My favorite, and the first time I remember making an effort to watch a show for a bondage scene:
Record number: 323 Title: Honey West Medium: TV Series Actress: Anne Francis Description: Episode: "Whatever Lola Wants" (1.6) Undercover at a society party, Honey is held at gunpoint. She's wearing a hidden mike, so she drily delivers a running commentary, to alert her listening partner; she concludes (in a voice of only mild urgency): "Help, somebody, anybody-- mmmph!" as a gag is tied over her mouth. She's then placed in a (VERY roomy) packing case (they must have been planning to ship elephants) to be shipped (to Caracas, Venezuela, if memory serves). After she's seated in the packing case, her wrists are tied to what look like chair arms built into the case. Nice gloating villainess in this one, too. |

Just watched Thursday's episode. Kendall is held captive by the killer but not restrained until the final minutes. She's brought to the drop point with hands barely tied in front with white strips of the tape used to hold a bandage when drawing blood. Very light colored and weak of course.
The killer has her hooked up to a needle in the neck, which will launch by remote control. She's not looking that good anyways, so I'm not watching Friday. Going to wait for Vanessa Marcil. |

I just noticed that there's a local production of this musical coming up. I hadn't even realized that it had been adapted for the stage. The film, obviously, is a mainstream DiD classic (which I'll include in today's update just for fun). Just curious to know if anyone is familiar with the stage version. |

Marlene Dauden (good philipino actress) tries to help american soldiers during the WWII against the evil japaneses. To lure the american hero into a trap they capture her: she's tied over a bed japanese style (hands behind, ankles tied, several coils of rope around torso, connected to her bound wrists, and a very tight cleave gag that forces her mouth open). She doesn't surrender to her predicament and she struggle heavily: she manages to get up and stand and she goes hopping through the room. Then she sees a sword (a katana, of course) hanging on a wall and she hops towards it. She tries to cut her ropes standing, but she's not able to free herself, so she makes the sword falling on the ground and she spreads on the ground struggling upon the sword. Finally she manages to get free, but it's a veeeery long scene. |

"Watch Over Me" was prempted last night for basketball here in Atlanta,(I don't know if this was the case everywhere else.) Friday March 02 17:56:26 2007 Re: Thoroughly Modern Millie |
Depends on the production.
I've read the script, and there is definitely a short bondage scene scripted late in Act Two: according to the stage directions, the actress pops her head up out of a laundry hamper, hands tied behind, mouth gagged. She is quickly freed by the kidnapper who's fallen in love with her. I could certainly see a director finding some alternative to that (but, then, I could also see one getting a lot of comic mileage out of her sticking her head up, mmmph-ing, having to duck back down when they hear a sound, etc.). Interestingly, my theater group opens our production of the show in a couple of weeks, but because I'm working to prep the show following, I haven't had time to sneak into rehearsals to see how we're handling it yet. |

Friday March 02 20:25:36 2007 V. Moon, DB in general |
Two things: one, I have only seen half of Voodoo Moon, it was on TMN, and the hockey game came on before it was over. I did manage to catch one scene involving the aforementioned blonde. Yes, she is quite attractive, not to mention quite nude. Unfortunately, this is not an extensive scene. I believe she was tape gagged.
Second, I don't want it to come off in any was as though I'm barking at the DB and the people who work hard to keep it updated - I'm really thankful we have people to accept the chore and make life easier. If anything, part of me enjoys the thrill of finding my own horror scenes without the aid of the DB, though again, it is an awesome resource with great folks backing it up. Sorry to Jay L and the rest of yas if I came off as rude. |

The deadline for mandatory digital TV approaches and "mainstream" becomes more and more... internetish. Is "Paula Peril" the line in the sand? Probably not... but what if "Sanctuary"... My site is updated with an article entitled "Why Is Kyle McLachlan's father selling the Spice Girls' Mothers Into Sex Slavery?" I have proof that this occurred, if you're not real picky about stuff like "evidence" and "logic." Includes pics of unknown origin showing someone who looks a lot like Kyle McLachlan auctioning off five naked, bound women. Well, they're naked but they have lots of pubic hair so it's really the same as if they're wearing thongs. There's also a pick of fully clothed women being auctioned off as slaves from "Kismet." And a gratuitous pic of the MST3K gang. I mean, completely gratuitous. They're not even naked. |
