My only thoughts on "Heroes"
Yes, the scene was VERY disappointing. The caps that were posted here months ago were better than the actual scene. But there isn't thing one we can do about it. How about we move on & stop bitching about it!

My thought is, I'd love to hear the clip of her saying "are you gonna tie me up." I know we are not supposed to "ask" for clips, but if anyone could direct me to a "location" where I could hear this little gem, I'd like to know about it. I like the talking about it, aspect of the DID life.

Site update
Happy Thanksgiving! I've added 15 new pages of comic book covers to the "Wonder Woman's Bondage Competitors" section of last month's article on Wonder Woman. Mainly because riffing on those old comics is so much fun. For example, we know the guy on the fainting couch is evil. Why? Well, for one thing, he's lounging about on a fainting couch. For another, he's wearing a yellow silk bathrobe -- Satan's loungewear, indeed!

Man, am I glad I'm not a gag-snob. Heroes was plenty enjoyable to me, but understandably not for most of you. I feel like the only kid at the party who is not disappointed to find out that there's no ice cream to go with his cake.

Let's Go Play At The Adams
I was going thru some of my old books and I came across this gem from years ago. I know this book gets talked about here occassionally. Well, I was looking at, and enjoying, the cover, when an interest thought came to me. In all the years I have read and enjoyed the book, this is something that has never been brought up. I asked myself, "Just who is the cute model on the cover, sitting tied to the chair in her frilly nightie?" I figured a good place to start to look for the answer to that elusive question would be right here on Brian's Page. So, does anyone know the name of the model who posed for the paperback version of LET'S GO PLAY AT THE ADAMS'?

Re: Site update
Thanks for posting the picture, Pat. I was wondering whether you could help me remember the title of a comic book I saw many years ago at a comic book convention. The cover was very delectable, featuring two damsels in bondage. Both were tied to chairs; one was gagged, one was not. The hero, a private detective, was also tied to a chair, and was attempting to dodge a bullet, since the villain was shooting at him.
Does anyone recall seeing such a comic book cover?

Just Beautiful!

"Unproductive" due to in the past, a writer took offence to the topic and posters too, dragging Brian in. When he tried to give a board for topics outside his {{boring}} interests, posters got on him and dragged him into that as well. Didn't work out. So what other to be done that fair all around?

You do realise this board created for him to collect scenes with {{boring}} guys like me huh? Moderating is an unfortunate site responsibility he's dragged into, often after being sqwacked at.
Want proof he one of the guys?
Ask him how many tapes/DVDs he's been sent by me, with a good whack of them caught with his dynamo effort and no credit.

Does anyone know of any damsels in Sandra Brown novels or any others?
I thought I read a Sandra Brown novel with a DiD in it, but I may have been wrong. Does anyone know if amy of her noveels has bound and gagged damsels in them. Or do you of any other novels out there. Thanks!

I don't know of any, but if you'll email the guy listed at my email address, he would be the one to know if anyone does. He's the buy who maintains the comic book covers site I borrowed liberally from (with his kind permission) for my "bondage competitors" section.

Raffish DiDClips updated
Lots of requests this week! The update's going up a bit early, both because of the holiday and because next week's update will go up a lot early. (I'll be traveling starting Wednesday, so I'll be posting the update on Tuesday. Make sure you grab any clips you want from this batch before then!)

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

SOAPNet "SNM"
On Dec. 2, SOAPNet will start what it calls "SNM" -- Sunday night movies. They've already started airing commercials with a play on the acronym.

We went to the Web site but didn't see any indication of what the movies will be. But this may be a sign of possibilities in the future.

Hey Doug, since it's Thanksgiving, it's at the link below. Episode is Cautionary Tales. For future reference, a lot of TV shows, including pay ones like Dexter on Showtime, show full episodes for free on their websites a week or so after they air. It was a great line, expertly delivered.

Re: Thanksgiving
A hearty thanks to Brian and Jay L and civil and all the guys who make this place great!

Now the SCENE I'm most thankful for to date is Holly Hunter doing the nude face-down spreadeagle in "Saving Grace." That was very nice, and distinctly unexpected. Even if the scene in Heroes had been what everyone had hoped it would be, it wouldn't have been nearly as naked as Holly Hunter's scene.

I'm so glad somebody (Raffish) finally uploaded that video for free. I've had a copy of that stupid movie for 5 years and now I can finally get rid of it!

Ok, so that wasn't my final thought on Heroes.
1. I am not a gag snob.

Here's why this was very disappointing for me:

2a. Not 1 but 2 wrists tied to the arms of the chair. Quite boring.
2b. When the super hot blondes were shown hands tied behind, there were VERY few shots of just them alone. No close up of Hayden zip tied & only a blink-and-you-miss-it shot of Kristen taped wrists.

I'm not either, I just think scenes with gags too are always better and scenes without gags generally suck, as in, something really good is missing, like the chick is not hot, or is wearing a heavy overcoat, etc.
