I was hoping after she (Veronica) escaped any treatmet that she would go down to the room & find her find B & G. No such luck. Here's a question: the future of this show is up in the air with the pending WB/UPN merger. Would anybody miss this show if the new network didn't pick it up? Me I say yes. Kristen Bell is VERY easy on the eyes. |

Wednesday May 10 01:14:57 2006 Criminal Minds scene |
Lead female cop (Lola something) gets at least handcuffed face down, hands behind, while on vacation in Wednesday's season finale (9 p.m., CBS). Later, she's targeted and possibly kidnapped as bait. Sign on wall says to fellow cop "save her." |

Kristen Bell is VERY easy on the eyes. She is, and I like knowing that it's out there, despite the lack of DiD potential and the sense that it would be a lot better with the addition of, you know, vampires or something. Leaving it at that, since this is not a TV criticism forum, |

This is one of the worst f---ing shows on tv. i tape it just in case because it's always the one time you don't watch that something will happen, although very unlikely for this waste of a program. |

Wednesday May 10 06:02:45 2006 Hope from Days of our Lives gets handcuffed and leg ironed |
For the Australian viewers out there you might be interested to know that today 10/5/06 Ch 9 finally showed the first episode of potentially many on Days of our Lives showing Hope kidnapped.
Her hands are cuffed in front and a chain is leading down to her leg irons. Can anyone from the U.S. confirm when these episodes were shown in the states? We seem to be a few years behind the U.S. in screening episodes for this show. I've recorded the show from digital TV so if anyone wants the video or vidcaps they can contact me directly. |

If this show lasts five years, you may, repeat may get a minimal full treatment scene with K Bell. But then again Buffy lasted 7 and SM Geller never really came close.
Also given the current climate of TV critics always lamenting the Women in jeopardy shows, (as though it is a sin to have any show with a DID in it) I think we will be headed into a drought of good full trreatment scenes for the future |

Well, Wavy, I gotta say, kudos to you and your consultants! I've got the software and the process in place, and it works just fine. Files now on my drive and playing easily. The process itself is a little clunky, involving a few mouse clicks each time, but otherwise--super! BTW: I wasn't able to download an appropriate player from the download URL you posted. However, using that URL I went to directly to the software developer's site: http://www.videolan.org/ and found an even newer version of the software. That downloaded just fine, and that's what I've been using. I also found that this new player plays some older, previously unplayable files that I had. But I've still got some Shockwave files that, despite having the player for it, won't play, and this .flv player won't play them either. Any suggestions? Again, much thanks. A real contribution. I hate Youtube! Regards, Dannysuling |

Only last week people were posting about the *wealth* of DiD-scenes we've enjoyed lately, & again with the pessimism. Veronica Mars isn't Nancy Drew, & she *certainly* isn't Daphne Blake, & *that's* why the chance of a world-class, full treatment, squirm & m'mmpfh scene for Veronica is low. The producers know what they're doing, & it isn't a homage to John Willie. Will Pepper Dennis be B&G'd in a comic situation before the season's through? Maybe, but my money's on her being bound only; no gag. Why? Is it those pesky critics? The mythical Femi-NAZIs? Far-right back-to-the-50's "religious" nut cases? *NO*! Pepper can't engage in snappy patter if she's gagged, & snappy patter is what the show is about. |

The producers were hardly going to portray an underage character in bondage that they know very well is fetishistic. Certain things had to happen before that could even be a possibility, and I think they accomplished those things last night. Veronica is now a legal adult, she’s going off to uni, and she was rescued last night by her boyfriend, rather than her father. This last item is important. If she’s rescued by her boyfriend, then a DiD scene, which everybody quietly knows is kinky, can be spun as serving a romantic storyline. |

I'd consider Veronica having regular sex and waking up in her boyfriend's bed last season and this season plenty adult. Actually, outrageous that UPN allows this slutty behavior from a high school female (granted, mid-20s in real life) in high school to be having sex. Great example for the high schoolers out there. Sleep with your boyfriend as a junior in high school. Be just like Veronica Mars. We've all been taping shows long enough to know the total crap ones like "Veronica Mars" and "Crossing Jordan" will always be on TV, just hopefully not long. Shows like "24," "Criminal Minds," "Alias," "Profiler", etc. more than make up for the bad ones. Like most things, they usually even out. |

-that this be deemed on-topic enough to avoid being bicycle-kicked to Valhalla, but if I don't ask anyone here, who am I gonna ask?
It just so happens that someone near and dear to me-and to many of you who've hung around here a while-has a birthday coming up (never mind which one). Anyway, this person-whom to avoid embarrassing we won't identify-has all of a sudden started fixating on, of all things, the video iPod. Which prompts me to ask whether this person, or any person whose interests (ahem, ahem) correspond with ours would find such a gift particularly useful. I know that scene-rich "Lost" and not-so-scene-rich "Desperate Housewives" are available as play-for-pay podcasts, and I think I heard today that Fox is about to jump into the mix, which may offer some more possibilities. I was kind of thinking, though, about whether this thing could be used as an alternate viewing method for an existing collection. Let's say someone wanted to digitize their library of videotape clips, or maybe convert their home-burned compilation DVDs into do-it-yourself podcasts. Feasible? Anyone doing it now? And should Herr Jackboot graciously grant us leave to briefly ponder this here, let us show our gratitude for his magnaminity and his benificent rule by avoiding in-depth discussion of the gory technical details on this page. I've provided an e-mail address for that. Please be so kind as to use it should you feel the need to elaborate for more than a sentence or two. I hear the weather in Valhalla is just awful this time of year. |

Did you see it in threaters or tv?
Also, on page, you see mom and wife tape gagged and looks like Ms. Detmer (Yes). Maybe Rachel Hunter got the cleave? |

No. If the plot doesn't call for it, it won't happen, simple, case closed, end of story. Rants are silly on both sides of the fence. |

Wednesday May 10 22:55:57 2006 Law & Order Season Finale |
Looks like the actress that plays the assistant DA might be the one shown getting duct-tape gagged in the previews for the season finale next week (I heard she quit afterwards). Looks like some others shown in a similar predicament meet an unhappy ending. |

Those who lurk or post here long enough will see all sorts of "conspiracy theory" reasons put forward when a scene doesn't deliver. And it seems that every time someone reads an interview in which some actress says she doesn't want to get stuck with trivial girlfriend-in-peril parts, "radical feminism" rears it's ugly head. Rants *are* silly. |

And yes there also seems to be quite a few woman shown with wrap around tape gags with plastic bags on their heads. They look dead already but their might be more. Either way its a must record next week. |
