> As soon as I saw "Richard Crenna", the fog lifted. Crenna starred in a series of TV movies with the same character (Frank Janek) & supporting cast. I
remember them being pretty entertaining (as crime dramas, *not* as DiD dramas). If you check the imdb (http://imdb.com/name/nm0001077/), you'll find *seven* Janek made-for-TV movies between 1985 & 1994. I just checked the imdb "Internal Affairs" page (http://imdb.com/title/tt0095376/) & the memories *really* flooded back. *Kate Capshaw* was in the cast, & I remember watching & hoping Kate would *finally* get a DiD-scene with a gag. ---- You're making those memories flood back for me, as well. The "Internal Affairs" TV-movies (including "The Red Spider") pop up on cable TV from time-to-time -- perhaps it was last on the Court TV channel? |

Mr. Raffish has clips in Quicktime format available at his new site some free and tons more for a nominal monthly fee. Would they be viewable on an iPod device? |

...& speaking of bondage being used as a marketing ploy, check out the cover of the new Laurell K. Hamilton novel: "Danse Macabre (an Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Novel)". It's due out in US bookstores on 27 June.
I don't follow the Anita Blake series, but I get the impression it's heavy on the Gothic Romance (& sex with Handsome Monsters) & not particularly DiD-ish. Anyway, the curious can read the first three chapters at the URL below. Hmm... sounds like a good series for Oxygen or Lifetime. :-) |

Wednesday June 14 11:11:42 2006 Re: World Cup Football- Humour |
I'm going to post this here for any other lurking Canucks & Northern Yanks to get a crack at:
They put a web-address on for that one channel of the 3 that started airing for the World Cup Football matches. Checked and it from Germany. *Yay!* Finally can send the German boys a scene they don't "find funny" because it's dubbed! ;-) The scene shown + their listings, favouring --- Record number: 8238 Title: Die Drei Medium: TV Series Actress: Katja Woywood Description: Episode: "Der Zeuge der Anklage" (1.11) The detectives' latest assignment is the protection of Maria (Katja Woywood) whose father is a key witness in court. But Maria and one of her male bodyguards get kidnapped. They are held captive in a bedroom of an abandoned building, tied back to back with rope. Their hands are tied behind their backs, their feet tied too. The guy breaks a mirror and cuts first his and then her hands free with a piece of glass. When she unties her feet, we can see that the film crew did an excellent job there: It takes her a while to free herself. It seems that Ms. Woywood is one of Germany's regular Damsels in Distress, but once more she evades the gag in this scene. She is wearing a light blue suit. Scene occurs about halfway into the episode. ========================================== There another scene for this series. The site has it listed for 5:45pm again tonight. I personally have it for Rogers box #629 One Caveat, those 3 (other one Korea?) start with shows appearing to have potential, but break back to the football humour. Here is the web-site got from that Rogers 629 http://www.prosiebensat1welt.com if you want to look through it and see if recognise something mentioned over on Robs forum before this ends. |

Wednesday June 14 14:48:16 2006 Humanic shoe ad |
Hello
I think this site is great. Always wanted to contribute and I finally found something new. http://www.humanic.at/images/tvspots/mpg/2005_30.mpg It is a shoe ad where a girl gets handcuffed to a bed. Enjoy |
Wednesday June 14 15:24:24 2006 Slaves to the market |
My personal favorite lying cover is "Time Served", a women-in-prison movie starring Catherine Oxenberg. The cover drawing shows a woman's face with her handcuffed hands raised in a praying gesture. Those manacled hands easily fill 2/3 of the cover.
Well, guess what? Not only is nobody handcuffed in the movie, the guards don't even carry handcuffs. In fact, this is the most amiable prison in the history of penology. The average day-care center is boot camp compared to this place. We DO get to see Oxenberg topless twice, the second time pole-dancing, which is not negligible, but not a frame of bondage. |

Wednesday June 14 17:10:49 2006 Don't quite understand |
Don't quite understand why my post on trades yesterday was deemed off was deleted unless the address was too long. I was just offering videos(of which I can't describe them all because that would take too much space and bandwidth)if they want them and asking that any who can to return some. Nothing different then thw weekly advertisements of the usual web sites here. So here it is again and if I'm in the wrong once more then delete me and I'll give up posting it. It's alot of people's loss though.
Search for bondagefan 455 on youtube for those interested. |

If you choose the "Get Info" menu item, it should tell you which video codec the clip uses, and then you just need to dig it up online and install it. If you're referring to my clips, I've used two codecs over the years. My older clips use 3ivx, an early MPEG-4 codec that needs to be downloaded and installed explicitly. My newer clips use H.264, which is installed automatically with QuickTime 7. Download links for both are on my homepage. |

I don't see why not, though I haven't been able to verify this personally, since I bought my latest iPod *just* before they came out with the video-compatible ones. Grrr. Also bear in mind that almost all of the clips on my site are in the older 3ivx format, including some of the "new" ones that I actually made last year. I'm quite certain that those will *not* work on an iPod, since it's not one of the standard QT codecs. You'd need to convert them over to H.264 with QuickTime Pro or somesuch. |

I think the Moderator explained that the video you had linked was deleted by YouTube for violating their TOS. If the video was deleted, then the link itself is no good so its pointless to leave an invalid link up. |

Somewhere back down the road I failed to catch what the above abreviation is referring to. When I first saw it I thought it was referring to Turner Classic Movies, but after seeing further posts I'm assuming thats not what it's short for. |
