When was the last time you saw a tape gag that didn't cover the lips? All tape gags cover lips unless the "miss" is part of the scene becaue of struggling and this is extremely rare. Conversely, it is rare for tape in a medical hospital procedure to completely seal the lips shut like a gag; therefore, it's likely not a gag. I still think there is a good chance for a gag in the movie. |
Sunday July 08 04:25:09 2007 Does this scene sound familiar to anyone? |
Hola amigos.
Raffish: The name of this film is "Un instante para morir". The last girl (in white bra and panties) is Maribel Guardia. I don't know the name of the other girls. Just for your info, in this movie you miss another bondage scene appear when start the movie. In this scenes another hot latina is tied with her stockings (no gag). Saludos! |

Sunday July 08 10:51:04 2007 Hannibal rising |
There is a good scene in that movie that is not in the database.
The aunt of the young Hannibal, played by a cute asiatic woman is kidnapped and tied hands in back on a chair. She's wearing a nightdown. Scene not to bad, and the movie is also very good. |

The caption reads "Lipstick Trick" ... so I'm supposing it's an aid in keeping the lipstick on the straight and narrow. Still, an intriguing image, innit? |

I did see that when u first posted, but what I meant was racking my brain for which episodes contained the scenes in question (and others). Thanks for bringing up that site, though, now I can relive my humble bondage beginnings! |

I recognized that the killer was in a movie I had just taped off Aztec America called "Cuestión de fe" which had a 30 second scene with a girl tied to a tree. I looked up in IMDB and found his name - Agustín Bernal. I also saw (in my lousy copy) that they as they had stuff about the zodiac signs after each killing. Knew that the film was pre 1998, looked down the list and found "Asesino del zodíaco, El" (aka "An Instant to Die"). Also recognized that the detective was played by Sebastian Ligarde, whose credits involve many, many of the Spanish speaking scenes. Came here to tell you, but Lazo beat me out. I must have hundreds of unidentified scenes like this where I had entered such great titles as "SP - 2 girls strangled" in pre Tivo, pre DVD days. Thanks to the great Scene Database and IMDB, I have been able to find 95% of the correct identifications. Maybe somebody can ID this scene - Spanish language movie - 2 girls (wearing jeans) kidnapped by bearded guy wearing white outfit and a woman. Most of the time the girls are sitting on couch, both gagged with white tape for long sequences with closeups. At the end of the movie, shootout in some outside fenced in area. One of the girl runs away, still bound and gagged, works gag off mouth by rubbing it against wall. She is rescued. Movie must be 1998 or earlier. |

Also, the girl tied to a chair is the same girl from the other Spanish movie we were having trouble identifying. The one where she was hogtied. The one that starts off with another girl tied face down, hand and foot, while a guy applys needles to her skin. |

I say that cos it looks like a tube (i meant that not oxygen mask - d'oh!) being held in place and i didn't want people getting their hopes up. i'd love (and hope) to be wrong although i'd say theres a reasonable chance of a scene in the film, so fingers crossed. |

I think it is a tape gag with lipstick being applied to it. I can think of two other instances in cinema in which an actress has been gagged with tape over her mouth and had lips drawn on the strip of tape with which she's gagged. The first is Tawny Kitaen in the movie "The Perils of Gwnedoline"; she is shackled and pouting because of this. Her captor, a robust woman with a horrid hairdo, admonishes her to not frown, and tapes her mouth shut and paints a smiling pair of lips on her gag. The second is Drew Barrymore in "Cahrlie's Angels". Late in the movie she is bound and gagged, and a pair of lips is drawn on the duct tape with which she is gagged. |

Yeah - I looked at it again and it does seem to be a lipstick stencil. It just caught my eye as a strange cover for a fashion / hollywood magazine from the 30's - it has a kind of John Willie's bizarre feel to it. It's still quite an evocative image though |

Sunday July 08 17:52:47 2007 Nightmare series online |
This will most likely be a series online but on nightmareserie s.com there is a 1st episode entitled "Lost Girl" of slight interest. About 3/4 of the way thru the preview the victim's v.o. states "I can't move my hands and feet." followed shortly by a quick shot of a deceased looking girl in a nightgown(?) with her hands bound behind her back possibly attached to a column she is behind. She is looking at some slob walk by who hears her voice in his head while he is attempting to find her in this abandoned warehouse. He later finds her on her knees head bowed with barely a shot of her hands bound behind her back. If you play the "concepts" video you will see a still of her better lit but no visible signs of bindings.
Apparently, this show is supposed to be a non-fictionalized recollection of real people's nightmares so I wouldn't keep my hopes up. |

Thanks Lazo (once again), Caesar, and angryrob, for the solid info on "El Asesino del zodíaco." I've updated the DB with that primary title and a bunch more details, and the even better news is that the ol' "record it from VHS to TiVo prior to sending it to the capture box" trick stabilized the video enough for me to make a decent clip. Interested parties will find it linked from my front page. |
