| I may be wrong but didn't a similar scene to this one occurr in this telenovela a month or so ago? This sounds distinctly similar to the one that I wasted time taping a month or so ago. Is this a different scene? or a case of a soap being run at different times in different areas of the country?> |

| Not only one of my favourite scenes of all time but it must be a fairly unique tape gag. Can't say i've seen a similar bit of tape used before or since or can someone correct me on that? |

| posted this on robs site and thought i'd post it here for people to check out as well. Hope its appropriate. i found this from the excellent 'more bad news' from the comic strip tv series on channel 4. Its the mock up video for 'warriors of gengis khan' which features a women (probably Susie Ann Watkins) chained and tied to a post (no gag unfortunately) in a very short revealing dress

One of my favorites as well, and I agree on the unique tape-gag. Earlier in the movie, Bridet Fonda is taping a hole in her vents and she has the same roll of tape in her hands. Never seen that style before or since. |

Its frequently getting held back from general release due to the controversy surrounding it, but its played in a few cities and is available on DVD in Australia. I think the latest release date is supposed to be sometime in the fall, but not sure if it's going to be in theaters or straight to DVD. As far as Laura Prepon getting gagged during a consensual sex scene, I had posted that its a definite possibility since I have photos of the real Karla bound and gagged so I'd say theres some credibility to the poster who said there is such a scene in the movie. |

Thanks for the info. Looked on IMDB (should have done that in the first place, d'oh!). It lists Canada and US release dates in September; also lists next to Canada as DVD premiere. I found this photo. I'm posting the page in homepage in case it doesn't come through. |

The more "realistic" gags (lots of packing, thick cleave, etc.) seem to me to hide too much of the damsel's mouth & lips & sometimes even makes them look funny! |

And it is indeed photogenic, especially since it is Laura Prepon. What I love about cleave gags, dental floss variety or not, is it gives the wearer ample opportunity show us a bit of emoting by doing some nice full facial expression as well as varieties of lip and teeth clenching around the gag. Lip clenching a cleave looks especially exciting & erotic when those lips are as pouty as Ms. Prepon's. |

Looks like they got the whole UPN Bargain Pack. I've got just about all of those scenes, but the signal quality I was getting of UPN at the time wasn't that great. It'll be nice to upgrade these scenes. All Souls is another one included in the deal. I've only seen stills of this scene of Cecile Cristobal from the episode, "One Step Closer to Roger". I thought I'd never get a chance to see it. |

The same or a very similar tape is available in the UK, for automotive use. It consists of flat, narrow bundles of acrylic filaments or fibreglass (the stripes)in an acrylic adhesive on a clear plastic (also acrylic?)film, and it's very sticky, conformal and durable. In the 1970s my brother fixed a rip in his Fiat 500's cloth sun roof with it; the repair held in the British climate for several weeks! It stays put on Ms Fonda, too, through many vigorous jaw movements in the scene where she is lying on the floor. |

I won't ask why, but I've got to say thin cleaves are not sexy because they don't really do anything. I agree there is a line where overkill is no longer sexy; but the balance of tight, snug, effective, and yes, thicker cleaves, when it's right, that is, with a balance between effectiveness and beauty, is hot. |
