I myself was initially deceived by the briefness of the scene and the fact that the character clearly was not named after Reynolds or Lancaster...but, upon further review of the definite and indefinite pronouns in the dialogue and a quick check of a Passions fansite (gah), a putz is a putz. | I watched the video clip of the bondage scene from this movie, courtesy of Raffish. Your magnanimity is acknowledged and appreciated, my friend. Though much of the scene was poorly lit, thus rendering the ladies' gags nearly invisible, the later parts were very viewable and immensely enjoyable.
I especially enjoyed watching the ladies' captors removing their blindfolds, but keeping them gagged. The imploring looks in the eyes of the gagged damsels was priceless and inimitable. This happened to both ladies. Barbara Alyn Woods, the blonde, was first. One of her captors removed her blindfold, but did not remove her gag, a strip of duct tape placed strategically over her mouth. They looked into each other's eyes for a prolonged period of time before he took her away somewhere. I think that she is a gorgeous and underrated actress; her wholesome pulchritude makes me swoon. Hillary Tuck, the redhead, was next. She looked at her captor after he removed her blindfold with her mouth still gagged with duct tape. The look in her eyes was priceless and indescribable, both imploring and admonitory. Her captor kept her gagged for a long time after he removed her blindfold. The two actresses used to work together on the defunct television series, "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids". They were bound together back to back a few times in that series. I wonder how they felt about being bound and gagged together? Can anyone think of any bondage scenes where the bound and gagged damsel gives her captor a memorable look? |

You have to admit though, he does look a lot like a chick at a glance. It's a scary world when you have TV shows where you almost can't tell male and female apart. I apologize for wasting bandwidth on this. Sometimes I just can't help myself. BTW, I realized why I didn't think this was the same character (Fancy that is). Didn't she fall down a mine shaft or something a few weeks ago? I don't know, I stopped watching after that. It's all I can do to endoure the few minutes of actual pertinent footage in these horrible shows in order to get the money shot(s). |

To be honest, I didn't know anything about "Pirates", but after seeing your screencap, I did look up the movie online. I found one additional pic from the "Pirates" website. There aren't that many ballgag scenes in the mainstream. Maybe this one will put it up to a dozen or so. For whatever reason -- prolly because they're associated with sexual bondage and not DiD bondage -- they're very rare. |

The scene with Carmen is exceptional, one of my favorites - and the fact that it's in a porn doesn't hurt. She's kidnapped for entertainment purposes on some pirate's birthday (I am convinced the guy playing the birthday pirate is Stephen Harper). A sexy brunette fondles here for a bit before the gag and ropes go and they have sex on the floor with each other. Theres another scene with Jesse Jane and a putz, where the two are tied in a burning house. No gags, but it's still kinda fun. |

The "older" damsel is "Helena" played by Constance Towers. She is still bound and gagged. Maybe we will get more this week. I am visiting my parents on the east coast for Christmas so I will be able to provide west coast alerts for this and other things for a while. I missed this scene the day it was first mentioned, but I asked my mother to record the show for me on Soapnet, which I do not get. Today I saw the scene for the first time. It is great! Constance Towers is on a bed, handcuffed to the bedposts, her ankles are tied and she's gagged with a thick cleavegag. She mmmmphs and gives a fearful facial expression. There are great closeups. She was bound and gagged by a character named "Colleen". Constance Towers (who was bound and gagged once before on a soap opera named "Capitol") may be an "older" actress, but she is still sexy! |

Back in the 80s they used cut the explicit scenes out of XXX movies and put them out as what they called Hard R rated movies. But since they were regular XXX movies without anything much going for them except the explicit sex scenes, they were only popular in venues which had no access to XXX movies -- which the Atlanta area was, at the time. The interesting thing about "Pirates" is that it's a relatively 'big budget' XXX movie that prolly has a lot to offer other than explicit scenes (relative to other XXX movies -- I'd be very surprised if it was more than a mediocre R-rated softcore flick. Then again, most Skinamax softcore flicks don't have much of a budget, either.) The interesting thing will be to see if it shows up on cable. I don't swee why it shouldn't, in fact, I imagine the premium channels will find it fairly appealing. Being an ex-XXX flick it will have some novelty appeal and some prurient appeal as well. If "Pirates is able to become exremely profitable by exploiting both the XXX and R market, we might see quite a few more like it. And the reason this is of interest to us is this: it should be even more possible to take a hardcore bondage flick and edit it down to R-ratedness, especially if you shoot it with the intention of doing so in the first place. Might make for some first-class scenes. All very speculative, of course. |
