Maybe Lindsay Wagner can appear as the mother. She'd still look great B&G today, and we never really got a great full-treatment scene for Lindsay in that series (just the quick crate scene) or in anything else she did. |

I was 13 in 1969 so I remember these mags at the news stand and I had a friend who had 2 older brothers so at their house they had the Nazi illustrated cover stuff also. Those were mostly torture with no photos so I wasn't interested at all; plus the news stand by me didn't sell them but they did sell the Detective Mags and I distinctly remember in the late 60's a lot of the covers had gags and that filtered into the early 70's but became less frequent. They positioned in the store next to men's magazines (which were covered in modesty). By 73 they were moving away from gags and after that I lost interest. Then I noticed years later they all seemed to drop the bondage angle altogether. I'm sure, like most magazines, if their sales went down they figured it was the cover and that's why they changed; but it doesn't mean they were right, it means they thought they were right. I doubt their disappearence is connected to censorship or pornography or any complex political or social reason. They were of their time and times change. |

Say Old Man, great job on the end of the year post you did a few days ago on the year in bondage. Quite a bit of work went into that post. Yes I remember and collect the "For Men Only, Man's World, Male" and all of those titles. If the covers had included gags they would have been the best bondage illustrations ever. There are two hardcover books that tell the history of the "sweat magazines", both loaded with hundreds of full color covers. I have about two hundred of the 2600 covers, and probably won't be buying many more in the future. I have to buy regular books. Here's hoping that Taschen continues their history of Men's magazines by doing a book on the Detective magazines. I know nothing about the history of their publishing, and to have 0ne book with every cover would be something. I say it would be a best seller among the Taschen sort of books. Would enjoy hearing from you Old Man, or any one who studies magazine history and bondage illustration. |

Exact same question for the following movies: The Valley of Tears Final Move Both of these (and Saw III) were mentioned at one time as having scenes (presumeably by someone seeing them!) but none have entries (once someone here posts a verified sighting of a scene in a new movie they've seen, I add it to my "want list" until it becomes available...these films have been on my list for quite a few months now & are finally available for rent). Oh well, I guess I'll just rent 'em and see for myself. |

There was some foreign (Italian?) sci fi/horror movie called Accion Mutante that could be the one you're referring to. BTW, that New Years' post was by some gent named An Old Friend, not Old Man. |

| Looks like the scene is over. Cops busted in about 45 minutes in and the damsels are now free.
I never saw the gag scene where the brunette's upper lip is over the gag as shown in the promo. Her top button on her jeans remained undone for the episode today until the rescue. |

| The scene continued (and ended) today. The fourth woman was added to the group. For most of the episode, she was tied, but not gagged. Later on, the police showed up and rescued the damsels, shooting one of the crooks in the process. During the shootout, there was a brief closeup of the fourth woman and this time she WAS gagged. There were some other closeups throughout the episode. So, in total there were 4 women bound and gagged in this scene. The scene is over.
The main villain (the one disguised as a woman) left the scene earlier. Toward the end of the episode, he grabs Paola Rey (who was NOT in the bondage scene) and holds a gun to her head. However, she gets away and then he runs away from the police. Perhaps something could happen with her in the last 3 episodes. It's worth recording just in case. |

There was footage shown in the promos that was edited out of the final cut. It was just one shot of the two women sitting side by side. It is very similar to footage that WAS in the final cut, but the gag on one of them was tied differently. |

| Another thing I loved about this scene is that they used a standard (but surprisingly underutilized) device of forcing a girl to pretend everything is ok on the phone while they're actually being held captive. I LOVE SCENES LIKE THAT!! I really can't remember when was the last time that happened in mainstream stuff and not commerical bondage. Plus, it's great that they had 2 hostages while doing it!! Double points!!! Doble puntos!!!

There were hundreds of titles but a few always had the best covers.In the detective mags they were titles from pontiac publishers cofidential detective, crime detective from about 1968 to 1976 these magazine had a bondage cover on every single one many with gags. In the mens adventure titles the reese titles man's book, man's story, world of men,mentoday and man's epic essentially had a bondage illustration on every issue. they got scarcer in 1970s. the |

Every time the phone rang (which was frequent), the third DiD (Sharon Wyatt) was ungagged and forced to speak to the caller. The captors' rationale was she (the character) was an actress, she was the best one to answer and pretend nothing was wrong. |

| Here's what's going on as best as I can determine: Nicholas Cassadine's baby has been kidnapped by the psycho-nanny "Colleen" (played by Amanda Tepe). This is the character that recently bound and gagged "Helena" (Constance Towers) because she was on to Colleen's plan. Colleen has taken the baby and has now gotten a job at a day care center. "Nicholas" and "Emily" (Natalia Livingston) have tracked Collen to the day care center. In yesterday's episode, "Colleen" went back to her new apartment with the baby and was surprised by someone there. We did not see who it was. In today's episode, Nicholas and Emily located Colleen's apartment, but Colleen was not there.
It is my theory that "Helena" has tracked down "Colleen", took the baby and has captured "Colleen", planning to either kill her and/or frame her for the disappearance of the baby. Therefore, there is a possibility for a bondage scene for Amanda Tepe. Also, there is always the possibility that Natalia Livingston may get a scene too. It is worth keeping an eye on. |
