| Showtime digital cable subscribers can now view a tasty little sendup of Lovecraftian horror films (and reform school girl films) called The Halfway House (Database number 11917) on the On Demand free access area. There are no less than three scenes of women bound in a full (and wide) spreadeagles, naked except for thong panties. Evil nuns, bare butt spankings, catfights, lesbian sex, lesbian gang rape with an image of the Virgin Mary used as a dildo (penetration not seen), straight sex and straight sex with decapitation round out the proceedings. (But sadly, not a gag to be seen, as indicated in the database.) Mary Woronov does a great turn as an evil nun and there's the cheesiest Lovecraftian monster I've seen in a long time, and they're ALL cheesy, so that's saying something. Prolly a couple of other things I can't remember ofhand. Frankly, it reminds me of some of the live-action hentai I've seen, except that it's funny and well-lit enough that you can actually see the scenes and the women are hotties of something other than the Asian variety. There's some gore but it's the comedy-horror gore, not the real disgusting stuff.
I would have put this on the Alerts page, but since the movie is available On Demand it's avaiable at any time during the next month. Very handy. If there's another page where I should put alerts like this, let me know. |
