I'd have an interest in that. It would be interesting to know if wav files could be uploaded - is it possible and allowable? I'll defer to the Moderator and Engineer since I'm far from technologically astute enough to know how that might be done.

KAren allen - Raiders... in 2 separate scenes with the same gag - and the pleasure of being shown gagged, then ungagged and finally regagged once again in the same shot.
WOnder if she knows how popular she is because of the gag...

While I'm neither of those fine split personalities and can't speak to the database issue, what you'd basically need to do would be to find someplace online to host the clip, then post the link. Brian doesn't host files, for perfectly understandable reasons. I've been known to help with such things, so feel free to email me. You could also use one of the many free "one click hosting" services. (See link. RapidShare and Megaupload seem to be particularly popular choices at the moment.)

It might also be a good idea to use MP3 rather than WAV, if you're able. It would make for much smaller files, and the minor quality loss from the compression really isn't an issue for spoken-word stuff.

Certainly you could use .wav or .mp3 files.
FTP them to the server like everything else.
Not too many audio only sites out there.
This is one site that uses sound files for example:

Oops..should have signed this so you don't think it's from one of the Moderator's personalities.

This and that and nothing in particular...
...or, as a bound and gagged Brenda Starr observed in a thought bubble in the April 25, 2006 episode of her comic strip, "If reporting had made me rich, I'd be dying in better shoes."

First, in a sudden burst of curiosity, I hopped over to the IMDb to pull up the entry for last year's "Hollywoodland," which, as some of you may remember, deals with the untimely death of "Adventures of Superman" star George Reeves, particularly the still-lingering suspicions of many that the official version of events-that he died by his own hand-may not be entirely accurate. Anyway, I was of course looking to see who, if anyone, had portrayed either of the TV show's Lois Lanes in the film and discovered that a cutie named Lorry Ayers had scored a credit as "Phyllis Coates/Lois Lane." Not that she particularly looks like Coates, at least in the publicity shots adorning her IMDb entry, but that's neither here nor there. Anyone know if she gets it, either alone or in conjunction with "Jack Larson/Jimmy Olsen" (Joseph Adam)?

And why, if this movie deals mostly with events that occured after the show went out of production (Reeves, for those too young to remember, died in 1959), does it have Lois Lane portrayed by the actress who in reality only played Lois during the show's first season nearly a decade before? Curious, that.

And it's time to place your bets, ladies and gentlemen, as to whether "The Sopranos" is going to really pop with a good scene in its remaining nine episodes, the first of which airs tonight. I mean, any show that ran seven seasons and received so much critical acclaim ought to leave us more of a legacy than just one database entry, don't you think?

So...who's likely to get it and how? I still have this fantasy of Lorraine "Dr. Melfi" Bracco either getting nabbed by the feds as a material witness and held in contempt for refusing to rat out her patient, resulting in her being paraded back and forth from court to her cell cuffed and shackled a la Susan McDougal (Google that reference if you don't get it, kids; politics has been declared off-topic here), or kidnapped by one or more of Tony's enemies-who of course wouldn't be constrained by the Constitution as to the means to which they could resort in extracting information from her.

Somehow I don't see Carmela or Meadow getting it-at least not in the context of what their husband and father does; that would just be too melodramatic for this show. Maybe an unsuspecting thug breaks into the Soprano home and holds Carmela hostage, not only giving Edie Falco a chance to shine but allowing scriptwriting license with regard to how Tony responds. Or, perhaps Jamie Lynn DiScala will add a second scene to the database when do-gooder Meadow gets on the bad side of someone her organization is trying to help, or she manages to get arrested as a result of her activism, again giving the writers leeway with plot devices-do the authorities step in and try to use her to get to her dad? If so, does she acquiesce or resist-and what does Dad/Tony do?

Then again, with our luck it'll probably be Tony's sister Janice who gets it, since the mutual animosity between her and her brother has been a heavily used plot element throughout the show's history. Well, Patti D'Arbanville was no spring chicken, yet her seriocomic turn as a lady mobster made the show's one scene so far somewhat satisfying. There's no reason Aida Turturro couldn't similarly rise to the occasion should it present itself.

And it's kind of sad to reflect on the fact that two characters who'd have made great "Sopranos" damsels have already been whacked; Hall of Famer Annabella Sciorra's car saleswoman/paramour (remember the infamous tease she gave us playing with the ribbon used to wrap the gift Tony gave her?) and Drea de Matteo's unforgettable Adriana.

Finally, does anyone have the backstory about what happened to a character that appeared at the end of an episode from maybe the second or third season? She was an undercover FBI agent played by database damsel Fairuza Balk ("The Craft", "American Perfekt"). The IMDB says her scenes were deleted, but I specifically recall seeing her both as her undercover persona and meeting with other feds. In fact, I believe there was some buzz here about her apperance on the show and what it might portend. Sadly, she never showed up again. Too bad. That was a scenario that might have produced something.

Okay...like a dumbass I quickly answered my own question 2 seconds later. Posting of the ad (youtube) is on the video page.

Banderas plays a James Bond type and removes the gag before removing here stockings! That should get your attention.

EBERT & ROEPER
Just a few moments ago while watching this show they were advertising their web site and I noticed a picture of a woman with a red tape gag on. I quickly clicked on to their web site but there was nothing there. Clearly what I saw was from a previous period. It was on the DVD site for those familiar with this web site. My question is does anybody remember a scene in a recent movie or dvd showing a dark haired white woman with a red tape gag?

Jennifer Garner in "Swift Justice" would fit the scene description, although I don't know if it's on DVD.

I highly doubt it, which is a damn shame.

Yes it is an add for said product. Amazing ad, very sexy; there is an actual closeup of him peeling off her stocking without undoing the cuffs around her ankles to foil a laser light surveillance system. It's a pity they don't make them here in the U.S. All things considered the 'moral majority' would probably consider it too sexist or 'violent against women' despite the lack of danger.
