I'd consider nominating: the 50s: Noel Neill the 60s: Stephanie Powers the 70s: Lynda Carter the 80s: Heather Locklear the 90s: Teri Hatcher the 00s: ? ---- I find it hard to quibble w/ your nominations (except to change "Stephanie Powers" to "Stefanie"). Each had DiD appearances in MULTIPLE TV series and/or movies. Other possible nominees had numerous scenes, but often associated with only one TV series (e.g. Diana Rigg, Sheree J. Wilson, Gillian Anderson, Jennifer O'Dell, etc.). Because we're only 2/3 through the 2000's, I don't think it's fair to name a "Top DiD" yet. That, and few candidates have appeared in multiple TV series and/or movies. Elisha Cuthbert racked up hers in "24", and Cameron Diaz's best DiD scenes were in the 1990's. |

---- Hmm, on further consideration, because Lynda Carter's B&g scenes for the 1970s were pretty much all from one TV series (and never B&g'd in her Wonder Woman costume), for the 1970s my nomination would go to Cheri Caffaro. After all these years, she's still probably is the actress with the most nude B&g mainstream scenes. |

Gretchen Mol just didn't do it for me, either. Tyler's lips would look great clenching some cloth. Wrapped around a ballgag would be (to me) the greatest gag in DiD history. I'd love to see Bullock get a gag before her looks deteriorate. I'd really like to see Scarlett Johansson and Kiersten Dunst (c'mon Spderman 3!) fully treated in their adulthoods. Even though she has two scenes to her credit, I'd like to see one for Nikki Cox where we get atleast one good headshot of her. Toss in her Vegas co-stars while we're at it. Maybe Ted Shackleford will reprise an old role of his there. |

| Thanks to the unsigned poster for the GH tip. There was one scene where Helene was seen bound & gagged by the wacko nanny,in the middle of Fridays episode. She's sitting on a bed with her ankles tied and her arms over her head to the back of the bed and sporting one of those half in and half out cleaves. The wacko taunts her and leaves her to starve to death in the parapet. Going to have to watch soapnet this weekend to see how many scenes before this one.
And since I'm catching up do a lot of these old broads myself I find some of these scenes very appealing. I even liked the shots of the old broad in the closet in Teri Polo's recent lifetime movie. |

| Sadly, it looks like the scene from "That Girl" on TVLand today was edited slightly. All of the "carrying" scenes seemed to be there, but I think we were cheated out of a shot with her inside the elevator. I guess they're just tempting us to buy the DVD set. :)

If we broaden the field to actresses who have had one or more *marginal* DiD-scenes, but have never *REALLY* been B&G'd, my list gets longer... a *LOT* longer. ;-) And if I had to choose only one... |

Naw, Tape...I see where you're going with this and no, I doubt that the fact that it's a "bondage scene" had anything to do with it being edited. Rather, I imagine that the scene happened to occur almost exactly in the middle of the episode, and commercial breaks are put into the middle of 30-minute episodes. It's a nice, convienent place for a cut to insert a commercial and (besides the appeal factor to us here) the scene inside the elevator could be removed without damaging the plot as a whole. Of course, I'm one of the believers in that mainstream bondage scenes mean very little to anyone besides us here...I just can't think that anyone would deliberately think "hey, I'll edit out some footage of the girl tied & gagged so those individuals into mainstream bondage will buy the DVD set so they can see her in all her tied-up glory". I'm a firm believer that folks who are not into mainstream bondage aren't really even aware of the fact that some guys (& gals) really get into it, and I don't believe they act upon our desire to see tied up ladies to sell DVD sets, to tune into certain programs, etc. And I'm probably in the minority here. |
