sears catalog
Does anyone remember a post a few years ago concerning bondage in a sears catalog? It involved models in leotards being tied up in one of their mid-80's catalogs. Can anyone confirm this and nail down which specific edition?

Gretchen Mol interview for Underground Online - April 13, 2006
For fans of actresses "talking about it", go to page 2 of the interview, where the question is:

UGO: You talked about getting into her mind. Can you talk about getting into her boots and ball gag? I just mean, being naked is one thing, but being tied down and whatnot is something very different. What was that like?

GRETCHEN: Well, as I said, I looked at those photographs and... There always seemed to be a wink, a twinkle behind her eye. It didn't seem to have the darkness that one might think. When you look at pictures today, there certainly is that darkness in the world of S&M, so I didn't feel that this is what they were doing. When you look at those images there is such a playful innocence in them, at least the way Bettie did it. Sort of like, "Hey, come on in, enjoy, it's okay." She gave everyone permission.

The Dragon and the Hawk
This direct-to-video release has some of the worst reviews I've ever read posted to its Amazon listing.

Nonetheless, it seems to have at least one scene (image linked), and possibly more. The actress in this one appears to be named Jamie Shoup.

Gallic Gor
The link is to a French-language page about John Norman's Gor novels. The cover reproductions are from various international editions, and include many I've never seen before.

I asked the same question on this board a few months ago, and here is the response I got:

"As best as I can recall, and this was over 20 years ago, YIKES!, it was a summer catalog in either 81, 82, or 83. But the link below might help us locate this HOLY GRAIL."

All the catalogs in question are currently on eBay, so if somebody knows for sure which one is THE one, that would be great!

Attar the Merman

This reminds me of a paperback I saw in a public library many, many years ago, during my adolescence. It was part of a series featuring a character called Attar the Merman. The cover was rather salacious and delectable, featuring a beautiful woman with aquamarine skin and blonde hair, bound and gagged. She was gagged with what appeared to be bandages wound around her mouth, and her eyes were demurely closed. The hero, the eponymous merman, was in the process of rescuing her, about to cut her bonds with a large diving knife. I believe the paperback was the second book in the series.
Has anyone ever seen this paperback, or heard of the series?

Am I the only one who is not anxiously awaiting this release? I mean yes the Bettie Page story is meaningful and one that should be put to celluloid, but aren't we all expecting bondage shots? And I'm sure we'll get a few. But really, isn't this page about finding bondage in unexpected places? I'm thinking that this will be very anti-climactic. I hope I'm proven wrong.
