According to a fan forum, charachter names of the four women are "Nelly", "Lorena", "Martha" and "Natalia". Martha is played by the good looking Sharmel Altamirano; Natalia is a child whose name is Daniela Rodriguez. I can't find the names of the other two actresses.

Happy new year to everyone.
This one was not a bad year in term of DiDs.

Best Soap Duo: Valérie Baurens, 6 eps in solo then 3 eps in duo with Hélène Médigue. Both tied-up to chair and gagged with scarf in "Plus belle la vie" (French TV).

Sorry, but the fan forum is wrong. Some of the names you mention are not in the scene. Check out the preview, you'll see.

Damn!!! I knew it! That's why no one mentioned anything about "Hoot" on the forums...

I'm terribly sorry. I started this, so I should end this:

If you're a tape-gag fan, go to slickdevilentertainment.com

If you're a Tomiko fan, go to Tomiko1.com

If you want to help with the keywords, get registered in imdb.com and then go to http://imdb.com/Sections/Keywords/

There.

Happy 2007!

True Crime/Detective Magazine Database
Database of True Crime/Detective Covers now online. New entries are trickling in, but the current site is basically done.

The title of each magazine is a link to a page with pictures of each magazine listed, plus links to Ebay and Amazon.com pages which (may) have some of the listed magazines available for sale.

I was planning to wait till next week to announce the 'grand opening' of the database, but Ebay had a 'reduced insertion-fee day' a couple of days ago, and the number of magazines available is quite a bit higher than usual - a magnitude of 4X as high.

The Untouchables (rare scene alert)
The Untouchables: "An Element of Danger" (Eve Cotton bound and gagged) will be shown tonight (Friday Dec 29) at 8:00 pm pacific time on KDOC (channel 56) in the Los Angeles area. This scene is in the database, but the only information mentioned is "bound and gagged". Since I live in Los Angeles, I would normally record this scene myself. However, I am visiting my parents on the east coast for Christmas so I will not be able to record it. (I forgot to check the KDOC website before I left.) KDOC will not be showing "The Untouchables" anymore after the start of the new year, so this may be the only time to record this scene for a while. I have posted an alert on the VCR alerts page.

The FAQ doesn't cover topicality, for the very good reason
that it tends to be a shifty thing. Rulings by the Mod,
plus the general guidelines of the Mission Statement
(top of each page) serve that role.

That sounds like a fine site for someone else to do. It
isn't this one.

I have many times in the past, but will do so again.
It is not.

Nothing in Friday's episode. Did see the preview and these damsels are smoking hot. Will record again on Monday, although not sure if New Year's affects the soap schedule.

Its during a live performance of her song "Toxic". Her blindfold slipped down. It's during a dance break, so its not like she accidentally "mmpph'd" a few words. Y'know, assuming she wasn't lip-syncing

No - blindfolded, though as they remove it, it kinda looks like a gag. Some people swear by this kind of coincidental "gaggage", I think it defeats the purpose. Either way, this was a fun concert for Britney - I believe she is also "tied" with huge loosey ropes earlier on.

That's just someone posting an old pic and having fun; he's not being serious (I hope). If you watch Amores and see the preview you know what's really coming. Don't get side tracked, the Amores scene is going to be the bomb.

About "Turistas"...
Check it out - Turistas is #70 on IMDb's Bottom 100! It really cracks me up when a movie is brought to the list of the 100 worst movies of all time... But it doesn't really matter, huh? I mean, even if a movie is #1 on the Bottom 100, it's going to be one of our favorites as long as it has a decent DiD scene...

By rights, my dear little film is screening inside 2006, but it'll be on DiD sites by early 2007 :) And modesty aside, there's some good scenes in there :) Black tape gag with an asian style dress. Cute blonde with black tape gag ... and a couple of others too!

Bearer of Bad News
I hate to be the bearer of Bad news especially on my first post. BUT the British Magazine SFX has had a feature with Joss Whedon where he basically interviews other genre people.
This month, his guest was Warren Ellis who took over the interview to ask Whedon about Wonder Woman. The first question he asked was "Is there Bondage in it?" and right away Joss say "No. There is no bondage in it."

I was gutted. As I'm sure you all are too.

2007 - The Year Of The Outlaw
Outlaw Trail, that is. I've kept quiet on this subject because the best DiD scenes per year are always the ones that go under the radar until they surface via televised previews or spoiler sites.

That said, Arielle Kebbel in Outlaw Trail has my attention the most out of all of the prospects. This film better come out sooner than later .. so far I've heard Fall 2007. Doesn't that just suck.

Just for your passaround ref:
The ID wizard Peter de K has figured this as "Muriel Baumeister" in "Liebeskrank (2001)"

This development is really a shame since bondage imagery was such an intentionally important part of the original Wonder Woman comics. Too bad this movie project didn't have somebody with a better sense of tradition at the helm. I'll probably still get talked into going by my Wonder Woman fanatic roommate, so it's nice to know ahead of time. Thanks for the warning.

January Issue of Esquire
Speaking of my roommate, the latest issue from his Esquire subscription arrived yesterday, and the fashion spread has some imagery of interest for some of us. On page 124 there is a young woman being cholorformed (yes, the handkerchief is one of the products being advertised), though you can't see much more than her expressive eyes; on page 125 there are shoes being advertised with an image of a woman's ankle tied to a chair (not my bag unto itself, but probably somebody's). Enjoy . . .
