I was under the impression that you had ruled that the only allowable YouTube posts were those pertaining to mainstream movie and TV scenes.

Audio Book/CD
Fatal Voyage by Kathy Reichs

Disc 5, Chapters 12 & 13

Heroine awakes from being knocked out and finds herself in a bag, bound, gagged [with mouth packing], and blindfolded with tape.

She figures out her situation, remembers the scalpel in her jacket pocket, gets it out, cuts her bonds, removes the gag and blindfold, and cuts her way out of the bag.

It is read by an actress, but her name is not on the disc.

It lasts about six minutes.

Sounds like some research may have been done as the rag used as stuffing is described as soaked with saliva and the tape blindfold both hurting and pulling out eyelashes as it is removed.

Only reason to tune in, but it might pay off finally with Vanessa Marcil in bondage. "Las Vegas" had their 22-episode season cut to 17 this season by NBC, so they are borderline for renewal. This season's shows have been worse than ever, so I'm not expecting them to say "let's tie and gag Vanessa to boost the ratings" but we can hope somebody said that.

It's a bunch of cliffhangers, so it's not inconceivable that the series could get cancelled with Vanessa bound and gagged. What a lousy series! Hard to believe that people thought a bunch of aimless episodes about mishaps with casino customers would be more interesting than generic crime adventures with the hotel staff.

Pofoz set up a database at his site listed by title or author.
He'll add to it if you send submissions to him.
Instructions are beneath the book database listing.
Copy & paste url below or click through to my page and there is a "featured link" at the top to his site.

Days' worth of chuckles to see us through the winter!

At the risk of initiating a long thread of dog quotes, I thought this one was apropos.

"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semihuman. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog." - Edward Hoagland

Think about that for a moment...criminal minds, indeed!

I agree. The plotlines in this show are so stupid, it's amazing. It's almost worse than "Passions." It could get canceled, what with NBC's new shows doing better in the ratings, but I think they might get another season. But with only 17 shows this season, that must be because it's costly to make the series and the return might not be worth the investment for NBC. Vanessa bound and gagged in the last episode would be fine with me.

Zyzzyx Rd.
Entertainment Weekly has anarticle about this film being the lowest grossing in history ($30). But it looks like Katherine Heigl might have a scene or two in it. Pics at link

Re: Zyzzyx Rd.
"There are cactus out there, and I always say to Katherine's credit that in the last scene of the movie she has to run across the street and fall in a berm on the side of the road. She did that probably 10 or 11 times for different angles, and each time the berm is full of little microscopic needles. When we got back to the trailer her arm was covered in these little microscopic cactus needles, and I got some gaffer’s tape and peeled it off her arm and millions of these little needles came out."

Hopefully found another use for gaffer's tape in the film!

Agreed this current thing on Passions soap with this gal chasing the masked man into the store-room by herself then sqwacking "they coming to arrest you" is quite silly,

but let's call it "she on a breakaway",
as can't see her getting stabbed in soapland

Zinger,
what her name for the DB entry? as sense some action going to start any second

I submitted a correction to the database on this scene. The actress is Alona Tal. Cathryn Humphris is a writer for the show. Alona Tal plays a recurring character Meg Manning on Veronica Mars. Alona auduitioned and was scond choice for the lead of Veronica.

There have been several "Supernatural" titles over that last 70 odd years. The 2005 refers to when the show started is run. My searches found 5 hits for "Supernatural" (2005, 1977, 2004, 1933 and 1981).

Oops, my bad. I saw the Cathryn name in alphabetical order on the site for the episode. If I would have read it more slowly, I would have noticed it said "Writing credits (in alphabetical order)".

The name was added to the database the other day. They called her Mrs. Douglass, eventhough they listed her as "Helen" on tv.com. I found a site (which I forget) that showed every gal except the black lady, and used that as a guide when I rewatched the airing. If anyone can prove otherwise, I would really appreciate the correction.

Ghost Whisperer
I just saw an end of credits promo for next week epidsode. Jennifer Love Hewitt's character is in a jewelry store when it is robbed. There is a hint that the plot of the epidsode is she will be taken hostage later after the robber realizes that she may know too much from a jewerler from beyond the dead. Jennifer Love's character has gradually been losing that grown up "gothy" look she originally had and her incredible natural beauty is being allowed to shine. How sweet would it be for one of my biggest crushes to FINALLY get some full treatment action!!!

Special Unit 2
Just watched the 10pm episode on SciFi. When all three ladies are about to be set on fire, I noticed that Malea McGuiness character is gagged at one moment, not gagged at the next, then miracleously the gag reappears.

This occurs when the mummy is about to light the fire, and Alexondra's partner arrives. How can you not notice that two gals are gagged and one is not during a take.

Lauren - Y&R
Wouldn't you know I forgot to tape it today. If I couldn't see Lauren in cuffs, I'd at least get to see Lauren having fun putting them on another woman. Now, the question, did she really shoot Sheila, or is it possible she shot Phyllis instead? I can't believe they would end this plot line this early in this sweeps month. I think Sheila is still alive and is going to kidnap Lauren before the month is up. We can only hope. Remember,
