Sunday February 26 00:44:02 2006 Alexandra Paul |
Not that great of a scene in the Sci-Fi movie, but not terrible either.
Alexandra and partner are grabbed about 90 minutes in and tied to chairs. The guy is already gagged while Alexandra tries to reason with the thugs. She's tape-gagged on screen from a distance. The thug taped her poorly, with the tape in his palm, then pressed onto the lips. This led to a wrinkled gag (also a little short). The gag remained that way for the entire scene. Alexandra was shown 3 times with some good struggling. A couple decent closeups, but nothing straight on. Her head was down toward the ropes most of the scene. The partner breaks free and Ally gives a couple of mmmpppffs before being ungagged (also from a distance). Alexandra had her hair tied back and looked pretty good. |

Sunday February 26 02:35:20 2006 Deceit the Play |
Based on a notice I found on this page, I went to see a play call Deceit (http://www.deceittheplay.com). The lead actress is quite cute and she did get tape gagged. It was pretty cool as she was laying on the floor barefoot while the villian tape gagged her right in front of me. They struggle around awhile while she is gagged and he eventually leads her into another room. She did a nice job of mmmphing. Unfortunately she is never tied up, but she is gagged with two strips of tape in front of the audience and if you like feet, she is barefoot throughout most of the play.
Being a believer in supporting the local arts, I'm glad I went. |

Sunday February 26 10:11:06 2006 Pepper Dennis premieres Tuesday, April 4 |
"Pepper Dennis", starring Rebecca Romijn as an appealingly klutzy Chicago TV news reporter who gets passed over for the anchor job in favor of a guy with whom she had a one-night stand, premieres Tuesday, April 4 @ 9:00PM E.T. (WB).
Unfortunately (as previously discussed on this page), it appears that this new series will be a sitcom about sexual tension in the newsroom, rather than our preferred Lois Lane-type of news reporter. Wasn't there already a long-running sitcom about an ingratiating woman who worked for a Midwest news station (and who was notorious for hosting bad parties at her apartment?)... |

I LOVE those newsbabes - waiting for another scene with Merdtith Viera ! Anyway - regarding your post - George Stephanopoulo's wife (the cute blonde) had a news talk show where according to the database, she did herself up multiple times with tape/scarves. Not likely anyone caught this on tape - but I'd sure like to see THAT - she's a babe! |

Robby's post with the Age Reference taken out.
============== In "Trapped", Alexandra Paul plays Samantha, an internet security expert who is struggling to balance work, her relationship with her girlfriend and the raising of her temperamental XXXXXXXX daughter, Gwen. While on their way to a spa to spend much-needed mother/daughter quality time, Samantha and Gwen are kidnapped by the mysterious Adrien (Dennis Christopher). Using Gwen as leverage, Adrien forces Samantha to hack her way into an FBI database and locate a woman hidden in the Witness Protection Program. In a race against time, Samantha must break free of her kidnappers, save her daughter, and foil Adrien's plot to hunt down and kill the witness. Possible scene coming in this film...just started production. Robby =============================================== I'll remind everyone. Don't mention ages in these cases |

I've read about this Meredith Viera scene over the years. I personally don't think it ever happened - urban legend stuff maybe - but I'd loved to be proved otherwise. Don't know about your other girl Wentworth - but she's listed in the database. I think it's unlikely someone would have been taping this kind of show just for starters, over something like CSI,24, or Charmed - my opinion is you'll never get to see it, which is a bummer. One wonders how may other gems have gone 'lost in space' - who knows? |

---- Of course, my reference was to "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", which in its long run generated only two (VERY) minor Database entries for MTM, despite some possibilities which came to MY mind: * A thief (or industry spy) stumbles upon Mary Richards, who's working late at the office. Ted Baxter, preening in front of his dressing room mirror, is too self-absorbed to hear Mary's frustrated mmmphs for help just a couple doors away. * A burglar *somehow* gets by Carlton the Doorman, and Mary is left chair-tied. Good thing Rhoda Morgenstern has a key to Mary's apartment, and FINALLY is going to return that cup of sugar she "borrowed" two weeks ago. |

This is certainly the show that I remembered but these are not the pics - in these pics there are VERY FEW with the cuffs visible, there were more. So, the search continues, but thanks for the input so far. |
Sunday February 26 18:28:07 2006 An American Haunting |
Anyone else seen the trailer for this? Caught it at the cinema today.
In one scene a young woman is curled up in bed under a blanket.laid on the corner of the bed are a couple of lengths of white rope. Given the plot of the movie it's just possible the ropes there to hold her down for an exorcism. Just speculation on my part though. |

Good news- the Ali Wentworth scene isn't lost in space. I taped it myself and have a quicktime file of it (about 4.5mb). It actually is a very cute scene. I'd be glad to email it to someone who would post it online. It used to be in the boundsingers yahoo group, but that group seems to be defunct. |

That one wasn't a problem. It was syndicated, and showed at different times and even went into reruns. Many people have the scene, clips were available at various times. |

Blindfolded, hands behind her back, on the floor. Later gets up, and you can see her tied hands as she wills (?) herself free (hey its a dumb show about witches). Nothing to get too excited about... |
