Promo during baseball tonight didn't show bondage, but Emily Deschanel running around as Wonder Woman in the entire promo. Must be a Halloween episode. That would be a nice score for her to get B&G in the outfit. |

Thursday October 25 01:59:27 2007 General Hospital scene coming up |
I was flipping channels this afternoon when I saw a preview of what's coming up in the next few weeks and there's definitely a scene coming up on GH. I saw a handgag but I couldn't see exactly who was it (it looked like Lulu or Emily) and possibly a tied up girl but it was shown so quickly I couldn't see exactly. It seems to happen during a ball and since they start to talk about the ball today on GH, I assume the scene(s) will happen maybe next week. |

...of the Cheryl Ladd "did she or didn't she refer to 'Bound to Please?' " issue, I think Snorkle Puppy and Kinky-napper may be right after all. Now that you mention it, Kinky, it seems that your version of the quote may be more accurate. We'll never know for sure, of course, unless someone saved a copy of the TV Guide issue for that week. I THINK I've got the promo ad that showed her lying bound next to Sam Elliott around here somewhere; why couldn't I just have tossed the whole dadgum TV Guide into the stash, making it worth digging through two-plus decades of detritus to find it now? Guess I never imagined there'd be such a place as this where it'd come in handy. Anyway, Snorkle is absolutely right that this is one of history's most disappointing scenes. All that buildup for essentially nothing. And from CHERYL LADD, of all people! Isn't it funny when you look back on it? Of the original "Charlie's Angels," Kate Jackson was the girl next door, Farrah Fawcett the girl most likely to and Ladd the girl who might if no one else was looking. So which one would you have guessed would go on to make the Hall of Fame with scenes in four different decades? |

YES indeed , if she gets bound and gagged in this get-up, it will be the greatest scene of all time!!! |

I seldom post in this place anymore, but yes she did make a reference to "bound to please" in TV guide. The article claimed she showed wrist bruises or marks of some kind to the interviewer and I naturally watched the movie. I suspect a publicist told her to say something like that knowing it would get more people to watch it. Maybe it will turn up on eBay. |

Just for you Pat. ;) Bound girl found wrists front & tape gagged - Trying to alert to age without making searchable age ref been asked not to do So say "Moderator up, 3 and 2, the speedy runner at first and be running." If I make an outright age ref, the Moderator cranks it into the Green Monster, FOX does a closeup of my face in "Arrgghh BUGGER!" mode, the guy comes out from the bench and rest of game the colour-coms on about "giving up runs". I don't want to be like those guys (like the one poor fella last night) doing it way I did alerts the boys without the Moderator being able to touch it. So say {after looong pause} my "split-finger breaking ball with the high heat". The Moderator starts for the bag, but turns around when the Ref yells "Harrrgghhh!". Colour-coms say "Got him!" I shut the Moderator down! All in FOX HD! How that for an explanation for you and everyone else in the United States will understand Pat? ;) |

Can we agree on some term that can be used to indicate an age related problem so that folks can be alerted to potentially disturbing content? We already use "Putz" to indicate male interference and "MILF" for older actresses. My I suggest "NAA" for "Not Age Appropriate" to signify DiD's of a tender age? It's not a easily determined acronym and it would let folk flag scenes that many of us dont want to see. |

"Temporally challenged" might be an alternate choice of euphemism. ...and I'm really sorry Mr. Mod put wish-lists back in the time vault, 'cause I never got a chance to mention JULIANNE MOORE, CAREY LOWELL, and TÉA LEONI, all of whom have had DiD-scenes ranging from the technical to the highly marginal, but none of whom have had the FULL-BLOWN (so to speak), FULL-FEATURE DiD-SCENEs their pulcritudes so richly deserve!! ;-) |

Thursday October 25 16:22:39 2007 The Ride: The Key to Survival |
As was noted the other day, this one-shot comic came out today, and many here will find it a real winner. The heroine is first seen being removed bound and cleave-gagged from a car trunk, then carried OTS into her captor's trailer where she is chained AOH for a couple of pages. Then, in a development that I know will please a lot of folks, she makes her escape, and spends the rest of the book (another dozen or so pages) running from the bad guy, with the gag still in her mouth. She fights him, she runs, she falls down a well... unbound, but gagged the whole time. The book being in black and white mutes much of the blood/dirt that might otherwise be expected in this kind of story-- she looks pretty good the whole time. And I still have Madame Mirage #3 to pick up! Been a good few weeks for comics recently. |

> I discovered a new show on CW called "Reaper". > The premise and feel of the show could lend itself to > potential great scene. ...Has anyone else seen this series or is keeping tabs on it with DVR? Seen it twice but wasn't impressed with the show or expectant of any scenes in the future. I'll reserve opinion about the show itself but suffice to say it is a Kevin Smith production ("Clerks") featuring his usual dopey characters with the plainly dressed and acting 'girl next door' type. I doubt the girl will ever be a DID and even if she becomes one at some point I'll bet she'll be plainly dressed (with her 'home depotesque' uniform) with comical-looking bonds (loosies) and no gag to match the mood of the show. You don't have to take my word for it but I took it off my dvr rotation and replaced it with "Heroes" in anticipation of K.Bell's and H.Pannieri's(sp?) upcoming scene. After which I can take that off too... |

I think you deleted it because you don't want us talking about organizing letter writing campaigns to the networks about wanting to see actresses bound and gagged because you think that it might draw negative publicity to this website. I understand your concern, but I do not think that "Brian's Page" would be in any danger if we started letter writing campaigns. > I don't want that thread, so it's > off-topic. Simple as that. That is all this comes down to: You don't want that thread so you ruled it "off-topic". It doesn't make any difference what the topic of a certain thread is. If you don't want it, you will delete it. No, they wouldn't. Those websites are not doing anything illegal. Footage that is recorded off television is "fair game". Anybody has a right to post them to a website. Besides, even if we started letter writing campaigns, nobody has to say anything about "Brian's Page". We would just all send the letters and e-mails individually. |

Those websites are not doing anything > illegal. Footage that is recorded off television is > "fair game". Anybody has a right to post them > to a website. You are at least a decade behind with respect to the legal status of "fair use." For your information, it is almost dead, and letter-writing campaigns to the perpetrators -- whom I will consider in this case to be any members of the RIAA or MPAA, or the owners of any major television network -- will merely bring attention to us that almost certainly *will* shut down those of us who have dedicated our efforts to "repurposing" DiD content. (Picture what the producers of "Twisted Sisters" did to majorjohns a while back, times at least fifty.) You know Google, (owners of YouTube), right? You also know Viacom? And you're familiar with the fact that the latter have already forced the former to take down at least a hundred thousand clips submitted by third parties, on threat of a billion-dollar lawsuit? If Google knew the shaky legal ground on which they stood, then how do you think we individual players might feel? I'd try to catch you up on these developments and others, but this is not the place. You know and I know that posting this stuff does not hurt revenues (and possibly quite the opposite in some cases), but the law at the moment does not know this, and it's remarkably ill-informed for you to state otherwise. If you're pissed off about the situation: well, join the club, instead of threatening to help destroy it. (Might I suggest giving generously to the Electronic Frontier Foundation?) > Besides, even if we started letter writing campaigns, > nobody has to say anything about "Brian's > Page". We would just all send the letters and e-mails individually. I see that the House of Le Bastard has already answered this canard perfectly well. |
