Not all the clips list the actresses up front. But I'm happy knowing that the info will be on the dB at some point (another thanks!). Patience is indeed an important virtue, and I do have a little of it at this point in my life. I had much the same kinds of ID-ing issues when Lazos Latinos was active. Nobody was writing entries for those clips; and although many times the actresses were identified, often the episodes were not or were (according to the IMdB) wrongly attributed. I tried to do a lot of the ID-ing work for myself, but I'm not really a fluent Spanish speaker and also not really familiar with the shows' plot lines, so I couldn't do the entries, really. Very frustrating for a collector who's got a mania for being "complete." If you happen to know of a Spanish speaker who's linked to the Forum, I'd be happy to work with this person (sharing clips, etc.) to generate good entries. Anyway, that's an offer, for what it's worth. Keep up the good work. |

| Scene continued in Monday's episode. In opening minutes, damsel has been cleave gagged again, hands still tied in front and feet taped. Sofia Milos leaves the room, and the bad guy throws her back on the sofa for some more fondling/harassment. Best line was "I've always dreamed of this moment, Andrea. Having you helpless....quiet."
Then Sofia Milos comes back in a spoils the fun. She pulls the guy over to the other side of the room. While there, the B&G damsel crawls on the floor and finds the knife. She cuts the tape off her hands and feet and tries to attack the bad guy with the knife. Sofia Milos then drills her over the head with a vase. Few minutes later, they arrive at the ransom drop. Damsel is in the back seat of the car, tied up but not gagged. Gag still around her neck. She's then carried OTS from the car and into the hideout while unconscious. She sits on the floor and stays tied up for the rest of the hour after waking up. Looked like the bad guy was going to double cross Sofia Milos, but he backed off (damn!). Series ends Tuesday night. |

At the time recall back when the Dallas show aired here, it was at night and someone in the United States recalled same. Why Dallas & Dynasty shows are current TV Series Likely source of confusion |

Yes, like telenovelas, but not exactly; telenovelas look and sound like and are generally positioned as "soaps" but I don't think My Network or the Producers of Desire and the coming flood of series like Wicked Wicked Ways and others that follow Desire, would ever position or call their shows "soap operas". It's a drama series in their minds; it doesn't look like, or compete with, nor is it programed like, "soap operas"; they (the producers) are trying to look like, and are going up against, shows like Vegas, and they're doing it in primetime. |

I started to tape it just for the hell of it. I walked back in the room as her husband showed up and was shot. The criminals were preparing to leave and they then bound Gilbert's hands behind her with black cord (maybe lampcord). Occurred in the last 15 to 20 min of the movie and lasted maybe a minute or so. Pure luck that I got it. She never got gagged. I am not sure if the one daughter had her hands tied or not. It was nice, but my opinion is different than others. Once I find the tape and rewatch it. I will add an entry summarizing the scene. |

I believe it's taken from a 1987 German movie, "Kies," but there's no entry in Brian's db, and the IMdB is not much help narrowing down who the DiD actress is: Dany Mannor? Ilse Matheis? Dorothea Moritz? To JayL's contact, Peter: can you help? Anyone else out there know more about this? |

I specifically do remember this scene from the movie version I saw. They might have cut it out of later tv versions,I don't know, but I have seen this already. |

I've only seen TV versions, but one of them was Showtime and I don't think they cut any scenes. In my version, the thugs ask Peter Fonda "have any duct tape?" and he says "sure." Next cut shows hands and feet of the three damsels being taped, with camera then shifting to Biel, who is already gagged with the thugs wrapping more duct tape around her mouth. Camera then pans to the second damsel, then the mom, who gets an apology. Never saw any shot of two damsels gagged and Biel ungagged. |

Peter, I can't say where that Yuotube poster got his/her clip from, but mine's definitely been in my library more than a few years. I didn't get it from any recent broadcast. To me (at my advanced age and hoary memory), the style of dress and haircut look exactly like the late '80s. But, then, I haven't been able to find anything on this movie anywhere but the IMdB, and what they've got is precious little (as in, "a very little, my Presssiouss...."), so who really knows what the release date is. A puzzle worth exploring, if like me you enjoy solving that kind of mystery. I'll keep investigating, and if I find out anything I'll duly post it. Thanks anyway. |

| And now.. for something completely different...
I've been working on compiling a database of True Crime/Detective magazine covers which show bound/gagged damsels for a while, and currently have a little over 600 of them listed. Of the cover scans I've got, around 400 or so are completely identified (magazine name and date/issue#), 200 or so are partially I.D.ed (magazine name only) and a handful are totally unknown. The picture below is a montage of the cover fragments that are total mysteries. If any readers here recognize any of the covers shown, or if this is your area of expertise or interest, I'd appreciate your info or correspondence.
