Hey guys, I caught the SoapNet re-broadcast of Friday's US airing. The gal gets a nice black leather gloved handgag at the end of the episode, so the fireworks should begin in earnest this week. |

---- Thanks, Mad Dan. My recollection was that 3 or 4 years ago, celebrity bondage photomanipulations were available from a number of websites and artists, a few with frequent updates. Now, "active" sites are hard-to-find. Not all Internet changes are wonderful... |

Sunday July 30 06:55:08 2006 The Man from U.N.C.L.E. DVD status |
From my local newspaper's "Celebrity Q&A" column by Jay Bobbin of Zap2It:
Q: Will one of my all-time favorite shows, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ever be released on DVD? A: That could be closer to happening in the U.S. (Some of the movies made out of multipart "U.N.C.L.E." episodes have been available on disc overseas). Recently, one video company said it would be issuing the complete first season of the spy show this summer... but that was squashed when a rival firm, Warner Bros., announced it was the actual owner of the home-video rights to the series, which was produced originally by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. In a recent online chat, Warner executives said they hope to release the show on DVD, but that won't happen in 2006. |

Sunday July 30 12:23:33 2006 Darwaza Bandh Rahko |
Previews for a new Bollywood movie titled "Darwaza Bandh Rahko" show a pretty Indian woman (Isha Sherwani??) kidnapped, bound, and gagged.
On the Asian Variety Show there was a trailer showing her being removed from a sack. She is cleavegagged. Below is a link to promotional wallpaper showing her OTM gagged. |

It's a fairly long trailer at 2min 26secs. You see the girl cleavegagged once near the beginning and you see her get handgagged, with a shot of her hands tied in front, near the end. I might have missed any 'blink and you'll miss it' scenes due to the crappy quality of the video. |

Sunday July 30 12:49:58 2006 The Last Trimester |
Caught the tail end of this flick on Lifetime last nite.
In the last 15 minutes Chandra West has her hands tied behind the back with black cord. Shots of her trying to cut the ropes with a knife and eventually freeing herself. No gag. Perp makes a comment about earning his scout badge in knots as she struggles. Added it to DB. Also found 2 photos of her b&g in "White Noise" at her website: http://www.chandrawest.net/photogallery/thumbnails.php?album=10 |

After adding that db entry above, I noticed there is no entry for White Noise.
The 2 stills show Chandra West wrists taped to chair arms, duct tape gagged, and wearing a large metal head restraint. Anyone seen this movie who could provide some info? |

Good news indeed - to own the Brain Killer Affair on dvd as and when they do finally get around to this will be excellent. My absolute fave U.N.C.L.E. scene with the delightful Yvonne Craig. |

Sunday July 30 16:11:30 2006 New Robin Hood series |
The BBC has been filming a new Robin Hood series in Hungary, for UK transmission in the Autumn.
Maid Marian is played by the rather mmmphogenic Lucy Griffiths. One can but hope.... |

At the time, recall (Keaton?) calling out "Mary!", and used that to confirm ID Susanne Ristic" from Canuck's Monday January 10 11:06:39 2005 Discussion Post http://brianspage.com/showday.php?fname=discussion%2Fhtml%2F009-2005 If still disagree after watching? we'll sort her on DB Corrections |

Sunday July 30 17:38:54 2006 Very awkward question |
I found a clip on YouTube that I *think* is from a commercial bondage video... I would really like a copy of the complete original video. I can't find any information as to where it is from. Can anyone recomend an appropriate website where I could post a link and this matter could be disscussed without going off-topic? |

If so, where did you learn it, and what is its etymology? |

Hadji wrote:

Starting with "merinthophobia", the fear of being bound, I coined "merinthogenic", a logical progression. Wanting to include gags, I looked for the Greek for "gag", which I found only in modern Greek, as "fimotron", the middle syllable being pronounced as in "motor". The convention in scientific words being to use phi rather than f, I assembled the root "merinthophimotro-", to which may be added "genic", "phobia", "philia", etc. I'm not sure whether it would be better with a hyphen between merintho and phimotro, as in "sado-masochism." These being something of a mouthful, I shortened the root to "mmmpho-". Once a word has been coined, it of course exists. Whether or not it becomes accepted and enters circulation, is another matter. |

Hey Dan,
I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your site. You have some very nice work there and enough of it so that I have to make a return trip at a later date. ;-) Thanks for all the goodies! |
