IIRC, an image of her in some ropes was what Frederic Wertham used in "Seduction of the Innocent" to demonstrate to readers that comic publishers were trying to luuuuure readers into kinky bondage fantasies. |

Little did he know that the fantasies were already there! ;) Police Comics, where Phantom Lady first appeared, seems very racy for its day. One pic I posted on c3c has the hero spanking the bad girl and then tying her up. Another one (not posted) has the hero ripping a dress off a woman to tie up the baddie. Of all the stories published in Police Comics, Phantom Lady acutally seems to be the least racy (except for her costume) or kinky, at least through the first 15 issues. And I've been very pleasantly surprised at how well Police Comics in general have held up over time; if you are a comic book fan you should check them out. Of course, the pic I posted of Phantom Lady gagged does feature this priceless (and prescient) taunt: "You'll get a dose of the treatment handed out to nosey dames who interfere with the plans of the Reich!" |

Hallmark does have a new movie on Saturday with Valerie Bertenelli in a thriller. She needed a scene about 20 years ago, but not looking that great anymore. 9 p.m. Nothing in promos, but premise is there. |

The Chelsea Handler Show and the Fox and Friends unexpected scenes made me wonder what are some other unexpected scenes from talk or news shows? Which did you think were the best ones? |
Friday August 10 04:14:17 2007 Re: Rush Hour 3 |
Zhang Jingchu is abducted by the baddies and is suspended, arms over head, off the top of the Eeifel tower for the climatic cliffhanger. No gag. Earlier in the movie there is a bizarre semi-date-rape scene, played for broad laughs, where the Chris Tucker character abuses his powers as a cop to attempt to force two young women to go out with him and Chan. We briefly see a chubby goth girl and a young Latin lady thrown over his hood with hands cuffed behind. Again, no gags. |

I had been watching BUFFY/ANGEL since the begining, so there had been a few years of tease to make the payoff even sweeter. I was just hitting puberty when the famous PARTNERS IN CRIME scene with Linda Carter and Loni Anderson (both in their exquisite primes) tied and tightly cleave-gagged in a classic damsel in distress pulp scenario first aired. I already had semi-innocent pre-sexual crushes on both and... Wow. I will never forget the profound physical reaction I had, my heart pounding away in my ribs like a rabid mountain gorillia pumped full of bathtub meth. My face getting flushed and hot, my eyes riveted open...Still one of the greatest scenes ever. In college I remember getting really excited about discovering the Sharon Stone scene in her kinda obscure B-movie COLD STEEL. I haven't re-watched the scene lately so I can't say if my excitement was merited or if it was just because she was the hot sex symbol of the moment then. |

Jane Seymour was an insane crush of mine from the first time I saw her in a small role in Young Winston, which was shortly followed, of course, by Live and Let Die, the bondage in which was not particularly interesting (IMHO). For the next few years (decades, I guess), I followed her career, hoping against hope for her to taste a gag, even going so far as to check out Oh Heavenly Dog! and Lassiter at the theater, since they seemed to be the kinds of lightweight crime stories where damsels occasionally get distressed (remember, kids, no Internet or Brian's Database back then). All in vain. I was particularly depressed when she twice did TV movies where her character was supposed to get B&G (Jamaica Inn and The Scarlet Pimpernel), but she somehow avoided it! I had pretty much abandoned hope until I heard about Memories of Midnight, and when I finally tracked it down, was rewarded bigtime: nice chair bondage (cuffs, not rope, but that's OK), bad girl gloating, onscreen gagging (OTM rather than cleave, but at least it wasn't tape, and it did look nice tied over her long hair), nice outfit, and more than a blink-and-you'll-miss-it. And even 18 years on from Live and Let Die, she still looked fine. Her subsequent Dr. Quinn scene was good, too, but just icing on the cake at that point. |

There was another Fox & Friends scene with Juliet Huddy back in 2004. But it seems to be missing in action. There is also a scene in the database that sounds interesting. Title: CBS Morning News Medium: Other Actress: Nanette Hansen Description: Nanette continues to tease her male co-anchor over turning 40 so he leans over and duct tapes her mouth shut. |
Friday August 10 11:47:08 2007 Old Navy gals |
Apropos of nothing at all, Old Navy appears to have changed ad agencies, and their new campaign (all slo-mo, slinky walks, hair bouncing... a big step away from the retro-cheekiness of recent years) features a trio of hotties in tight jeans (The Diva, The Flirt, The Sweetheart) that are very easy to picture as the logical successor Charlie's Angels. There's pictures of them at the Old Navy site, along with a streaming version of the ad.
At any rate, someone needs to cast these three as a new crimefighting team, stat. If those damn Cavemen can get their own series, why not these gals? |

Friday August 10 12:18:28 2007 George Perez |
I don't know how mainstream this is or isn't, but Mr. Moderator please accept my apologies if it *isn't* considered mainstream...
Noted comic book artist George Perez, the chap who drew the new award winning Wonder Woman comic book from DC, will be making an appearance at FetishCon here in Tampa tonight to help introduce a show being put on the "League of Amazing Women". L.A.W. is certainly not mainstream, but George is. It appears that the lines between mainstream and the adult world are becomming even a little bit more blurred... |

For those who haven't heard of it, she was loosely tape gagged in a playful way by Mike Jerrick. The tape is semi-transparent and you can see her lipstick on the underside. There is no other bondage. I would be glad to email them to someone who could display them online. |

I could add a bunch of names to the list, including recent add-ons Kellie Martin and Vanessa Marcil, but really only one time did I get overly excited like you did in that "Partners" scene. Mine was for Michael Michele. The second I saw her on "Dangerous Curves" I wanted to see her B&G, and if her cute partner came along, fine. When the "French Connection" episode was developing, my heart started pounding. The payoff was incredible, with both B&G in one of my all-time favorite scenes, and definitely the best combo scene, IMO. |

I looooove the expressions on her face once she finally works the tape off and spits out her sodden packing after HOURS of struggling: "Gasp! Oh God, I can breathe again! At last I got that damn thing out of my mouth! That was so humiliating!". Then the bad guy walks in and she has to just sit there, eyes burning, as he looks down at her condensendingly and puts it right back on. Priceless. |

Friday August 10 17:46:58 2007 Solitary 2.0 |
Fox reality channel has a interesting show coming up on Saturday. It is a reality TV show with both male and female contestants. Apparently they are put in " solitary" conditions for a perior of time (to what end im not sure) and during trhe preview it showed on (male) contestant handcuffed and another (male) contestant strapped to a chair and BALLGAGGED !
before some one points out that the preview shows only males (major PUTZ alert) in the bondage situations, I imagine the female contestants have to participate also... At least it is worth a TIVO |

Friday August 10 18:31:35 2007 Just the girl gagged |
Next to girls turning the tables on vilainess captors (The Avengers, "Stay Tuned"), I'm a big fan of scenes where two or more people are tied up and only the girl is gagged. It could be two girls tied up and only one of them is gagged, a putz and a girl tied up and only the girl is gagged, etc. I'm blanking on examples of this but I know they're out there.
Does anyone have any good examples of this? |

Friday August 10 18:36:49 2007 As the World Turns - today |
I just saw that there was a scene on this soap today. Maura West is seated on a chair, her hands tied behind her back when the beefy guy holding her captive puts a piece of duct tape over her mouth. A guy with a gun comes in to rescue her, but the beefy guy tosses him around. Maura, suddenly free (I guess she untied herself), runs to attend to her would-be rescuer, quickly removing the tape from her mouth in the process. This happens about 30 minutes into the episode.
About 44 minutes into the episode, Maura is now seated back-to-back with her would-be rescuer, their left hands are cuffed together and I believe their right hands are tied together, though it's tough to see. The beefy guy says, "Real handy brining your own cuffs, detective, tying and untying ropes can take up such valuable time." Maura and the detective were still in their predicament at episodes end and previews for Monday's episode show them still struggling as a fire in the cabin threatens them. |
