Tuesday March 27 00:58:58 2007 "Terror Among Us" for the 00s |
CSI preview for this week definitely shows at least 4 hot young showgirl roommates bound and cleave-gagged together, sitting on the floor.
Almost looks like it was written by a TAU fan (maybe even the same guy who gave us the blonde-twins-wrap-tape-gagged-back-to-back SVH hommage a while back). Let's hope there aren't just millisecond-long flashbacks. |

Tuesday March 27 03:17:04 2007 Hex |
I just saw Hex 2.9 "Ella Burns." It’s not in the database. Ella (Laura Pyper) has at least three DiD scenes. (I missed the start.) She's tied to a chair with ropes binding her forearms to the chair arms. To observers she appears to be having a psychotic episode, but she's actually having a past life experience where she's being tried as a witch. In the flashback she ends up being bound to a stake, a complicated affair with a winch, that's at the top of a ladder. She is almost set on fire. Then she's dragged away by the men in white and at the end of the episode she's in hospital in restraints. It looks like the mental hospital story continues in 2.10 |

Thank you for a thoroughly detailed synposis of the opening scene! This sounds very similar to the plot of "Terror Among Us", when two of the four flight attendants who live together discover two of their roommates bound and gagged together, and subsequently find themselves in an identical predicament. |

<snip> Checking the TV.com webpage gives the name of three of the actresses in this scene: Nadine Heimann, Tiffany DuPont and Betsy Rue. Rue is the only blonde, so that should be her on the left, and Heimann looks to be Asian, so I would say she's probably the one at right. No name listed for the fourth girl. |

Thanks Stephanie. Nice to finally see this one after reading about it for so long.
I don't know about the rest of the movie, but I can see why this one was STV. Talk about low-budget production! This looks like one of those that may only appear on one of niche cable/satellite channels. |

Yes, it's a snuff film. And, yes, we all hate when damsels get evicerated and such. But that Hamilton's scene is awesome.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Brian, the girls at majorjohns, and all the other people who get these scenes to the rest of us for free. |

Tuesday March 27 16:59:14 2007 Andy Barker, P.I. |
Andy Richter's new comedy series is currently posted for viewing at NBC's website (it's also on TV on Thursday nights on NBC).
The fourth episode, called "Fairway, My Lovely") features Karen Kim (who already seems to have a few DB entries) in a police-arrest handcuff situation. Not really my thing, but better than average for scenes of this type as you actually get a couple of shots where the cuffed hands are clearly shown. The website breaks the half-hour show down into three segments, and I think it's in the middle of the second one. I believe that the broadcast of this particular episode will be a week from Thursday (4/5), but all the episodes are available at NBC's website now. I haven't looked at the last couple yet, so there's at least the possibility of another scene. |

You know, I don't like crime and death shows so I don't really study this show, but it just dawned on me (duh) that it likely will be quick cut flashbacks. Reason being because they are always solving the crime by thought, and conjecture, so they show possible "flashes" of thought and imagination to illustrate this. So it's likely scenes like this will always be quick cuts and "flashes". Too bad, maybe we will get lucky and catch an opening scene with a little length; sometimes they do this if it doesn't reveal the killers face. By the way, it's on this Thursday night CBS. |

Tuesday March 27 21:18:52 2007 American Heiress Show Question? |
My air-sched is buggered and a certain nag, (won't mention name, like *ZINGER*) on me about catching this scene.
I think I got from 5mins to 9pm scene of the first missed hour. Can anyone whom watched full tell me if I got all to it? Or did miss some? Thanks |

They are just holding her arms as they gag her...she isn't tied. Anyway, if you caught that part, that was the first gag scene in the episode. Don't recall the exact time but it was pretty close to the end. They show her again a few minutes later as they are filming, but if you got the on-screen gagging, that was it...nothing before that. |

There may be some scenes that show the four ladies bound and gagged for a prolonged period of time. During the episode, the CSIs are conjecturing what transpired, and some prolonged flashback scenes may be necessary to illustrate their conjectures. At the end of the episode, when the crime has been solved, and the CSI who solved it is describing in detail what actually transpired, prolonged flashback scenes are a necessary accompaniment to the narrative. |
