I just saw the previews for the episode in question. Bones & her redhaired (putz) colleague are buried in what I think is her car. No bondage. It's a "Golly, will they find them in time??" type episode. The suspense is killing me. Will the star of the show die?? <-Sarcasm.

Yeah, absolutely this is my opinion.
Some DiD scene F/F

Single Withe Female (jennifer Jason Leigh over Bridget Fonda);
Callboys (unknown over unknown, chloro);
Double Cross (unknown over Yancy Butler, chloro);
Urban Legend (Rebecca Gyllenhall over Alicia Witt);
The Lake (yasmine Bleeth over her double);
Etc., etc.
A lots of scenes from tv series and, above all, soap operas.

I don't know how you'd turn on the TV with a scene that's about to come on at a party, unless you have the show prerecorded, in which case you seem to be "setting things up." Otherwise, how can you time your party so that it happens to be going on just when a scene hits?

But on a similar note, I've been in movie theaters and noticed many times that in bondage scenes--not matter-of-fact ones, but ones that are softly lit maybe, and suggest a certain noirish erotic overtone--the audience goes dead quiet during the scene. Popcorn stops rustling, people stop whispering, etc. Have seen that many many times.

Casino Royale
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but on TV last night I saw a preview of Casino Royale, which featured a brief clip of a woman (Eva Green?) in a beautiful black dress with hands tied behind her back. She was lying down, possibly in the middle of a road. She didn't appear to be gagged, but she had her back to the camera, so she could have been tape gagged. The Bond films have been disappointing from a bondage standpoint for the most part, but looks like this one might have a nice payoff.

I've also seen this, and, I've overheard people talking about it after the fact. In fact, even people who are definitely not "into" talk about it, usually with a wry smile. It's pretty clear to me that bondage in media is one of those things, and maybe the only thing, that effects intelligent people in a particulary complex way. That is, it is intriguing, alluring, sexy, a somewhat guilty pleasure, hard to disassociate from viloence and/or pornography (for some), and, whose enjoyment of, is still taboo in our (mainstream) society. It's complicated, in other words.

I thought it was one of the best, most realistic on screen gaggings in a long while and there were many good shots of it. When was the last time you saw white cloth packing followed by white cloth over the mouth? Even in the dark on the side of the road scene you can see the packing bulging against the cloth gag. Good shot of the removal too!

Now with the white terry cloth robe belt coming up this is clearly the season of the cloth gag; so many scenes I've lost track; two (3?) already on Prison Break alone.

Now if they could just get an episode with trouble on the home front, the Unit would be my favorite show (see link).

ID help, please?
Okay, so I've just gotten this marvelous clip of "When a Killer Calls." There are three super B&G scenes, but Brian's db lists only one actress. Who are the other two?

Is the "mother" Isabella Bodner or Tara Clark?
Is the "friend" Sarah Hall or Carissa Bodner?

Anybody out there know the answers?

Title: When a Killer Calls (2006)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Rebekah Kochan

Description: This movie is a ripoff by Asylum Video of another movie, "When a Stranger Calls". There are three nice bondage scenes in it. The first is at the very beginning when a mother is abducted and ends up on the bed hogtied and cleavegagged. She's also barefoot but meets a grisly end.

About and hour into the film a babysitter (Rebekah Kochan) her friend and their boyfriends get abdcuted by a killer in the house. The friend is tied with her hands in front and cleavegagged. She also meets a grisly end.

The best scene is with Rebekah Kochan. She's chased around the house by the bad guy who finally knocks her out. When she comes to she has her hands tied over her head. She's nicely cleavegagged with a terrycloth rag or towel. She's wearing blujeans and has her ankles also nicely tied with rope over her jeans. Though she spends the entire movie wearing furry boots, for this bondage scene she is barefoot and on her tiptoes. There are several nice close-ups of both her face and feet. She spends at least fifteen minutes of the movie tied like this before she finally manages to escape with the help of her boyfriend. She runs out of the house to escape the killer inexplicably wearing those furry boots again!

Soneone posted it's from Jonathan Creek & here's a match from the DB:

Record number: 8508

Title: Jonathan Creek
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Marie Boyle

Description: Episode: "Angel Hair"

The beautiful Ms Boyle is kidnapped. Her abductors send a video tape of her to her lover. She is seen bound to a chair with rope wound around her torso.After being forced to read out a message to her lover one of her abductors gags her with a wide strip of shiny black insulating/duct tape.He then proceeds to cut off her long blonde hair.The scene is of reasonable length and well lit.It takes place mainly in middle-ground, with only a brief close-up as the camera pans in.

A variation of the scene is repeated near the end of the episode when Creek reveals how everything actually occurred.

Exactly, and that's why I wish there'd be more intelligent studies/mainstream discussions about this rather than the alarmist "Oh, there a bunch of sickies who want to hurt/objectify women" tripe you typically see. And I predict that as the world gets more dog-eat-dog and the necessity of tolerating more phony crap and lying in our everyday lives becomes greater--the more emotional abuse we have to take to make a buck, in other words--the greater the interest in this sort of thing will become as a sort of release.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the first producer to make a reality-TV bondage-type show is going to make a fortune.

Once a long time ago in the TV room of my college fraternity I was watching Dragnet, the movie from 1968, where, at the beginning the camera lingers on the villain photographing the bound, gagged and pleading model.

One of the other guys in the room piped up, "They shouldn't allow that kind of thing on TV! It gives people ideas!!"

The guy was generally a jerk, so I didn't bother to tell him it was too late -- the ideas were already there.

It will take a major mainstream media attitude shift for bondage to become socially acceptable.

Maybe if Joan and Melissa gushed about how the ballgags showed off their cheekbones and the elbow ties acentuated their cleavage as some of the major female TV and movie divas walked the red carpet in outfits accessorised by Jim Hunter/David Knight/Jay Edwards/Seether/et al it would speed things along.

Fifty years ago calling somebody a homo, or outing him/her, effectively ruined that person's career. Now people of that persuasion [as long as they aren't pedophiles] are idolized and venerated by the mainstream media.

So maybe by the time our great-grandkids are participating here, there really well be 'The Bondage Channel' on mainstream cable :-)

Jacot wrote:

There are a lot of things in this world that people enjoy in private that will never be mainstream, and erotic bondage fantasies may be one of them. But that doesn't mean artists won't try to "sneak it in" so to speak, just the way many formerly taboo subjects have snuck into cable since it's inception.

So I don't think there needs to be a major mainstream media attitude shift at all for us to see much more, and more interesting, bondage related material in the mainstream. There is plenty there already, it's just that no one acknowledges the interest or exploits it in an obvious manner. Those scenes with the pretty heroine, or the innocent female lead, tied and gagged are not there to show everyone how awful bondage is. They're there because writers, producers, actors and the audience find it interesting and exciting.

Now if you're talking about a mainstream show about bondage and how hot it is, well yeah, don't hold your breath.

But if you create a show say, about people who want to be kidnapped to act out a fantasy, well, that might happen... on cable anyway.

Well the bad news is it looks like that particular scene is very bried indeed. She's been tied up and placed in the road as a trap to force Bond to crash his car. You see a few frames of her from behind, which on close inspection reveals her wrists are bound with a thin black strap. Presumably her ankles are bound too but this is implied rather than visible. Then there's a couple of frames looking at her front from the point of view of the car bearing down on her at high speed. There's no gag for those who are bothered about such things. This part of the movie seems to follow the plot of the Ian Fleming book quite closely. In the book Bond is captured and tortured. So beware putz scenes ahead. I'm guessing our damsel remains bound so it's possible you see more of her in this state. But Bond films do have a record of letting us down on female bondage so I wouldn't hold out big hopes

Ditto. I think it's fair to say that a lot of people here overemphasize the importance of bondage in the mainstream.

Go on Wikipedia and you'll see that there are dozens, if not hundreds of various recognized sexual persuasions (some of them being far, far more bizarre than simply enjoying seeing women tied up, believe me). The mainstream doesn't really care about nor do I believe deliberately caters to any specific persuasion or fetish (well, maybe there are rare exceptions but by and large...)

Bondage may be a very well known persuasion, but I can say with confidence you'll never see it specifically and obviously embraced/catered to by the mainstream media.

No big secret. I just pay attention to this Forum. Not long ago a new site was announced here, which you can access at:

didclipsarea.ic.cz

I take this to be originating in the Czech Republic. There are three quite delightful clips there (I already expressed my thanks to the webmaster, personally, they're so good), and this scene is one of them. It's phenomenal!

Anyway, still waiting for someone to fill me in on the IDs.
