| I threw together a quick clip of the aforementioned scene. It's a 3.33 mb WMV, zipped. As mentioned in the prior post, the end of the scene is quite a downer. While they do not actually show it, those with weak constitutions may want to avert their eyes.

| Did anyone catch this episode on the That Girl marathon?
Looks like the db is awaiting an update. Recall this ep from my youth as being one of the first influences on me. Only have vague memory of it though. Probably have to wait for the DVD set to come out to see this again. Record number: 139 Title: That Girl Medium: TV Series Actress: Marlo Thomas Description: Episode "7 1/4", Part 2 (3.7) In another DiD commercial shoot, she is tied to railroad tracks, wearing a old-time heroine style white dress. Action occurs at the end of the episode. Ironically, the advertising campaign was canceled due to excessive violence. Editor Note: Possible there was another DiD scene--I think she was tied to a stake to be burned by irate Native Americans (probably called "wild Indians" at the time of broadcast!). The bound-to-the-tracks scene ended with Donald lifting her from the tracks just before the train rushed by. |

The female lead gets b&g. I would enjoy actually seeing this one - I've only seen caps. I may have to make a request on the trades page, but I won't be able to do it until early next year. This time of year is pretty busy for me, for some reason. :) |

The only thing I wish were less abundant in Asian cinema is the way guys slap women around. They seem to do that a lot in Spanish television as well. Personally, I find hitting women a huge turnoff. Once I got past that initial part of the clip though, it was awesome! |
