Ok, that's enough on this topic. We've been over this
unfertile ground many times.

Ahh, one of my all time faves. Note how the scene jumps back and forth between the gag being under and over her long hair. I saw it many times before I noticed that. Incidentally, when the show was originally on in my area, it was called Rin Tin Tin. I always wondered why it shows up more often as Katts and Dog (which I had never heard of until it was mentioned on this site).

General Hospital HOM alert
At the end of General Hospital today, Elizabeth was handgagged by Ric when she came out of Sam's hospital room. Since it was in the final 5 minutes of the show, expect a rerun of the scene to kick off tomorrow's episode.

Me too...I'd never heard of it called anything but Rin Tin Tin till I saw it here posted as Katts & Dog. I believe that was it's Canadian name...wasn't the series made in Canada?

Did you say that WOMEN, as in the plural form of "woman", are gagged with tape? Would one of the women be bound and gagged on the road, about to be run over by James Bomd in a flashy sportscar?
If this is when one of the bondage scenes occurs, then my speculation has been corroborated. I speculated that if a villain left a damsel on a road with the intent of having her run over by a speeding car, then it is logical that she be incapacitated; she would need to be bound hand and foot in order prevent her escape, and gagged in order to prevent her from alerting the hero of her peril.

The IMDB will clear this up for you. Yes, this was a Canadian tv series, focused on the adventures of officer "Katts" and his police dog...the show was renamed for international markets.

Similiar to the French TV commercial with the cutie gagged, hog-tied and lying on the road where a truck driver stops and picks up a magazine beside her

General Hospital
GH did start off with a replay of the Liz handgag scene. It was a quick on & off.
At about 15 minutes in, there was a hint of a gag scene. The cops set up a decoy "Sam" to trap Jason, but he got the jump on her. There is a shot when the cops deiscover their trap failed where we see the decoy finishing to unwrap a gauze bandage from around her head, indicating she'd been gagged. It was too quick to tell if there was an actual "gag" shot.

Later in the plot, Liz helped Sam escape the hospital to a safe house apartment. There were two scenes in the coming attractions which give hope Liz may get the treatment.
The first scene shows Jason (at the safe house) pulling a bug out of Liz's pocket (Rick had planted it whe nhe handgagged her).
The second scene shows Rick & the cops breaking into the apartment. If we're lucky, they will find Liz tied up inside. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Rebecca Herbst is high on my wish list. Like a fine wine, she gets better with age. And she's not even 30 yet.

And remember this one, one of my favorites:

"Don't live in hope, my dear. There is no one to rescue you."

That Adolfo Celi...His "Thunderball" villain was what Gert Frobe's "Goldfinger" would have been if he'd just tried to bisect Honor Blackman with that laser instead of...oops, I think we're getting off-topic here.

Not to spoil anyone's weekend...
...but since no one here's mentioned it yet, Jack Palance passed away today at the age of 87.

Just out of curiosity I ran his name through the database and came up with eight hits. Anyone who helped put at least that many scenes over there definitely deserves having a glass tipped for him, in my book.

What is your favorite Nicole Kidman film? (MSNBC.com Live vote)
IMO, "Birthday Girl" deserves more votes than it has received thus far.

A class act like Jack Palance deserves to have a few glasses tipped no matter how many "hits" he has on this database. I'm sure in Hollywood tonight many glasses are being filled, tipped, and refilled..

God bless.

Nothing in The Return, despite some slight plot potential. Short film, but some good scares.

Thanx Brian, while I appreciate the efforts of all who post urls, it still irks me to have to ccp a multiline addy solely because the poster put it in the body of the post instead of the homepage link.

The Soup
Tonight in the first few minutes of 'The Soup' on E there is an exorcism scene with a woman chained to a bed. No idea where its from--presumably something that was on tv in the last week?

Just did a quick scan. Didn't see anything new. Just some flashbacks to last week's scenes at the very beginning and about 15 min in.
