Out of the commercial break it went straight to right after they evidentially ripped the gag off. Let's all hope for some deleted scenes on the DVD. On the west coast KTLA affiliate airing, they came into the show late and then the server jumped back to the beginning. I heard the clinking of Lionel's glass twice. This glitch may have caused the rest of the show to come back from breaks late, thereby clipping the scene. I would look for the scene in it's entirety on the DVD. |

I tried posting this earlier, but the dreaded parse monster reared its erroneous head.

In NY they had a 4 1/2 minute commercial break before the gag scene. After the commercials, the first frame of the close up, similar to the preview, was with a serrated knife already under the soft knit cloth gag (yes, cloth, not tape) cutting it off (all less than 1/2 second). They never showed the gag scene with the knife in front of her face as in the preview. The preview had two gag clips that were not in the show. Also, hands were cuffed in front with manacles that had a long chain but this was all so quick it didn't matter anyway. I would say the biggest rip off ever; and lately, previews cannot be trusted. |
Friday October 20 01:29:16 2006 Desperate Housewives |
I don't know if anybody has mentioned or posted this yet, but there was a quick handcuff scene on the last Desperate Housewives. The very attractive Eva Longoria got taken out of her house, hands cuffed in front, and put into a squad car.
The clip is a 2.83 mb wmv, zipped. Note: The audio on this one is very low and despite my efforts, I was unable to bring up the level (don't ask). You will have to crank your sound up a bit to hear it. Enjoy! |

Just picked up a bunch o' DVDs of the Robin Hood series starring Richard Greene. Can't recall from the recent discussion here which epidoes(s) had the scene(s)? I'm a big fan of the bondage scenes, but also an afficionado of the old Robin Hood series, and lots of other adventure shows. Please feel free to write if you'd like to start/be involved in a group for old adventure programs. Hope this isn't too far off topic. |

It's movie's title of last movie of Giuseppe Tornatore, that opens today (friday)in italians theatres. I've seen the trailer: in the movie is, sure, a great handgag-scene and a binding-bondage scene, with tapegag.

I don't think the start of the scene was clipped due to commercials...
I watched the Canadian broadcast which, to my knowledge, didn't have any technical or over-run problems. Bah, the previews raised our hopes then dashed them quite completely. I feel bad for the guy who was predicting this scene would be the next Parting Gifts. |

Friday October 20 07:28:20 2006 I Want My MTV (Bound And Gagged Mix) |
Well, yesterday wasn't a total waste. I did find a couple of classic music bondage videos on youtube.
First up is a scene I described a couple of weeks ago. This features Milla Jovovich gagged in her own video. There are several long-range shots throughout of her sitting on a chair with her mouth taped. Toward the end there is a close-up of her ripping the tape off. There is also some mummification of her and another person. Her head is wrapped up, but it's hard to tell if the cloth used is in any way wrpapped around her mouth. |

Friday October 20 10:10:39 2006 Wednesday's Criminal Minds |
Catching up on past scenes after the parsing problem ... scene on Criminal Minds showed victim tied spread-eagle with ropes to bed. Rapist had firm hand-gag on her while cops were checking the grounds outside her home. The scene screamed for an actual gag, but hand-gag fans should have been pleased. |

Raffish wrote:
> Bestest 0.1-second-long gag scene ever! Yeah, I guess so if you count gag scenes that start with the gag coming off (I also hate closed eyes, boring!!!). That's two gag episodes where ED, Lois, was not really gagged. The one where her nice white cloth gag was not shown because the camera was behind her, and then later it was around her neck, and this one, where your frame shows the only "partial" gag clip as it was shown in the actual show. I guess the single clip from the trailer where the knife is in front of her face and her eyes are opened is a real gag but it's still lame. What are the odds of Lois, and god forbid Lana, ever getting a good gag scene? I mean, how long has this show been on? Kind of reminds me of Buffy, who never got a gag scene after all those years. I guess the Willow/Dawn scene finally came through in the end. Compared to the Lois and Clark show and the original TV Superman it's clear Smallville takes a different path, super fast cuts and "implied" violence and strong women and all that. |

They showed a blonde that had the same type of gag but stuffed further in her mouth. Her head was tilled to her right as the killer (not Dexter) was taking a scalpel to the left side of her face. This blonde was younger and skinner that Denise. She didn't have her head restrained like Denise either. |

Friday October 20 13:57:00 2006 Re: Denise Crosby---Dexter (Episode 3) |
Regarding "Dexter" and Showtime, anyone who gets Charter Communications cable has a free preview of Showtime right now - and I believe it runs through the weekend, at least here in Southern California.
I've seen the episode - although I normally don't subscribe to any movie channels at all. It's a very well written and acted show overall with a truly interesting conceit, but it plays very differently than how some critics have described. However, in this episode, Denise has aged poorly in my opinion, and still has the shorter hair, which instead of spunky makes her look quite matronly. Her character's demise in the show can be interpreted as deserved. |
Friday October 20 14:14:47 2006 Las Vegas tonight |
Last of the fall season premieres finally airs tonight with "Las Vegas" at 9 p.m. on NBC. I think someone mentioned a Molly Sims kidnapping plot early in the season. Might see something in the promos at the end of the episode. |

It is from this: Record number: 11264 Title: The New Adventures of Robin Hood (1997) Medium: TV Series Actress: Judy Green, Unknown Description: Episode: "Outlaw Express" (2.9) The Youtube clip is from the beginning of the ep, and it shows the "unknown" being marched into a prisoner transport waggon. (Read the whole description in the DB) Actually the scene with Judy Green is much longer, and she is better looking IMO. |

Friday October 20 17:11:45 2006 Re: Heroes |
I don't know if this is straying too far off-topic, but I'm very dismayed about the recent news that NBC will be scaling back on it's scripted programming and replacing it with reality and game shows. Scripted programming is the heart of our source material.
I thought these past two seasons were a sign we were moving past the days of reality crap, but apparently we're circling around for another pass. This time it isn't as much about the popularity of reality and game shows, but the bottom-line dollars. How long before NBC's cost-cutting starts a cascade effect that forces other networks to follow suit and cut their scripted programinng in order to remain financially competitive? It was bad enough when the majority of scenes came from graphic shows like Law & Order, but even those could be in jeopardy once they've run their course. It's saddens me to think how this may reshape the landscape of television and not just from our unique interest's standpoint. TV was just starting to get good again. |

TV was just starting to get good again. Every now & then a "news item", whether it be Political or Entertainment seems to pop out of nowhere & gather steam as if by magic. What exactly is the Big Change that's happening at NBC? Running cheap programming (like "Reality" shows) early in primetime is hardly anything new. Some day the New Media thing will shake itself out, the pilot system for getting new shows on the air will *finally* die, & the current ratings system will be recognized for the dysfunctional mess it is. The networks (or whatever takes their place) will develop new business models, & shows other than "Dancing with the Stars on Survival Island while Wrestling Singing NASCAR Drivers" will *finally* be allowed to find an audience. NBC cancelled "Surface" last year. It wasn't a Huge Hit, but it was in the black & had an audience. SciFi (an NBC company) is cancelling "STARGÅTE SG-1*. It's one their most popular shows!! ...& SciFi is a niche market to begin with. At the same time, they (SciFi) are airing a weekly WRESTLING program?? I get ragged on when I call the people in Hollywood idiots. Well, even highly intelligent, talented, & creative people can get trapped by group think & made to *act* like idiots. {sigh} |

...but for all of you who were breathlessly waiting anyway for next month's NBC broadcast of Madonna's current tour, the network has apparently traded in its signature peacock for a chicken and raised the white flag amidst withering fire from the modern progeny of the League of Decency (and since, given this site's nature, a lot of you around here are really up on your movie history and will certainly recall THOSE nice folks and what they did for us), announcing that the Material Girl's much-discussed centerpiece act won't be shown.
Maybe I'm getting old, but shooting Elvis only from the waist up half a century ago I can sort of understand today. But putting the king's X on a fully-clothed Madonna standing stock-still, pretending (and ONLY pretending, not very convincingly at that, I've heard) to be nailed to a cross? What gives? Wonder what's next-a boycott against advertisers supporting reruns of "Xena, Warrior Princess?" Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor must have rung up a couple dozen crucifixions between them. Only most of theirs were a LOT more realistic. |

Hopefully, you're right and universe will unfold as it should. I'm just remembering recent history where every channel on the big four was littered with "Survivor", "American Idol" or "Fear Factor" clones and the only other thing to watch on those channels was a sitcom (great time for sitcoms ironically) or a CSI clone. I'm not looking forward to a repeat of those days. Even though interesting shows like "Surface" got cancelled, TV has been really good this season and has been a goldmine of scenes already. The big four have been pulling me away from cable and the majority of shows I watch are now on the major networks. |

I have no love for this decision, either, but please go back and read NBC's full announcement. They said programming before 9pm will be as you described because there's supposedly no audience for dramas before then. Plus, as far as "Heroes" is concerned, it's been proving itself a surprise hit and generating a lot of much-needed buzz at NBC. |
