Monday April 02 08:27:52 2007 Hunt for the BTK Killer |
Don't waste your time with this DVD; I rented it, attracted by the picture of the girl gagged with duct tape on the cover, and was immensely disappointed by its negligible bondage content. Most of the bondage is shown on photgraphs or drawings. I don't recall any female being gagged.
This DVD was originally a made-for-TV movie, so any lurid content has been excised. |

You see, I'm trying to put this movie on IMDb's Bottom 100, and I can't do it on my own. A movie must have a score below 2.7/10 and at least 650 votes. Ulli Lommel must pay for what he did to us... |

The only thing I recall about the TV movie was Michael Michele ("Dangerous Curves") was the female detective and the actor who played Carla Gugino's dad on "Karen Sisco" was the lead dectective. That actor also tied and gagged Connie Selleca in "PSI Luv U" with an assistant from Heather Thomas in her last network TV role in the early 1990s. |

It's been almost 8 yrs gentleman (and ladies), but I have to post a question after recently seeing the movie "The Hamiltons"... What are the best scenes of a women who is tightly cleave-gagged talking (or carrying on a conversation) while the gag is in her mouth? I mean, the whole point of the gag is so she cannot talk yet-- it happens all the time. What do you think?
Also, "The Hamiltons" is good, "BTK" sucked, and recently caught a brief scene of the beautiful kimora lee simmons gagged in "Waist Deep". Check it out... Gagger, Chicago Ranger |

This is the same TV movie; Michael Michele plays a police detective, and she is practically the only good-looking actress in the movie. The actor who plays the lead detective, the one who eventually apprehends Dennis Rader, the BTK Killer, is played by Robert Forster. One can tell it's a made-for-television movie because the screen goes black after climatic scenes; this is obviously indicative of commercial breaks. |

Think this originally ran on CBS. Pretty lousy movie. Basic premise was the guy was only caught because he wanted to get caught. Cops had no clue who he was. |

Monday April 02 19:55:47 2007 The Hitchhiker |
I watched this movie last night, and it features SIX actresses in bondage, four of whom are gagged as well. The four actresses who are gagged are silenced with ballgags; this is perplexing, since the villain binds their hands with duct tape.
The actresses are not exceptionally attractive; a couple of them are good-looking in a skanky sort of way. I would've composed a Database Entry, but the IMDb description for this movie doesn't exactly correspond with the movie I watched. |

The bondage content of this movie is negligible, consisting primarily of photographs of the victims or drawings by the killer. The picture of the girl gagged with duct tape on the DVD box had to be a marketing ploy to entice potential renters. I can conceive no other reason why the DVD box would have such an illustration, when a corresponding scene does not occur at all in the movie. |

To answer the question asked by an earlier poster, there are no scenes of interest in "The Lookout." |

Are ballgags becoming a LOT more commonplace in the last couple of years or is it just me? OK, that's a rhetorical question -- it's not just me, they ARE becoming more common. A few years ago I was able to write an essay where I tracked down the number of entries for ballgags in Brian's database and I think I came up with three, maybe four scenes from mainstream movies. I just did a quick search on Brians' Page and got 29 scenes describing women wearing a "ballgag" and a "ball gag". I did not count scenes where the woman just has one dangling around her neck, or where it's a regular ball taped in (a la "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot") or I would have had a few more. Come to think of it, I didn't count "The Hitchhiker" so make that 30 scenes. Prior to 1995 there had probably been 10 or less scenes in mainstream TV and films -- and remember, ballgags were known since the 1920s at least (probably earlier) and were fairly commonplace on bondage porn in the 50s (surely you remember Betty Page looking cute in her ballgag). In 1995 there were a spate of several ballgag scenes, then a few, then several a year. Since 2004 they've become more common. I'd say their popularity has to do with their drama. The're a LOT scarier looking than other kinds of gags. I bet that's why they show up mostly in consensual bondage scenes, where they are readily identified as kinky, and in scenes involving kidnapping or extreme violence, as in horror movies. |

In fact, I posted an anti-alert for "The Hunt for the BTK Killer" a day or so ago here, because of it's DVD packaging showing the tape gagged girl. I'm asking if the similar movie entitled simply "The BTK Killer" has any scenes. You mentioned that you didn't like that movie either so I asked if it had any scenes of interest or if you didn't like it because it was a lousy movie. |
