Sure it Eva Longoria? Same type of scene two seasons ago with Sharon Lawrence, cuffed and carried. Although tough to get the two mixed up. Reruns airing on Lifetime.

Yup. My daughter watches it, and I happened to catch the preview at the end of last week's episode. I assumed enough people had their eye on that show that I never bothered to post an alert-- sorry!

Sounds great. Longoria's character has quite a mouth, so maybe the cops will gag her, or the judge in a courtroom scene. "Officer, please tape the mouth of Defendant Gabrielle Solis."

Thoroughly Modern Millie-- the musical
Since "Millie" has recently been released for amateur production, chances are good that a lot of folks here will have a production near them soon. And, while someone here who saw the show on Broadway said there was no bondage, I was reading the script today, and there actually is a stage direction for a brief bit.

At the top of Act 2, Scene 8, the kidnapper who has fallen in love with one of the girls he helped to abduct is shown wheeling a laundry basket. The stage directions call for him to open the top, and the girl in question to pop her head up, "with her hands tied behind her back, and her mouth gagged."

The next stage direction calls for him to remove her gag and untie her, so it would certainly be a brief scene (and it would be easy to imagine it being eliminated altogether and just having her "stashed" in the basket).

While there are plenty of references to white slavery in the show, most of it is to be accomplished by means of drugs and such, and we actually never seen an abduction take place. No reference is made to tying up the captives.

There is one scene later in Act 2 where an older woman, who's also been kidnapped, is similarly carrying on a conversation from inside a laundry cart, but there is no indication of any restraint (though a director could easily add some).

So, probably not worth making a trip for the bondage ("Urinetown" this ain't), but if you get dragged to see it, stay awake after intermission.

Way cool. Looks good.
Found this description on a fan site:
"Lois writes an article for the Inquisitor about the failings of a company called Safetec. A Safetec security officer named Milo furiously hires a thug to kidnap and interrogate her."

If you have more.
A brief description of what is going on in the scene so we
can compile a database entry would be great.
No spreken zie Deutsch.
Thanks for the info you provided, don't know much about foreign tv outside of what gets discussed here.

Are her hands behind or in front? It's a real buzz kill for me if they are not behind. Cuff scenes don't really score highly for me anyway. A gag would cure that defect I can tell you....

Funny Games
In todays Newsday there is a picture of Naomi Watts in the new Funny Games movie with a wraparound tapegag. Looks like this will be a definate winner.

This being an international forum, surely everything discussed is foreign to a large part of the readership.

In the clip, they're in front, no gag. Given that it's a police arrest, I'm not expecting either of those to change in the full version of the scene.

Got it in New York Newsday...the Our Town section page !46 has a black and white photo of the director and Naomi Watts. She's wrap around tape gagged much like the woman in the original was at the end of the movie...

Oh, man...oh, man!!! This movie is gonna be SOOO good!!!

And it will be much better because I found the woman in the original to not be very attractive. So with Naomi Watts this scene should definately be better.

The American version is going to be a shot-by-shot remake? That would be ethically complex for Hollywood. Wouldn't the bad guys have to at least get hit by a train at the end? The American film industry requires blatant moralizing.

There's definitely a story online on the site today--here's a link to it. Sadly, no photo on the site. Can anyone up in NY pick up a copy of Newsday and confirm?

DOA - Good 'Til The DVD
Every now and then, rather than the usual bullshit comments, I like to make myself useful.

Gentlemen. Immediately after hearing that Devon Aoki had a scene in the "upcoming" (it's already been released in Western Europe, Australia), I made it my personal mission to get caps, or better yet, the damned scene.

So, here it is. Courtesy of some Australian bootlegger, a relatively low-quality, yet sufficient clip to tide us over until a proper DVD release comes out and the High Def shit rolls in. My gift to you, enjoy.

NOTE: This is simply a splicing from the movie file. Very crude. If it doesn't work, let me know so I can refine it.

Sorry, mates. This one should do it, plus I edited out the bleed-over at the beginning of the clip from a previous scene in the film.

Here's a link to what appears to be a pic from the filming in Long Island albeit it is fairly small. Looks like she is wearing a raincoat.

Gee - You'll hear no complaining about that from me.
The original had quite a bit of unusually realistic
bondage, in multiple scenes. Now they're fixing the only
problem: a rather unattractive actress.

West coast alert : Close to Home
The very begining may have something. I just missed it but they show a picture of a woman with a white cleeve gag. I believe i missed the part where they showed the actual crime.

The woman was shown wrist and ankles bound to a chair with duct tape and thick white cleave-gag in the first 5 minutes of the episode. Kind of dimly lit, but not a bad little scene. As expected with this show, she meets an untimely end.

The thing that always seems odd to me is when a DiD is bound with duct tape, but not gagged with it.
