Friday May 25 00:07:02 2007 Possibility on Days Of Our Lives Friday |
Alison Sweeney may get tied up. Two lines from a spoiler site: EJ tries to comfort Sami as she cries in captivity;
Sami struggles, but EJ assures her the child will not be harmed. Both lines suggest she is restrained in some way. Not a certainity, but worth recording. |

I've read both comics, and like the stories and the character. I'm not sure I remember an inappropriate racial epithet? I think the Chinese villain in Issue #1 is a great throwback to the old Fu Manchu series of the 1940s, a good villain for a damsel-in-distress character... |

Friday May 25 02:17:04 2007 Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End |
Looks like I might be the first to report this. Just returned from an opening night showing of "POTC: At World's End", and shiver me timbers, there's a nice and fairly unexpected scene involving Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, "Tia Dalma" in POTC). Toward the end of the movie, she's basically bound from head to toe in thick rope, arms at her sides. No gag. It's hard to say much more without getting into plot points that some may not want to hear, but suffice to say that it's a fairly prolonged scene, and not a bad one at that. |

It was an episode close to the end of the series run when Phoebe was going out with the character Mike, played by Paul Rudd. Phoebe commented that to get him down the aisle he'd have to be handcuffed and gagged and she imitated him at the alter trying to say wedding vows while gagged by covering her mouth with her hand. |

I think the episode also concerned some of the friends vacationing in the Bahamas or somewhere. You could possibly look for that description in a "Friends" episode data base to help ID it. |
Friday May 25 05:35:34 2007 "Live Free and Die Hard" |
I saw that the "Die Hard" movie "Live Free and Die Harder" is due out in June. I remember hearing some talk about Bruce Willis' characters daughter possibly getting kidnapped in this movie. Has anyone heard any more about this film's possibilities? |

In the trailer there's a scene where Bruce is on the phone to one of the bad guys, bad guy hands the phone over "There's someone who wants to talk to you" "Daddy" Doesn't appear to be restrained but it's not clear, IMDB credits the role to Mary elizabeth Winstead |

Maybe her hands ARE bound. Also, there's a scene in the trailer where the bad guys hold the girl hostage, and her hands appear to be (tied?) together. I don't know, but I have a feeling that this is going to be a tie-up-only movie... |

Liked the mmmphing Hillary did at the beginning of the scene, implying that the villainess handgags her then shuts the door. Too bad it wasn't shown visually. |

Also pretty tight ropes (arms are squeezed in rather nicely) |

There's money to be made in commercial bondage photography? Cool! No wait, I do that, don't I. Although I do occasionally try my hand at writing damsel-in-distress fiction on some of the "Perils of..." sites that I run (PerilsofTatiana.com, PerilsofCarmen.com, PerilsofDesiree.com and PerilofNaydra.com have some of my stories.) I also have a couple of folks who contribute stories, and I love sharing them with visitors. In fact, even one of my models, Arela DeCarlo, wrote a story of her own scene at PitandthePendulum.com ! Can I say I'm as good a writer as Van, Jeb, etc.? Of course not. But I try, everyone tries, and hopefully we entertain, amuse, and like all creators, we hope our efforts are appreciated. :D |

Friday May 25 19:23:50 2007 Late West Coast alert for Duelo de Passions |
In the first ten minutes of this Univision telenovela there's a scene of Ludweka Paleta and Erica Buenfils bound hand and foot and overmouth gagged with white cloths along with a maid. Unfortunately the authorities break in almost immediately and grab the guy holding them and release the captives. The scene itself occurrs at about the 7:08 mark. The two above are the blonde mother and daughter who've been mentioned in this site before. Only a couple of quick scenes before they're rescued. |

It's obvious not just hollywood but independents are aware of the 'tied up damsel in distress' fans out there. On one dvd commentary track from some horror flick (can't remember name) I remember the director commenting "...I'm surprised pictures of this haven't popped up on those bondage sites.." -- but of course they did, along with a clip of the movie. Not to complain because as a bondage fan I'm all for the 'free publicity'. I wouldn't be surprised if more stuff like this keeps turning up. Not to say I claim this is a fake, but I'd be wary... |

Second time in a row I missed a scene on there and only got the daughter's handgag earlier this week. Maybe Gman will catch it for his youtube page. |

Friday May 25 21:59:05 2007 Barbarella remake |
Not sure if this has been mentioned but Sin City director Robert Rodriguez is to make a new film version of cult sci-fi classic Barbarella. The original film, based on Frenchman Jean-Claude Forest's comic book, starred Jane Fonda as the titular mercenary and intergalactic sex-kitten.

Friday May 25 23:26:29 2007 Numbers (West Coast Alert) |
Episode that aired earlier this season has aired tonight for the east coast at 10pm. Scene occurs in the last 15min (maybe more of the last 10 min; since I didn't watch the clock as the VCR was taping).
It is the scene where the lady is on the floor next to a bed while being held at gunpoint. |

Sounds great can't wait to see her tied up, even with the voodoo attire. Found this interview from June of 2006. Sorry if this has already been posted. I do love when an actress talks about it. Question: How much physical stuff is there for you in Pirates 3? Harris: Not very much at all. No, apart from getting tied up, there's not much at all. I seemed to get tied up in every movie I do, like, 28 Days Later, Miami Vice and now Pirates as well. The link is for the entire interview with Naomie. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news06/pirates4.php |
