I personally don't think Kellie Martin is all that great looking, especially for an actress her age. If I remember seeing that scene correctly (and it was more than three minutes ago, so maybe not) the girl that was with her in those scenes was much better looking. To each his own, but. |

did las vegas pan out to any bondage? I'm guessing not but thought I'd ask. I didn't bother recording it after I watched the first 5 minutes when Molly was seen being put into the casket. |

Love the dream sequence where she's tied on the bed and rescued. Damn it's over we think, then we see her still b&g on the bed and lucky for us it was just a dream and the scene goes on and on and on. Great stuff there. You could write a laundry list of all the great elements in this marathon. I'd rank Martha Byrne's lengthy captivity w/ hogtie scenes as number 2. |

Saturday December 02 10:28:39 2006 Re: Best scene of the year -- gotta be desire |
Gotta be last night's desire. The guy spends five-ten minutes fondling, gloating over, etc. his bound DiD. I've never seen such a long, intense scene. Only thing that could have improved it would have been leaving the gag on the whole time. But I've not seen anything even CLOSE to this in mainstream TV since, say Xenia Seeburg's bondage spreadeagle in underwear in Lexx, complete with bound, naked guy being lowered atop her. And the Lexx scene didn't have NEARLY the fondling that the Desire scene.
But for sheer length and fondling, I've not seen anything to match it. |

Saturday December 02 11:05:53 2006 Inspector Mom |
Hello All,
Remember a couple weeks back when the Lifetime original movie "Inspector Mom" turned out to be a bust? Well, they're running bi-weekly webisodes viewable only from the Lifetime Movie Network page (they're free) and in the final episode there's a little action. There's a quick shot of an older babe b&g, (duct tape) in the closet and a quick shot of a hottie getting cuffed at the end. It's kind of a touunge-n-cheeky drama, so these webisodes will be worth checking out in the future. I have no idea how long they will run, but hopefully long enough for a quality scene to show up, but one never knows. They come out each Tuesday and Thursday. |

Home And Away has just reached a point here in Pomland where evil Mamma Rose is about to kidnap Martha and Tasha. We understand from tv mags here that the ladies are kept in a caravan and chains are involved, but no more than that.
Nothing in the DB, but that may not always be bang up to date I appreciate, so do any of you in Oz know of any more specific details of this story? |

Saturday December 02 14:13:35 2006 Is it possible to do a "Gor" or a "Ginger" nowadays? |
I was thinking .... would it be possible to create a book/movie/TV series like the Gor novels or the Ginger movies, which are chock full of bondage scenes, but are not clearly recognized as being all about the bondage by the mainstream folks? I mean, the first Gor novel was written back in 1967, and the first Ginger movie was made in 1970, when kinky stuff Just Didn't Happen in the mainstream, or if it did, it was as an example of psychologically disturbed people being psychologically disturbed (see: "Story of O").
I think because the Gor novels were first accepted as mainstream SF, and the Ginger movies as standard sexploitation detective movies, they gave readers who would never ordinarily touch an overtly kinky title a certain license to read a Gor novel/watch a Ginger movie. Kind of the way a lot of guys who'd never be seen buying a copy of Maxim or FHM will buy a copy of the Sport Illustrated swimsuit edition because it's not not a men's magazine, it's Sports illustrated. But things were different back then: the common perception was that bondage was something only practiced by beret-wearing beatniks in New York City with the aid of capri-pants wearing hotties like Bettie Page. It wasn't something that people expected to see in mainstream books and movies, unless presented specificaly as a bondage story, like "Story of O." So when they watched Ginger or read the Gor novels, they didn't really see it. Of course, people are a lot more sophisticated about bondage nowadays, but they're also a lot less sensitized to it in certain respect. That is, during the recent episode of "Desire" where the bad guy spent so much time fondling and gloating over his bound victim, there's a DEFINITE sexual bondage subtext going on there. I think modern audiences would tend to note and not be particularly upset about this because it's just something a director might do in an edgy damsel in distress scene. Their awareness of sexual bondag3e has in a sense desensitized them. So, the quest is, could someone do a bondage series of some kind now in a mainstream venue, without having it immediately recognized for what it is? Would the increased awareness of sexual bondage make them more apt to catch on, or would the desensitizing of audiences to sexual bondage imagery make them less apt to catch on? And for bonus points, what sort of venue might work? That is, what sort of mainstream movie/TV/novel genre might work as effectively for bondage imagery as John Norman's sword and sand fantasies, or the Ginger movies' detective genre? |

Very close to scene of the year except for one thing, and it's a big thing... hands tied in front is a major buzz kill for me; not realistic, not sexy, not inescapable... just dumb. One saving grace; I think her hands are tied behind in the next episode; last of the season. If they are, then it's scene of the year so far from me. Close second is the recent Passions soap where the blonde is stripped to her bra, blindfolded and gagged (would be #1 if we saw the gag alone if even for a second). |

just to make sure I'm up to speed with everybody...down here in the States there has only been ONE episode...last night (Friday)...where she has actually been gagged, correct? I only saw the very first alert for this show yesterday afternoon so anything that happened before Friday's episode I missed (which doesn't bother me if there was no gagging onvolved).
The previews showed at least 2 additional gag scenes....one with her lying down & one with her looking angry over her gag. Are both of those supposed to show up on Tuesday Dec. 5th? |

At least when the hands are tied in front, you can see that they are really tied, and I love seeing the wrist really tied tight, ether in front or back. If in that scene her hands were behind her while she was on her back, how would you know that they were really tied? She could just be holding her hands in back for that entire scene. In any bondage scene, if they never show the hands Tied in back, 9 times out of 10 their Not! |

Saturday December 02 22:14:45 2006 Turistas |
Here's the deal.
Only decent scene occurs early, and it's with Olga Diegues who plays a girl from Sweden. She's the one tied to the posts being carried through the forest with her boyfriend, a.k.a. a Swedish putz. Contrary to what we have been believing thus far, Beau Garrett is actually the ONE female lead that isn't gagged nor restrained in any way. Melissa George, and Olivia Wilde are tied hands behind and gagged in cages. Here's the problem: the scene is extremely dark and dirty, and loaded with putzes. Some decent stuff for George, but really nothing mind blowing. All things considered, fun film, more of an action than horror flick, though there's some terrible latin rapping, and some awful ethnocentric stereotyping of Brazil. |

Furthermore, their Spanish grammar is bad. "Turistas" with an "-as" at the end should be used only if the tourists are made up exclusively of women; even if there are nine women and one man, the proper word would be "Turistos" with an "-os" at the end. Since there are plenty of putzes in the mix, the title should have used the "-os." I was hoping against all rational hope that there wouldn't be any putzes because of the strictly feminine title, but we aren't so lucky, obviously. Thanks, Hollywood. |
