They'll probably slap a PG rating on this film and leave that part out. | I ran across a tape of scene from the X-Files' Roadrunner ep where Scully gets captured and tied to a bed face down in a spreadeagle because her captors are planning to put a sluglike alien up her butt. (OK, in the small of her back, but really folks, that seems unduly invasive, all things considered.) What's more, Scully does some pretty good writhing because she doesn't want the alien slug put up ... er, in her. (They also gag her when she starts screaming.OTM with wadding.)
Anyway, it occurred to me that I have never seen a scene like it on TV anywhere. Oh, there are scenes of women in spreadeagles on TV, but no FACE-DOWN spreadeagles. So, I'm wondering ... are there any other mainstream TV scenes of women tied face down in a spreadeagle? Is this the only one? You would be the guys who would know. I can only think of one other mainstream scene period, and that's from the movie "Lipstick," which I've never scene but the caps I've seen show Margaux Hemingway tied face down on a bed. So, any other mainstream movie scenes as well? Also, if a woman can touch her toes together, it's not really a spreadeagle even if the ropes are secured to opposite corners of the bed. Oh, yeah, the Roadrunner scene isn't nearly as hot as my description makes it sound. They HAD to screw it up somehow, this being TV, so what they did was, put Scully on a black or deep navy bedspread while wearing deep navy blue jeans. And they underlit the scene. A lot. There's a nice overhead shot that lets you see how Scully is secured, and that's where she does the great butt wiggling, but that's it. |

| In this period, on an italian channel, runs a french tv series named DOLMEN. The star of the tv-series is a faboulous french actress: Ingrid Chauvin.

Makes the damsel look far more helpless and vulnerable, plus it shows off her butt nicely. No wonder it's so rarely used. At least this scene had some decent lighting. That said, I'll take the underlit Scully scene. It had some great butt waggling. The Geek scene had none. |

| When I was a but a child about a hundred years ago I recall, yes to this day, watching an episode of The Price Is Right in which one of the models, who I believe is the one who sued Bob Barker not too many years ago for harassment, was in a sketch in which her hands were bound behind her and the idea was that she had to punch out paper cut-outs and pull out pieces of paper representing certain sums of money that the contestant would either win or bet in order to continue, obviously with the hope of winning more.
I distinctly remember her coming out in a cape, which one of the other models removed to reveal her bound wrists, while Johnny Olsen overdubbed with (and time has taken its toll here)..."(so and so model) with her hands bound tightly behind her back...". That's pretty much all I remember of Johnny's commentary. I know this is not Price is Right scene creep..this actually happened. Do any of you older guys/girls remember this at all? This, to me, is truly a Holy Grail. Then again, I was the one who asked about the old "Spies a'Poppin'" commercial and even though no one seemed to have a clip of that scene they did have a copy of the actual game showing the "beautiful blonde.." tied up, so my feeling is that if anyone can recall this you guys out here can. |

| I think you may be remembering the scene wrong or have the wrong game show. The way you describe the scene doesn't make sense. The models are never part of the game. I've probably seen hundreds of episodes of the Price is Right through the many years it has been on and the models are NEVER part of the game. All they do is smile in front of the products.
In the showcase they might act out in some skit and in fact just last year one of the models, Gabrielle Tuite was briefly gagged during one of these skits but I just can't imagine that it would have happened like you suggested. |

I'm not sure about the Monday airing, but tomorrow, "Hunters" will air on Spike at 5pm Central. There still is not an alert for the episodes so I'll post one for the Sunday airing. Actually, concerning today, I looked at my satellite guide & I do not think "Hunters" even aired today at all, the original alert posting being wrong. Of the 6 episodes that aired today, the first was the pilot, the next 2 were parts of a 2-part episode, and none of the other episodes was titled "Hunters". Now I could be wrong & it DID air, but my guide showed it not showing today, but for sure Sunday (and I guess Monday so there are still a couple chance to grab it!) |

Later, after a vampire gets out of 1 side of a coffin, he opens the other side to reveal the waitress bound hands in front still but not gagged. The 2nd comes much later in the show. A very pregnant woman is single cuffed to a hospital bed. Blade rescues her by cutting the cuff with his sword. All these chains are nice, though it's sad but unsurprising to hear about how loose the cuffs are. I know that vampire stories have a strong goth following, and goths do love their bondage imagery, so I was kinda hoping for some good bondage outta the series. Sounds like they are on the right track. KM is correct. The models don't get involved in the actual games, only look pretty & point a lot. I've been watching The Price is Right for as long as I can remember & I don't remember that scene. I only remember 2 scenes from The Price is Right & both were in the Showcase Showdown. The 1st is a little fuzzy & is Holly Holstrom tied to a chair while a robber "stole" everything in the showcase. The 2nd & more clear happened earlier this year. Gabrielle Tuite was shown hands tied to a chair as a way to stop overspending. I've been looking for that quickie… |

| Dammit, I always missed those scenes! Why???
Anyway, the only TPIR scene remotely close to a DID scene I've seen recently was when Gabrielle, Rachel and Gwendolyn were blindfolded for a showcase skit. Wish I could see the Gabrielle bondage skit though. |
