It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years already. I think I first ran into your site during the summer of '98 and was I glad to see that I wasn't the only one who recorded TV shows and movies just for the bondage scenes! Back in the early years, I would visit the page several times a day, every day and I saw my scene collection build exponentially. I posted a fair amount back then. I mean, how great was it to finally have other people to banter about this kind of stuff with. These days, I don't visit nearly as often and I pretty much lurk now, but I've always enjoyed and appreciated your site and the work you and all of the other contributors put into it. It's funny, this forum has had several different sites, numerous changes and I've seen literally hundreds of different members of "the club" come and go (good to see that Van is still around though) but the basics of what made Brian's page great haven't changed - The VCR Alerts, scene database and discussion forums continue to be invaluable to all of us who love to see our favorite actresses tied up, gagged and in peril. Here's looking forward to another 10 years. Thanks for giving all of us a place to call home. |

| An interesting surprise in the new film Premonition.
Early in the film Sandra is taken to an institution. She was dragged out of her house in a red t-shirt and jeans. We next see her sitting on ametal bench struggling. Her hands are pulled to her sides by a restraint that goes around her waist. It is a black strap, not the clunky buckles we are used to. Her feet are also seperated a bit by a strap with two cuffs on each ankle. She wears the same outfit but is now barefoot. She struggles tolisten in on a conversation for a minute. Next we get a slow pan from her feet to her head on a table where she is strapped down for a shot, wearing the same clothes. She struggles here too. Not overly long but very unexpected. |

| ...I had just finished filling up my first T-160 tape of collected scenes-a process that took nearly seven years. This past week, I started on my 20th. Think of that. Forty-eight hours-two whole days!-of scenes collected largely with the help of this site.

As soon as I learned the basic rules of the forum, I started sharing my opinions with other DiD fans. And then, I realized something: Some of us may be gag snobs. Others may like only restrained ladies. Others may love cleave gags, whilst others may prefer tape gags. But we have one thing in common; we're all friends. We're a family. | Most of you have probably noted that Betty Hutton passed away this past weekend. In honor of her career, TCM has changed its Thursday schedule to show a trio of her movies. That means that at 2:15 pm Eastern/11:15 am Pacific, "The Perils of Pauline" (1947) will have another run. TCM sources have denied reports that this being the 10th anniversary of Brian's Page has also factored into their decision to show this DiD classic, but speculation remains rampant. |

Seeing as the director has said he's making an almost shot for shot remake of it...we can hope hope hope that Naomi tastes a mouth filling gag like the woman in the original...which is still one of the most severe gags I've ever seen in a movie... |

| Just to add to all the hoopla of the day...I'd like to say congrats on a site that has remained on my favorites list for many a year.
Gone are the days of scouring the VHS shelves or the tv guide...hoping to find something worth savoring. Some were great but long lost ("Vengeance" had a great mom/daughter tie and gag and then another lady tape gagged and blindfolded...anybody remember this one? The box had pictures of the daughter with the white tape gag)... But here, on this site, I found out that my hunting was not alone...and that when certain video boxes would disappear from the shelves for weeks at a time...I now know it was one of you guys who found it before me! Congrats Brian...on giving us a forum and keeping it running for all these years. Hope for another 10!! |

| I've seen some comments and questions on comic strips, so if this question is off topic, please excuse me. Does anyone remember the Nancy comic strip from the seventies? In one of the dailies, Aunt Fritzi was bound and gagged after a home robbery. Nancy immediately calls the police and informs the bound Fritzi that the police said not to touch anything until they arrived. Does anyone out there have this strip? I was just a kid when I first saw it, and have never forgotten it. |

I think that many here would agree we'd feel a bit lost without your site to come home to, cuz it actually does feel like home for so many of us regulars of so many years, complete with squabbles, arguements and the occassional smack to the side of the head by "The Old Man" to bring to our attention the error of our ways. | Yes, I remember those days, Brian. Hard to believe I've been a lurker for so many years. It's kind of interesting to contemplate those days of yore...the old days of Clem's original BIEL site, all those old geocities and tripod celebrity bondage sites....some i can still visualize but for the life of me can't remember the names of....it seems you can occasionally still find links to some of those old pages still lingering out there. I remember the first time i found your page and thought, WHAT??? NO PICTURES??? why's everyone linking to a page with no pics???
I think i even still remember origpooh as a college student and some announcement on his old site about him moving after graduation for some odd reason. don't know why that stuck with me....strange.... at the center of it all always seems to have been brian's humble discussion page. the sort of yoda at the still point...if that works |

| Congratulations, Brian, on ten years of being a great host to our discussions. I don't remember exactly from which site I first linked to this one, but I do know I found my first link to a site dealing with mainstream DiD/bondage at the Bedroom Bondage site. I've always been much more interested in this particular type of bondage than in the commercial bondage (which is not to say that I have no interest at all in the commercial kind), but I stumbled into this forum (along with Van's, Honky's and a bunch of others) purely by accident because I didn't even know where to start looking for mainstream bondage. So I guess I owe Lorelei a big debt of gratitude for having a link to this topic at her website. And thanks again to Brian for ten years of hosting this forum; I'm looking forward to the next ten and beyond. |
