Susan Saint James had a knockout scene, where she was captured in the woods, KO'd via some type of reverse smelling-salt device right into the nose. Later, she's carried OTS hands tied behind and what looked like cleave-gagged into a cave. She's only shown from behind. When seen in the cave, she's tied by not gagged. Only saw this years ago when A&E was first starting, and unlike McMillian & Wife, they didn't air McLeod reruns for long. FYI, Susan Saint James makes her return to network TV, I think, tonight on one of the "Law & Orders" playing a lawyer. I think a story said it her first role in 10 years since she left the business. Nice to see her working after the airplane tragedy that hit her family last year. |

My understanding is that the movie stills business preceded Irving Klaw's own production of bondage photography. When he realized how popular stills featuring bondage were with his customers, he began to produce them himself. No idea if that is true or not. |

For career achievement in bondage, I'd have to nominate Deidre Hall and kristin Alfonso, both from Days of Lives, which for years was the most bondage-friendly soap. It's been years since I've tracked these closely, but my all time favorite soap bondage scenes would be: Martha Byrne on the ship and in the clock factory, on As the World Turns; nancy Frangione in the laundry cart and in the car in Another World, Jane Krakowski in Search for Tomorrow and, finally, Lisa Brown in the hold of an old ship (rats crawling over her bare feet, so this gets extra points) on Guiding Light. |

The other female cop, Mirage, got tied up on at least three occasions that I can remember (maybe more), yet everyone seems to remember Mainframe's one sequence. Maybe it was because she wasn't as active in the field as the others, so it was sort of a "forbidden fruit" type thing. In the words of Dennis Miller, "of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong." |

I think one reason that Memories of Midnight is one of my fave scenes ever is simply the fact that Ms Seymour spent most of her career up to that point adroitly sidestepping bondage scenes (including remakes of films that HAD bondage the first time around!). I remember thinking "About damn time!" |

Wednesday March 01 12:34:15 2006 The Hills Have Eyes |
Anyone see anything about this new movie coming out March 10? It looks like it has potential but the trailer won't work on my comp. Its a remake I think but nothing in the database about it. So if someone can view the trailer or knows about the original then they can give an update if it might be worth seeing or not. |

>(unsigned poster) wrote: > For the readers: > 1) Of the 9 network soaps on ABC, CBS, and NBC which > shows have the most scenes ? > 2) If you were to create a daytime top ten list, what > actresses have had the most scenes ? Watching soaps for did scenes is like having a root canal without novocain. Painful during with very little rewards. But if I had to put together a top 10 of most scenes, here are my pics: 1. Kristian Alfonso 2. Teri Conn 3. Erica Sleziak 4. Jensen Buchanon 5. Martha Byrne 6. Susan Lucci 7. Mackenzie Westmore 8. Melissa Reeves 9. Kristina Wagner 10. Alicia Leigh Willis This is my 10 Top 10 list in random order. If anybody has different choices, please add them. Now if you're talking about best scenes, that's a whole different story. 1. One Life to Live Cheerleaders taped to poles in gym 2. Days of our Lives Billie & Hope tied back-to-back in chairs 3. As the World Turns Lucy taped up 4. Martha Byrne kidnapped & hogtied in the 80's 5. Sarah Michelle Gellar on All My Children (needed a gag, IMO) 6. Bold & the Beautiful's Adrianne Franz kidnapped by Kimberlin Brown 7. Guiding Light's Lucy abducted by the cross-dressed 8. Joanne Johnson from Bold & the Beautiful 9. Teri Conn kidnapped on As The World Turns 10. Kritsian Alfonso held hostage in a castle on Days of our Lives These are MY favorite scenes. I'm sure they will vary from person-to-person. |

In the commericial, it looks like JoJo, the pop singer, gets a handgag. I don't think there's much more than that, but it's better than nothing. |

---- If someone has Jaclyn's scene on tape (or remembers it well) and would like to add it to the Scene Database :-) According to IMDB.com, the stunning Jaclyn Smith appeared in two episodes: "Showdown at the End of the World" (1973; 3.4), which I believe was one of the opening credit scenes, with McCloud rappelling down; and "The Man with the Golden Hat" (1975; 5.6) where Jaclyn played a ballerina. I don't recall Jaclyn's scene -- but my guess would be that such a scene would most likely have popped in "Showdown at the End of the World", since its climax was the the ol' villain seizes girlfriend hottie to shoot it out with our hero. |

Wednesday March 01 18:05:18 2006 Re: Daytime's Best |
A couple of great scenes that (as far as I know) never get mentioned:
1) Marcy Walker on Santa Barbara. I don't quite remember the exact details (thank god), but Walker's character, "Eden," is tied and cleave gagged in the stables, I think. Anyway, it's a thick, tight, green cleave, and there's some good captor dialogue, as well. The scene also features the classic "struggle to talk into the phone" while gagged" scenario. Hm. So perhaps I'm wrong about it being in the stables, since I don't generally think of stables as having phones. But then again, the Capwell's were ridiculously rich, so maybe that's correct. Incidentally, the scene goes on for quite a while, which is a nice bonus. 2) Leanne Hunley in Days of Our Lives. Hunley's character, Anna, narrowly avoids a crate that is meant to fall on her head. She sneaks into a car to hide. Fortunately for us, the driver of the car ends up being Roman Brady, who has been accused of being the Salem Slasher. When he finds her, he puts her in the front seat and gags her with a thick white cleave gag. The scene is short, but includes a couple great close ups. And although her hands are tied in front, there is a nice moment when she tries to take the gag out to no avail - only a look of hopeless frustration on her face. Also a plus for me is the fact that Roman is innocent, so he explains to her that he has to keep her tied up as she mmmphs away. (I think the two characters had been married, so there's a bit of playfulness in the exchange.) To my knowledge, neither of these have ever been posted as caps or clips, but in my memory they each remain among my favorite scenes from the 80s. So does my memory deceive me? Or are there others out there who remember these scenes, too? |

This recollection brought to mind scenes in television programs and movies in which a bound and gagged damsel attempts to summon aid by talking in to a phone. I can recall two such instances, the first being the movie "Caracara", in which Natasha Hesntridge is bound and gagged with duct tape and somehow manages to get to a phone, knock the handset off, and dial 911. She makes muffled noises into the phone, and the operator, a dedicated and helpful woman, realizes she's gagged, and advises her to keep making noises. The second instance is the episode of "It Takes a Thief", entitled "A Case of Red Turnips", in which the blonde guest actress is bound and gagged in a harem girl outfit, and attempts to call for help by talking into a telephone through her thich cleave-gag. |

Yeah, there'll be variances, but how can you put together a list like this and NOT include the threesome of Demi Moore, Janine Turner & Sharon Wyatt from GH? That just ain't right... :) |

Wednesday March 01 21:39:08 2006 Ultraviolet? |
This "new" movie opens in the US on Friday (the 3rd). I'm not particularly excited about it. I'm sure Mila Jovovich is *very* hot, but it look like Aeon Flux-II. That said, I was looking at some SciFi magazines last weekend, & it looks like there *may* be a Mila DiD-scene. In one of the two previews that have been airing on TV, Mila's character is sitting in a white, modernistic chair & is surrounded by several thin, articulated, metal arms. They look robotic, & either dentistry, cosmotology, or torture is about to happen. Anyway, one of the magazines had a photo of the scene, & you can see that her thumbs are pinned to the chair arms by steel loops. It looks like bondage to me! :-) {Unfortunately, I can't remember the title of the magazine.} :-( I've looked for a relevant photo online, without success. |

One scream from SMG and the revenge plot is blown. Psycho has to leave SMG alone so cannot threaten her directly to prevent a scream. Two choices, knock her out or gag her. Didn't do either. Makes no sense. |

Today's episode had a woman found in a secret compartment under the bed bound, tape gagged, and blindfolded. Very short scene at about 30 minuites in. Have not seen the rest yet. |

From "The Question," a "Mission:Impossible" episode, we have a quite thoroughly tied and gagged Elizabeth Ashley using her fingernail to tap out a message in morse code over the phone. Whatta a Gal & Whatta a Scene!! |

Wednesday March 01 23:00:03 2006 West Coast Mini-Alert: CSI-NY |
Towards the end of the show, the flashback of the crime investigated in the show has Paula Trickey (I was wondering what happened to her after Pacific Blue) bound arms behind and blindfolded. You mostly see her blindfolded but as she falls on a bed, you get a quick glimpse of her bound hands behind her. She is wearing a nightgown and the picture is fuzzy, so this is for completists only IMO. I'm not sure if more was shown earlier in the hour. |
