Passions alert
Liza Huber supposed to be tied up Thursday in US airings, so maybe someone in Canada can watch on Wednesday to see what happens. Real life daughter of Susan Lucci.

Once more, Boss...
...please check your feedback responses. I assumed that went to your e-mail but maybe I'm wrong about that. Having issues with the filter again.

If you didn't get the submission I'm having trouble with, please e-mail me.

Days of our Lives alert
Sorry for being late about it but for those who can catch Days repeat today, Kayla was bound and gagged today after henchmen took away her husband. Happened between the 5 and 15 minutes time mark. She's OTM gagged with a black scarf. It was short but nice mmmphing.

Sweet.

We don't think Days has aired yet here, but we'll check.

And we'll be watching or taping in ...

Barda (2007)
I stumbled onto clips of this movie at Youtube. I think it's Turkish.

A group of thugs cause trouble in a bar and take several hostages. All the hostages (4 men and 4 women) are tied up and gagged and beaten. One of the women is groped (onscreen) and a couple of the girls are raped (offscreen).

Clip links are on the Video Page. (I think you can pretty much watch the whole movie. Just follow the links to the member page of the person who put these files up for the rest of the scenes).

Mary Beth was very cute in 1983's 'Masquerade' (cleave gagged in white lingerie)

'Drive' News
FOX is bringing back the short-lived car-race drama "Drive," albeit for one night only.

The abruptly cancelled Tim Minear-produced series will return on Wednesday, July 4 for two consecutive hours, running from 8-10 p.m. ET. Those two hours will represent the end of the show's initial six-hour run, as well as the last two produced hours for "Drive" (i.e. don't expect an extensive DVD set featuring 13 episodes, because they don't exist).

Another Turkish movie
Here's another movie clip I stumbled upon. The woman is taken aboard a ship, raped (while passed out) and tied up, first with over-the-mouth gag, then cleave.

I have no idea what the title of the movie is.

It looks like Turkey could be a good source of our movies. Anyone speak Turkish? If so, what is the word for "gagged"? (It might help with searches on youtube).

She's in medical restraints on a bed in a regular bedroom, fully clothed. I don't know how much footage there is, or what the story's about. She was talking to her mother on the speaker phone. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. It does carry over to the next day. Lots of struggling. Maybe she's trying to stop herself running after that wretched milquetoast husband of hers.

I haven't followed this one in awhile Jay, but the 1PM episode on Global was always 'one day ahead.'

More interesting in this wacky soap there's a harlequin like character dressed half man half woman whose stalking Theresa and Ethan in some secret passageways. This soap bears watching for the next few days.

I guess Naomi Watts would be too old, wouldn't she?
It's official, according to the AP story below. Peter ("King Kong") Jackson will direct the movie adaptation of Alice Sebold's best-selling novel "The Lovely Bones," the audiobook version of which we briefly discussed here some months ago.

Which, of course, raises hopes that the gagged-but-not-bound scene in the book will expand into something more interesting on screen-and raises the question of who'll play the protagonist. Naturally we must tread carefully here, for reasons that will be clear to those of you familiar with the novel. Nonetheless, I'll nominate Evan Rachel Wood and Hilary Duff for starters. Emma Watson might also be a good choice if she's not too busy with the last Harry Potter movie by then. And how about Rachel Hurd-Wood, already in the database for the umpteenth remake of "Peter Pan" a few years back? Personally I hope they don't go with Dakota Fanning, although she probably has the inside track.

Any more names jump out at anyone?

And speaking of Watts, while recalling another literary gem committed to audio in recent years that we also talked about here, it struck me upon watching her performance in "King Kong" that despite being nearly 40, she'd still make a decent Anne Beddingfeld were someone to finally make a good movie out of Agatha Christie's "The Man in the Brown Suit."
