It's a season-long show about one case, > a couple whose son has been grabbed. There's actually a scene during the opening credits of the pilot with a kidnapped girl, but it's blinkier than blinky. You catch just a glimpse of a cable tie around her wrists (hands behind) as she's rescued. I suppose I should write a DB entry and/or alert, but I just don't have the heart for the moment. I'm planning to watch this show anyway, because the pilot is impressively byzantine and moves like a very well-improvised explosive device, so a scene or two for Us (possibly in the form of a flashback) would just be tasty, tasty gravy. Curious parties can find the pilot now on Netflix, on the very same promo DVD as the pilot for that new Aaron Sorkin show that everyone seems to be talking about. And no, I do not work for NBC, though between The Office and these two pilots, there is at least a discomfiting possibility of my becoming their bitch. |

Saturday September 16 07:52:04 2006 Wire In The Blood |
The article below referred to the new series of Wire In The Blood which starts this coming Wednesday on UK television. The interview was in a tv magazine some time ago, and the actress talks about her role in the series.
Don't be fooled by the nurse's outfit, as this is for the part she plays in another UK drama set in the 60's. |

You'd be a great bitch for them to have, what with your good grammar and everything. I have to love the correct use of "my" where many people would incorrectly put "me". Can you sing "bong, bong, bong"? |

Then again, I haven't seen her since she starred in Lethal Weapon 2 which was 17 years ago. She still looks good, but hardly the waifish blonde I remember from my youth. |

Saturday September 16 11:52:46 2006 Close to Home |
Looks like it'll be a mother and two daughters kidnapped, tied up and tape-gagged next week. The mom was shown on a bed with bare feet tied with tape and tape-gagged. Two daughters shown in a room tape-gagged. 9 p.m. on CBS.
Can something happen on "Ghost Whisperer" for a 3-for-3 night next week? |

Saturday September 16 15:18:38 2006 Re: Wire In The Blood |
Time warner cable has given subscribers several on demand channels including BBC Amercia on demand. I only have up to the 3 episode of the show right now but in the third episode toward the end there is a scene with a woman tied to a tree and tape gagged. Only problem with the scene is most of the time when they show her it's in very quick shots. |

Perfectly solid scene IMHO -- the shots are a bit quick, yes, but there's still enough good stuff for 45 seconds or so of edited footage. There's also a second, blonde damsel, similarly tied but with a blindfold instead of a gag, who is briefly seen on a video monitor. |

Saturday September 16 17:10:20 2006 Rule of Rose interactive bondage scene |
For what it's worth, the video game Rule of Rose (for PS2) was released today.
It contains an interactive bondage scene - two, in fact. The main character, Jennifer, a 19 year old woman, is tied up. Not once, but twice. While tied, you can push the control stick in different directions to wiggle different ways, and push different buttons to cry out for help in different ways. She is ungagged, but a bondage scene where you actually play the role of the bondagette is a very original idea. |

I always wanted to see her get the full treatment. I would like to have seen it a bit earlier, but darn if she doesn't still look pretty good for age. As you will note, the clips are streamed. However, through the magic of sheer desire (and the teachings of Doug Henning), I have obtained the clips on my hard drive. Perhaps I will post them later. Right now, I'm out the door on nephew soccer business. |

CBS says they will be homicide victims. Nothing f--ks up a good bondage scene worse than knowing the characters are gonna get snuffed. |

"Nothing f--ks up a good bondage scene worse
than knowing the characters are gonna get snuffed." Stop the tape before that happens and pretend that they were just actresses in a TV show. |

Saturday September 16 23:06:20 2006 September is bondage month in fashion mags, too |
Mrs. Powers recently started subscriptions to Vogue and W. In the September issue of W, there's an ad spread of models in bondage. It's not complete bondage, but one of the models' legs are both wrapped and frapped. And there's a fashion spread in the September issue of Vogue featuring a Japanese designer who puts her models in leather bondage hoods. And we mean hoods here, no mouth openings.
What with all the bondage on TV, we can only say, "Niiiiice." |
