Monday October 15 02:11:25 2007 Handgag on TNA Bound for Glory PPV tonight |
When I thought I wouldn't see it, it happened. I was watching the TNA Bound for Glory PPV tonight and during the Steiner Brothers interview, the lovely interviewer (her name's Crystal but I don't recall her last name, sorry) was handgagged by Scott Steiner as she was beginning the interview. It lasted about 3 or 4 seconds but it was fun to watch. For those interested, the event replays all week long on PPV. It happens right after the match between Christopher Daniels and Jay Lethal, midway in the event |

Monday October 15 15:05:18 2007 Does anyone know of any Serial Killer novels with Bound and gagged DiD's |
Thanks for the heads up on the Tom Clancy novels. Does anyone know of any good serial killer novels with bound and gagged DiD's? Thanks. Also does anyone know of police novels where the lead female detective gets the treatment? |

Monday October 15 15:12:14 2007 Outlaw Trail |
For the curious, the film "Outlaw Trail" is released as a straight-to-DVD tommorow on October the 16th. While I'm positive many of you guys forgot about this one as it fell under the radar, it looks like we can expect a lengthy full treatment scene with the adorable Arielle Kebbel! Keep your eyes peeled, and watch out for that DVD. I'll be getting my copy pronto. |

Monday October 15 17:01:10 2007 Looks good for Angie |
Love seeing this blurb on the ratings. Looks like Angie Harmon's show did well on Friday. Might not get a scene anyways, but at least the show is still running. Someone mentioned over the summer a scene coming for someone is episode 3 or 4 of "Women's Murder Club," but looked like that could have been a hoax. At 9 p.m., the premiere of "Women's Murder Club" did a 7.3/13, handily winning the hour and taking viewers away from CBS' "Moonlight" (4.6/8) and NBC's "Friday Night Lights" (3.6/6). |

Eva Longoria Mind you these are just the ones who have not gotten a significant scene yet in their careers. They could all benefit from a "Blind Witness" style scene. :) Or perhaps cast all 4 in the remake of TAU. |

Monday October 15 21:15:11 2007 Rose McGowan as Barbarella?? |
Somehow it slipped under my radar, but apparently ROSE MCGOWAN has either *almost* been cast as Barbarella in the Robert Rodriguez movie... or not. JoBlo has the story (URL below). The movie (long trapped in Development Hell) has *always* been pitched as less a remake of the "Classic" Roger Vadim/Jane Fonda version, than a NEW version drawn from the original Jean-Claude Forest comics. Even if that's not true, we should *still* be in for some great DiD-scenes!! |

Monday October 15 21:19:11 2007 Re: Police novels where the lead female detective gets the full treatment |
> Also does anyone know of police novels where the lead female detective gets the treatment? ---- As you'd noted in a previous post, "The Face Behind the Mask" by John Minahan (1986). And of course, "Dirty Harry #3: The Long Death" by Dane Hartman (1981). Given the frequency of this plotline in movies & TV series, it's kind of a surprise to me that this doesn't occur more often in novels. |

rex wrote: > I imagine there's probably no point in wondering, > but...did anything happen TODAY on Guiding Light??? Or > has the young damsel just disappeared??? Forever??? From what I can tell, she's still being held by the kidnapper. He gets shown every third day or so having a phone conversation. She hasn't been shown since the abduction. As the original poster warned us, this plotline could drag on for a long time given the nature of the character on the show who orchestrated the kidnapping in the first place. From what I can tell, there's one or two of us regulars who have taped this show faithfully since the abduction began, and will continue to do so despite a Guiness World Record-long dragout in the resolution of this storyline. It's frustrating as all get out, but the time slot is an easy one for me to monitor this one with a daily recording. Long story short: When something happens, you'll know about it, so don't worry about asking. If it's something where the scene is on-going and the rest of you can catch all or most of the rescue during the next-day airing or perhaps catch it on a West Coast Alert, then that's how it'll be. I don't have cap abilities, but I have friends around here who do, so ultimately this doggone scene, should there be a satisying one at the end of it all, will get passed around. |
