See, I'm thinking more of a bondage situation for Ashley Massaro, rather than Trish. Remember 2 things: 1-Ashley is right now injured so a bondage wheelchair scene could be possible and 2-Mickie James is jealous of the attention that Ashley is getting from Trish so that might be more plausible than another Trish B & G scene. |

Wednesday March 15 01:09:12 2006 Sprint Commercial |
Has anyone else seen this new Sprint commercial? It sells your standard cell phone claim that you can now talk anytime. Anyways, the commerical features a cute brunette looking around with a blue tape gag over her mouth as she looks around. The tape is torn off (nice sound effect btw) and she smiles. The annoying thing about the commercial is that it is shot with this split screen technique so you only see the left half of the cutie's face. Then again, a quick adspot showing gaggage is always a nice little surprise. I will try to capture it and post some caps on my yahoo group. Buenas noches a todos

Nothing in the photo or words on the ad, but in the written description two pages earlier it says "Bones goes from pursuer to pursued when she becomes the target of a gunman. It was bound to happen." Appropriate choice of words. |

Wednesday March 15 04:53:57 2006 Those of You Hoping for a Scene with Michelle Rodriguez... |
Maybe I was the only one who had a thing for her...
Anyways, I was flipping channels, and she was on Carson Daly's crapfest talkshow. I wasn't paying much attention, but at one point, he asked her about how she is known for "tough chick roles." She answered with the following (This isn't word for word, it's the the gist of what she said): "I've been offered the role of the 'girlfriend' and the 'girlfriend who gets captured'...there's the 'girlfriend' the 'girlfriend who gets captured...' There's something about the 'captured' part that doesn't sit well with me." Not exactly her saying "I'll never be tied up!!!" or a guarantee that she'll never be a damsel in distress, but it's pretty close. Oh well. |

Wednesday March 15 05:01:35 2006 Tied and True Tales updated (stories, links) |
Our first update for several weeks… well, almost – Melai has had to return home (can you hear my sigh, folks?) because her temporary visitor visa was about to expire and we didn’t want her to go on our wonderful Immigration Department’s blacklist for over-staying… Saying goodbye and being apart again (even temporarily) has been harder than I can ever describe. Melai and myself are more in love than ever – and for those who missed our last announcement on TTT, we’re also now engaged to marry! Anyway, it’s back to the usual routine with another update featuring heaps of stories (including more fiction from Brian Sands) and a collection of new Links – with a strong damsel-in-distress flavour! Next week, I’ll begin posting more picture galleries
As usual, click on the link to find out what’s new at http://www.tied-and-true-tales.com or navigate straight to our Updates page at: http://www.tied-and-true-tales.com/updates.htm |

Wednesday March 15 17:51:48 2006 Sweet Gwendoline - the movie |
What if some Hollywood producer went mad and decided that the John Willie masterpiece would make a great blockbuster (a splendid comic-book adaptation!)?
If that were the case, who would be your fantasy casting? I, for one, can't get out of my mind Heather Graham as the Sweet damsel. Maybe Zeta-Jones as the countess, but what about U69? What do you think? |

I did like the metal collar and cuffs on the one female Cylon in prison in the last ep of the first season, but I haven't seen much along those lines since. A shame, but not suprising. (The surprise is that they thought about futuristic bondage tech at all for that ep.) |

Yes, but my point is to choose current so-called A-list actresses and actors, like for a normal blockbuster. And besides, the idea is that this film would be rather faithful to the book, unlike Jaeckin's oeuvre. Just as an afterthought, the casting would change dramatically, I think, according to the "tone" of the movie: camp kinky comedy? adventure movie? dark, sleek thriller? |

Wednesday March 15 19:07:46 2006 Cover Up |
I'm slowly going through my old VHS collection and digitizing it. I got one done today that I haven't seen floating around all that much. I thought I would post it. It's Jennifer O'Neill from the 80's TV series, Cover Up. Because these VHS tapes are ancient, the quality is less than stellar but hey, at least I edited out the putz. :D
The file is 2 mb, WMV format, zipped. Enjoy! |

Wednesday March 15 20:13:13 2006 Happy Anniversary |
Another year gone, already?
Once again, the Ides of March roll around. On this day nine years ago, this site was officially launched when this message was posted to usenet: I have started up a page dedicated to discussion on the topic of bondage scenes from mainstream media. The page doesn't have a lot to it yet (I only worked on it for a few hours so far), but it does have forums for posting about trades, VCR alerts, and general discussion. This is not a porn page, there aren't any graphics (at the moment), and I'm not selling anything. I just want to have a place for people interested in a specialized subject to communicate. I'd be happy if you'd check it out, and please feel free to give me some feedback, either by email or posting a message on the discussion page. Happy anniversary to all of you! As always, that's because YOU make this page what it is. |

I mean, most of the DiD sites from the early days are long gone... Happy Anniversary, indeed!!! Thank you Brian, for setting up this platform for DiD and bondage enthusiasts ( I also am a big fan of the archived e-zines ). Along with the House of Bondage Forums, Filou's Damsels in Distress, Jeb's Adventure Bound and The Ropeville Chronicles, your website is my favorite DiD related site on the whole world wide web. Keep up the good work. I'd also like to thank other posters for keeping this place alive ( I'm more of a lurker here most of the time I guess ). Traveller |

Thanks for another great year here Brian. Without your continued efforts in our community, the void would be unbearable. She is smoking hot. But I thought just the opposite; I think she is intriqued by the idea. She said the same thing twice ("captured") and it sounded very awkward (plus, she brought it up); I really thought she was going to say tied up (as in Evangeline Lily's scene on Lost). There is something on that girl's mind. |

I think it's a great idea but don't get your hopes up; I suspect there is hardly anyone in Hollywood who even knows who John Willie is and even fewer who want to make a film of his work. Jaeckin's film had nothing in common with Willie's strip and that was sad. Hollywood (independent Hollywood that is) is more likely to make a movie about Willie's life a la Betty Paige than they are to make a movie about an (obscure) comic fetish heroine. Which is disappointing considering the ultra violent graphic novels that are commonly made into films these days. |

Wednesday March 15 22:26:25 2006 The Notorious Bettie Page |
>>The style section of this week's NY Times Magazine features Gretchen Mol as Bettie Page in several photos. The text before the pics mentions Mol at one point spitting a hard rubber ball out of her mouth to chat with someone in the film.
I was sure someone other than me had seen this film and reported on it here long ago already. Oh well, here goes. I saw it 6 or 7 months ago, and there are several scenes of interest I'll try to recall from memory. The scene mentioned above is the recreation (with Mol) of the very famous Bettie photoset (with her tied spreadeagle in jungle bikini with a ball gag), with her having a conversation with John Willie while he ties her. There are several other recreations of "loop" films and photoset shots (bondage, spanking and other fetishes), with a few with Gretchen as the bondagette, and some with her as the domme. All very cute stuff (and very hot to see Gretchen - who is stunning as Bettie) get the treatment more than once. |

For cleave gag fans at least in the last fifteen or so minutes. The bad guy has her prisoner near the end but with her hands tied behind her back she manages to kick his butt until he's able to knock her out with his gun. When we return she's in the position in the pic. Some good closeups and a little uumphing from her. Should please Emily Deschanel fans though I would have preferred an otm gag. |
