| Check out this detail from a cover (not much of a detail, takes up about a third of the cover) from the December 1943 edition of Rangers Comics. I'd say the censors were on vacation. Check out that bondage arms behind, with the chains at the upper arms and the hair bound with some kind of metal clasp. Teh censors were out to lunch, alrighty. Check out that skintight silk dress.
Not at all atypical of the sort of covers comics were putting out in those days. |

| Didn't see any other posts about this the past few days, looks like Days of Our Lives is going to pay off with a scene for Sami. Video weekly preview shows her duct taped to the front seat of a car with her hands duct taped to the steering wheel. Not gagged.
She looks down at something in between the seats and screams "Oh help me!" This is the blurb NBC has posted on the Days site: Thursday Sami is on her way to translate the mysterious letter, when she is waylaid by Bart and faced with death. She is pregnant in the show so that may be a turn off for some. |

| Yesterday, someone leaked a workprint copy of Hostel Part 2, i have the clips up at my blog now, 5 scenes in total. Good picture quality but the scenes are all dark and because it is a workprint copy, there are 2 blurry lines at the very top and bottom of the screen but it dosnt affect the scenes much. |

No, they're not perfect, but they are certainly watchable and a great sneak peak. The bondage is excellent. I'm just, wondering what kind of individual enjoys a movie like this? Personally, I can find many other things to spend $10+ on other than watching people get senselessly tortured for two hours. Is this really what turns people on these days? |

They will list certain features to be found on covers. For this one, it would list headlights (protruding breasts) and bondage. btw, for any comic book bondage fans, this is a good resource, especially for the golden age of comics (pre-code). It's been a number of years since I checked it out, but I believe it also indicated if there was bondage inside as well as on the cover. I'm not sure if it's still being printed, but older volumes can be had cheaply. |

Thanks a bunch! I caught the whole movie yesterday, but it's great just to have these clips of the "scenes of interest". And nice to see the cleave gags being used on both Bijou Phillips and Lauren German...as well as the other two ladies glimpsed in the scene where she's taken out of the "holding cell" |

| Is there a bondage scene in the book "The Bone Collector" as there was in the movie version? If so, is it the same, or really similar? What other good sotries are out there that happen to contain perferably lenghthy scenes of one or more girls tied up and gagged, trying to escape and call for help? What are some good recomendations? |

But the movie does deliver with the bondage: Heather Matarazzo is seen hanging upside down and OTM gagged before meeting her demise. It's an effective scene that, while gory, certainly has you feeling for the victim. Bijou Phillips is seen bound and cleavegagged in the "waiting room" where we can see two other ladies bound and gagged in the same manner. She's taken to chair where she's still bound and gagged but then attempts to escape... Which doesn't go well as she ends up ballgagged and strapped into a chair while menaced with an electric saw. For those who don't want to know what happens next...I won't say. Lauren German is chained and cleavegagged to a chair...has the gag removed...then has it tied in again. The good part about this is the gag goes from a thick cleave to a tighter cleave... Bondage-wise, it delivers. "Torture porn" wise, I certainly have seen worse in many other movies. BTW...the guys don't get off lightly in this movie. Not at all. |

But we do glimpse tortures of two different guys that are a bit severe. Medium: Movie Actress: Tricia Helfer Description: About 1:26:30 into the movie, she is seen tied to a chair & OTM gagged. Fairly long scene, about 5 minutes total. She seems to have a hard time getting the gag off, must have been really tight! Some nice mmmphhh-ing & struggling. |

| The new German series, GSG 9, produced some very good scenes tonight (picture at the link).
Basically, the wife of one of the GSG 9 team, played by Anna von Berg, was kidnapped to force her husband to help assassinate the president of Afghanistan. She is bound to a chair with cable ties, and is blindfolded with a white cloth. She is also gagged with a very large pice of grey tape, and is ungagged and re-gagged onscreen several times. She is also seen gagged but without the blindfold. Lots of mmphing, struggling and some great close-ups. |

Actually, the "Comics Code" didn't come out until well after 1943, it being a product of the 1950s. In fact it was a report called "Seduction of the Innocent" by a very naive psychologist that ended up with the Comics Code coming into existence. You will see references to that too in the Overstreet guide, in that several comic books will have the notation "SOTI", which indicates that part of that particular issue is referenced in the report, more often than not with an excerpt.... |

Yes, I didn't mean to imply that that particular cover somehow slipped past the Comics Code Authority, but that prior to the imposition of the Comics Code, the censors were paying no attention to the comics and they got away with some really intense bondage imagery that wasn't matched until comics censorship ended in the 70s. See an example from 1948, also pre-code, below. |

Including a mother/daughter duo and including one with the heroine, played by Angelina Jolie, in the climatic scene. I don't read much detective or suspense fiction anymore so the only I could suggest would be old scenes. I'll only mention those by name authors that you might find these days. Lets see "Thin Air" in the Spenser series. "Puss in Boots" by Ed McBain. "Nightime is My Time" and "A Stranger is Watching" by Mary Higgins Clark. "Cold Fire" has a great scene around the fifty page mark by Deane Koontz. "The Face Behind the Mask" by John Minahan, may be impossible if not hard to find, but it's a bondagethon. |
