Whoa...now I'm confused. So this episode has already AIRED? And we all missed it (well, some of us!)? Or am I reading the post wrong.
Bottom line, is this an episode that is set to air in the near future in the US? It's kinda sounding like it has already played...at least somewhere.

This was pure speculation on the original poster's part. Along with wishful thinking on the potential of a DiD scene. So yeah, it probably didn't need to be posted on this board. But I don't think the poster ruined a plot point. I doubt he (or she) knows what's really going to happen mid-season. :)

I recorded it on my homebrew pvr I built from a SkyOne satellite feed. It won't play in the U.S. til after March.

I don't think this is an attitude we should adopt.
It appears that Wavy was trying to do something good.
Sometimes the best of intentions don't come out that way.
Kuba Lister obviously has some serious technical knowledge of digital video capture. He should be encouraged to post his work here if he so desires. As I've said many times those who share caps & clips are much appreciated.

How far back? I'm still trying to figure out how I missed it in the first place....

Crazy Family
I was intrigued that Majorjohn's site noted "Crazy Family" as Japanese TV, so I took a moment and checked with IMDB. The Japanese title is "Gyakufunsha Kazoku." It's a 1984 movie--whether it's a made-for-TV movie or came out theatrically is unspecified on that site.

The actress playing Erica is Youki Kudoh (aka Kudoh Yuuki), who apparently won at a least won award as new, upcoming actress for this role. It's the first of a long list of screen credits for her--and she's apparently in "Rush Hour 3", also!

Does anyone know whether this film was indeed cinematic, or restricted to TV in Japan?

I'll update the database in this regard. The 'movie' was a defunct TV pilot (not subsequently produced as a series) and not available on DVD, etc according to our Japanese friends.

Thanks, Stephanie. And I appreciate you doing the database update. I didn't want to touch it since the clip came form you and you've got the good contacts to confirm or reject this other info.

One reason I was curious about this clip is that there's always an interesting debate about production values in TV vs. cinema. It's one thing to engage in that discussion from a US/Canada perspective. But moving into a different culture with different societal values for what's depicted--and how it's depicted--raises some interesting additional questions about the TV vs. film thing.

Thanks for making it available.

Tracey Gold scene is an underated gem, IMO. Great cleave gag. Growing up in the 1980s, I always wanted to see my two favorite Tuesday night ABC hotties bound and gagged, Alyssa Milano and Tracey Gold. Glad they both took care of business later in their careers.

Y&R - very good possiblity - Lauren Fenmore
I've been following the above soap through the yrnews.com page. It looks like Sheila is back again, played by another actress (Plastic surgery is the explanation.) Paul was onto her and has been holding her in a makeshift jail that Sheila had presumably designed for Lauren. According to the spoiler Sheila escapes Monday. (while having handcuffs removed.) Hopefully she'll take them with her when she goes to kidnap Lauren. Below is an excerpt from the spoiler:

Maggie reaches the place Sheila is being held and makes the big mistake of setting Sheila free. As soon as Sheila is un-cuffed she chokes Maggie, who falls unconscious. Sheila's plan to escape has finally paid off!

February is "sweeps" month so the soap storylines usually add some more action during the month. Another Y&R storyline to keep an eye on - is the professor a serial killer? Is Colleen in danger? Hopefully!

From the 'Genoa City News' bulletin board discussion for the week of 1/29: Sheila kidnaps Phyllis, Summer, and Fen, leaving a tied up Lauren behind to explain their disapperance... and also "After Kevin tells her he loves her, Jana goes missing" ...yup, definitley 'sweeps' time!

Very nice. Nearly half the pics devoted to her being tied and gagged (though out of sequence!), with running commentary. Thanks!

I would have asked on that guy's comments section where he got the clip? That way, I'd have a description and this miserable Moderator dude couldn't have touched it

Great news. Now, isn't Y & R one of those soaps that air later that same evening on SoapNet? Our satellite doesn't get the local channels but we DO get SoapNet!

Get a description, then post. Pure genius Dom! Anything that keeps that *micro-manager* off the page is welcome.

I taped today's episode of One Life To Live.
There was no scene and I didn't see any previews of anything upcoming.

This was discussed on Brian's Page a couple years ago, and it certainly is at or near the top of my list!

OK, the bad guys figure out that Kelly Garrett and Kris Monroe are either undercover policewomen or PIs, and kidnap them off the beach. They're sadistically vicious -- having run down an unarmed man, stringing out their kidnap victim on heroin, and tossing their "weak link" henchman to his death.

Yet... not only is Kris allowed to bring along her volumnious handbag, but also it's clear they never bothered to search it! It's a wonder that in addition to a walkie-talkie, there wasn't a Baretta, a hunting knife, and a homing device in that handbag. :-)

It may have had a theatrical release here in the U.S. I remember reading a reivew of this in one of the local (NYC) papers some years ago, likely around that time. It specifically mentioned the daughter liking to be bound and gagged.

We don't know when they're supposed to be on. That's why we posted on here.

(We only keep scenes a secret when we know the air date and time.)

It's the Blair character, we think. We'll watch for it in ...
