One more Christmas mainstream scene
Ellen DeGeneres got it at the beginning of her sitcom's 1995 Christmas episode "Do You Fear What I Fear?"-but it was during the introduction and not really part of the episode itself. Description in the database.

Isn't there a scene in which the dastardly villain taunts her while she's bound and gagged in the car trunk, before closing the trunk lid? She makes some delectable "mmph" sounds while he's taunting her, as I recall. Was she wearing the bikini when she was overpowered in her apartment, or did he coerce her into putting it on?

Hardware BBC
I saw a promo for a show called "Hardware" for airing on this Friday in the evening I believe. Don't know the time. Showed the actress saying to one of the males, "I think I would like to be tied up..." or something like that. Then they show her elaborately bound to the bed spread eagle with a series of pulleys and such. No gag. Played for laughs I believe. Actress is cute.

Re: Best Mummification Scene?
The "Virgin of the secret service" scene is probably the best scene of its kind that I can think of. I know that long ago I saw a picture of the scene in a UK tv listings guide from 1969 called "TV Times", and I've been tying to track it down on the net for a while now but with no success.
Toon scenes feature full body wraps far more than live action. Like the Hooded Claws' "Terrible Tut tape trap" for example from "Penelope Pitstop".
There is a yahoo group called "Girls under wraps" that has much in the way of mummification imagary in case you're interested, but I've lost the url.

Daybreak possibility tonight
The preview at the end of last week's episode (Dec 6, the one with Moon Bloodgood bound and gagged) did not show any actual footage of Moon Bloodgood in bondage, but it DID show a shot with the steamrollers (or whatever you call them) from the bondage scene and it DID show Moon in her hospital outfit (which she wore in the bondage scene) getting surprised by someone. Since each episode is repeating the same situation, perhaps there will be footage of her getting kidnapped (which we did NOT see last week) and footage of her being bound and gagged being brought to the spot that we saw last week. Anyway, it is a strong possibility.

More scenes with this hottie bound and gagged would be awesome. Hottest damsel so far this TV season in my opinion.

Cynthia (Cyndy) Preston did great mmmphing in her four B&G scenes and a couple of handgag ones. Hope she gets back in the soap world

Re: Best Mummification Scene?
Sorry if this is a reapeat. I haven't been following this thread since that's not my thing, but in my scansion I haven't noticed any mention of the scene from The Descendant. I'd that that would be must for mummification fans.

Here's the database entry, abbreviated for relavance:

Record number: 9020

Title: Descendant (2002)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Katherine Heigl, Whitney Dylan

As an added bonus, Ms. Dylan has a short-but-sweet scene at the 46-minute mark. Wearing her pajamas, she's grabbed in her own home, and seen a moment later standing with her hands tied together above her head and her mouth gagged with duct tape. The bad guy proceeds to mummify her completely with white tape. Nice closeups of her bound wrists, her taped feet and legs, and her face as her abductor gags and blindfolds her with the tape. The scene ends with a long shot of her predicament. Happily, she too is rescued at the 77-minute mark, in another short sequence that is intercut with Ms. Heigl's own predicament.

She also stars in a new movie called 'The Choke'. A review says it includes "The requisite (and creepy) 'girl blindfolded and tied to a chair' scene."

Agreed. Just added a DB entry for that one the other night. I suppose one could complain about the shaky-cam, but that would be to look a gift damsel in the (rather nicely tape-gagged) mouth.

And because I may not have plugged PantyDidCap's latest DVD quite enough yet: yeah, that's how I ran into it.

Dear ABC: clearly, the only thing that can save this show at this point is Moon Bloodgood bound and gagged in a different position every single week from now on, with long, lingering closeups. Send a note to the writers, would you?

Update - 12/13
Added caps of Kelsey Matheson and Kristy Swanson from "Living Death".

IMO, second best scenes behind "Twisted Sisters" this year.

It seems that several shots of the
dead DiD in a black & white photo
has her hands bound in front.
I did not realize this until I
saw it just now at 20 after.

DAYBREAK
Nothing special on above show tonight. Quick flashback shot of Moon from last week near the end, was all. Not of the whole scene but one quick flash shot.

Paperback Novel Surprise Find
Went to the library and stumbled upon a paperback novel titled "The Frumious Bandersnatch" by Ed McBain. The cover sports bound female hands with yellow rope. The story is about an up and coming singer who is kidnapped from her cd launch party on a yacht.
She is kidnapped on the last page of chapter 1. Witness descriptions happen in chapter 2 and chapter 3 begins with a description of her predicament.
"Something was covering her eyes. She could not open her eyes because whatever it was - a cloth blindfold, duct tape, whatever - was so tight. Her first instinct was to reach up, but she discovered at once that her hands were bound behind her." Etc, etc.

Hallbird, thanks for the information. Anything promising in the preview for next week?
