Even when she's played as a feminist Xena-clone, > the Sheriff *still* gets his slimy hands on her... > eventually. Speaking of Robin Hood, does anyone have a copy of the scene from "The New Adventures of Robin Hood" with Barbara Griffin? I used to have it pre-hard drive crash and it was incredible. A delicious damsel. Good close-ups. Thick cleave. Really nice. Here's the database listing: Record number: 1363 Title: The New Adventures of Robin Hood (1997) Medium: TV Series Actress: Judy Green, Barbara Griffin Description: Episode: "The Legion" (2.2) Judy Green plays the mistress of Prince John. Robin binds her and gags her with a loose cleave-gag and sticks her in a cupboard while he robs the Prince. Not an impressive scene; the actress doesn't emote and the camera doesn't move. Later in the episode, the radiant Barbara Griffin (playing Marian) is kidnapped by evil gods (can you say running out of plot ideas, boys and girls) and used as bait to lure Robin into a trap. Of course, the plot fails, but Robin has to battle the bad guys in a lengthy scene, while Marian struggles furiously, before he can rescue her. The lovely Marian is tightly cleave-gagged with a thick black cloth and her wrists are bound behind a column of the castle. Her ankles are not bound, but her short skirt shows her long-forever legs to good account. Nice boots, too. A wonderful scene! It's the second scene, obviously. I don't think I've ever seen the first. |

Thursday October 05 10:11:02 2006 Drawing Blood |
There've been a couple of pointers on this forum to clips from "Drawing Blood," (and it's also up on Major John's site) involving a DiD bound on her back on a bed and mostly tape-gagged. Although Brian's db doesn't say so, the full title of this film is:
"Sergio Lapel's Drawing Blood" (Lapel is the director, I think). But here's the problem. Brian's db attributes the actress as "Erin Smith." But the IMdB doesn't list an Erin Smith, only an "Eric Smith," playing the character "Dee." From his other credits, this would seem to be a male actor. So the DiD is someone else--unless the attribution on IMdB is incorrect and Brian's is correct. Can anyone solve this for us and ID the actress? Thanks, Dannysuling |

The Young Rascals vamping on their hit "Slow Down." DiD is unidentified. Could have been one of the Hullabaloo dancers...anyone know? And I gotta confess. I remember seeing this first-run on TV in 1966. (God I'm old!....) But at that point I was in university, and recognized that this was network TV's way of co-opting rock 'n' roll and the emerging folk-rock stream and making it palatable for adults. "Cutsie-ing" everything. So we all watched that show for a good laugh, and for getting a chance to what the stars looked like. After the show, it was back to making the revolution! |

Thursday October 05 13:17:35 2006 Funeral is on Mundy (It Takes a Thief) |
I've been appreciating this fantastic clip thanks to Raffish's posting it on his pay site.
It has so many excellent features, it's hard to know where to begin: a hot babe (Julie Newmar) at the peak of her powers, dressed nicely, hogtied in bed. But so much more: A great mix of emotions from the damsel: defiance, fear, submission, etc. onscreen tying. Marching. A mixture of rough talk and affection from the binder (good guy Robert Wagner, who also managed to hogtie and gag another damsel on It Takes a Thief--what the hell was up with that?). Onscreen gagging, tying the knot in her mouth (Good closeups here--in general, good camera work throughout the scene--compare to the static midrange shot in Magic Fire). Throwing her on the bed, and flipping her over. An unusual tie (around the neck hogtie). Struggling (although probably if she were really tied the way she supposedly was, she'd be choking herself). Finally, the entire scene is foreplay, since at the end of the episode its implied that Wagner is sleeping with Newmar. Genius. |

Thursday October 05 14:21:31 2006 "Charlie's Angels" on I |
First scene last night on I Network with Farrah tied up in the military episode was cut to pieces. I think they trimmed 50 percent of the scene, so if you're updating your files be prepared for some bad editing.
The next scene is tonight, Kate Jackson blindfold and tie-up. |

This is particularly the case with AOL, Hotmail, and Yahoo. As it says in the instructions, adding anonymous@hermes.pwebtech.com to your safe list can help. 2. Reports are that Vanished will be moved to Friday nights at 8/7c after the baseball break. This is considered bad news, as shows banished to this slot by Fox frequently only run a couple of times. Hopefully they'll stick with this one. No word as to whether they'll order a quick wrap-up to the storyline or anything.

Lotta requests this week, so if you don't like 'em, blame that guy, and that other guy over there. (Yeah, the one twirling his moustache.)
Speaking of requests, I'm always happy to accept them. Bear in mind that I'm the Decider (TM Dubya) and reserve the right to turn down requests if they have too much competition, if I've already included them in a recent guest update, or if I just don't think they're noteworthy enough to merit a slot. But more often than not, you'll get lucky. |

Both Scarlett Johansson and (IIRC) Rebecca Hall play magicians' assistants (well, more than that, actually). At this point, we know at least one of them is tied wrists and ankles and hoisted up over the stage; which one (and whether it might be both) was still "up in the air" (so to speak) last time I checked. |
