadcasting the scene. I show no bonds, but people on the east coast may want to prepare if some are shown.

I have the scene on tape (yes, I still record my scenes on ol' VHS tapes!!!). I got it in trade & quality isn't the absolute greatest but not bad. Mickie (back then, Alexis Laree) is tied to a chair & cleave gagged with a mal;e wrestler behind stage.
Later, her & the guy are bruoght to the ring and thrown onto the ring apron by the baddies (James Mitchell & company), who proceed to threaten Raven & the other "good guys" (who are not in the ring) with harm to their comrades (Alexis & the guy) if they do not come out to the ring. There are several shots of Alexis wiggling around on the ring apron, still cleave gagged.
For me, a REALLY nice touch was that her ankles were crossed while tied.
They showed more scenes of the tied up guy, since he was getting roughed up quite alot by the bad guys, but Alexis did receive a pretty good kick to the gut while she was tied up.
There were no real close-ups...all were about the same medium shots as in the pic that was posted yesterday here.

Trap
Hello All,

There is a new movie out (direct to DVD) that has a decent scene. The movie is called "Trap" and was a lower budget feature film shot in Detroit. I saw a private screening of it in the theater. Near the end (after a brief putz scene) he turns the tables on his captor and tapes her hands behind her back and her and feet with duct tape and puts her in an empty bath tub. From there she makes an athletic escape onto the floor where she ultimately escapes her bonds though we don't see it. She's recaptured a short while later and has her hands taped overhead and is back in the tub and a tape gag is applied as well. The gag scene isn't terrible impressive as it's one of those you-can-see-her-mouth-open-as-she's-screaming bits. She's a cute blond but unfortunately her face is a little bloody and scarred from earlier action in the film. It's kind of a cool story too and a great low budget effort that does not scream "low budget crap film." Two stars.

Poor scenes after the 30' mark with tape of guy tying a girl in a hogtie. Very poor video and video mostly points at the guy.

In the last 10 minutes, guy ties a rope from a girl's neck to her hands (behind her) then to her feet on a cliff top. Also places a "u" shaped fork at her neck keep her still. Shes starts out on her side, then siting up and then once again lying down. Won't say more to spoil anything for the folks on the other coast.

Chuck
I'm a little worried about Chuck surviving this season. It's ratings jump up and down, and the writer's strike definately doesn't help. I don't know how many of us are out there, but if we could start watching it every Monday, maybe the ratings would improve enough for NBC to keep it around once the strike is over. Not only is this show our best bet for continued scenes, it is also one of the best new shows around based on pure entertainment factor. All of you should give it a try.

As far as a music video channel, I prefer Fuse better than the MTV networks since they play videos more often than MTV. On MTV they air videos mostly overnight while on Fuse you can narrow it down by searching for "No. 1 Countdown", they have various countdowns but I saw it on the Rock countdown (next airing I have is Thurs. 8pm CT). Or you can search for "Loaded" which is a half-hour block of videos by one band or artist, in this case Maroon Five.
