The only part of this scene you've got right is the title of the series. It was a white cloth gag and she was wearing street clothes and the scene occurred in front of a boat in which she was being taken on. You couldn't say it was a blink and you'll miss scene, but it was very short. I don't know where the prison garb part came from unless you're referring to another scene. I don't have the scene as it was before VCR's and it kind of popped up out of nowhere.

The Man in the Brown Suit
While we wait impatiently for that faithful motion picture adaptation of our favourite Agatha Christie thriller (ideally starring Michelle Ryan)this may be of interest to some of us, I found it on Amazon UK, it's a comics adaptation no less. Let's hope it's a faithful one.

The Michelle Pfeiffer BAD CATS tape gag scene is a near-mythical Holy Grail that we discussed here many years ago. IIRC, people noted that this second scene from the show (not the white cloth scene) was not broadcast in all regions of the country. Either it had been interrupted by a special news bulletin or the series had been canceled so individual local stations elected whether or not to broadcast the unaired episodes, I forget.

I'm sure all of us would love to see it, if it does exist!

The scene you refer to is no myth! I have it on pal vhs. I got it as part of a trade I did with a chap in England on Brian's trade page about 5 years ago. As a scene it's okay. The fact that it's Michelle Pfeiffer is what makes it great. She's in a very short skirt, hands tied in front, taped mouth. Not much in the way of our favorite gagged sounds. It's in one of those climactic stand off scenes where everyone is pointing guns at one another. I've never bothered to work out what's going on in the scene, must be because I don't really care! At this time I don't have the tech to cap it. I should send it to Major John's. That way I get to be a member of that site and you all get to see it. Is it still up?

Re: unknown great scene
My recollection of the B.A.D. Cats tape-gag scene is that she was being held in a tent (?) or some other semi-outdoor venue, and the bad guy at one point takes her face by the chin while he issues some threat. No recollection of prison garb or anything else.

I had thought the bad guy was either Cesare Danova or John Vernon, but IMDB doesn't show either of them having appeared on the show.

Actually, Empowered DOES have super-strength. When it's intact, Empowered's suit gives her the strength of ten bodybuilders. She keeps getting captured and tied up because if her suit is ripped or cut or frayed, it loses some of its power. In any kind of lengthy fight the suit tends to get progressively more ripped and frayed, eventually leaving her almost naked, powerless and shortly after that, bound and gagged.

Our kinda heroine.

The episode plotlines makes us very sad that the series didn't last for a few seasons

Sam (Michelle Pfeiffer) poses as a working girl

Captain Nathan assigns the B.A.D. Cats to investigate when Sam's life is threatened.

Sam goes undercover when the B.A.D. Cats are assigned to watch a cheerleader after her life is threatened.

' Premiering January 4, 1980, the series was cancelled after five episodes, at which point its producers issued what amounted to a public apology. The only logical reason that two episodes of B.A.D. Cats have been released on video is that one of its stars was Michelle Pfeiffer, playing curvaceous lady-cop Samantha "Sam" Jensen. Usually clad in skimpy halter tops and cutoffs, her main purpose was to impersonate hookers and biker chicks, and get kidnapped.'

Jeb, funny you should mention Cesare Danova. He was cast as the baddie in The Mod Squad in the episode where a brunette is kidnapped and tied hands over head to a bed with a wide over the mouth white gag; I remember she wore a sleeveless white turtleneck and was stacked. It was the best scene by far on The Mod Squad. I saw the original when it aired and never again.

In the previous alert post it was referred to as Episode 4. Does this mean it is now episode 3, and will air a week earlier than originally thought?

Is 103 the same as 3?

I assume it means Season 1, episode 03. I'm doubting this is legit. If so, who's the female B&G? Guest star or one of the regulars (Angie Harmon please).

Apologized for producing a show whose only excuse for existence was sending its star, in a skimpy halter and cutoffs, into exploitative situations, or for blowing this formula so badly that the show was cancelled after five episodes?

Burn Notice
At 50' mark, the blonde is rescued. She is only gagged and blindfoled, no bounds. When the kidnapper arrives to check things out, he finds his accomplishs bound and gagged to a bed I believe. One of them is a woman.

I know it existed, i saw it some 27 years ago. i may have some of the details wrong but i never would mistake michelle pfieffer or the white tape gag or the show. I loved the show.I came in on the middle of it and almost fell out of my chair when i saw it being an impressionable 20 y.o. Its a shame if it never got released to dvd or video

Dallas scene
We should have mentioned days ago that the Charlene Tilton scene is coming soon on SOAPNet.

Problem is, SOAPNet monkeyed with its schedule, so Dallas airs only a couple of times a week now.

We might be taping in ...

Anwar goes up to the fiancee and says I will untie you. Problem is, she is not tied up and only has a gagged and blindfold. I started watching at the 45' mark, so I can't say anything happened before this.

So, on tonite's lineup there were TWO shows featuring women gagged & blindfolded but NOT bound?? (Burn Notice & Dead Zone).

That is sort of neat...being gagged & blindfolded but NOT tied is a bit unusual, and for that to happen twice in one nite...

Oops! Nevermind...the scene you were describing I just realized was from Burn Notice & NOT Dead Zone. Sorry, the heading of the post made me think you were talking about The Dead Zone episode for later on tonite.

Burn Notice -> One gal gagged and blindfolded, later the female accomplice is gagged and her arms tied to the top of the metal footboard. The female accomplice does have a bloody nose since she was hit by Anwar with the but of the shotgun.

Dead Zone -> I believe the poster on Monday says she is gagged, blindfolded and gagged.

Did anyone get the actress's name of the fiancee? I didn't tune in untill the 30-minute mark.
Also, the other gal (the baddie) who was tied to the bed, her character name was "Leticia", I'll try & find her ID in the end credits.

Just before they go to rescue her, I believe the one guy mentions to call when they got Donna.
