I believe there was a rumor of Madonna wanting to do a "bondage inspired show" with Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson for the MTV Movie awards. Not the Video Music Awards. They're all just rumors, nothing's been confirmed because the next MTV Movie Awards don't air until June 2007

I'm sure many share you view, including me, and many don't. I agree with everything you said. I don't mind the standard duct tape. The Kellie Martin and Kelly Monaco scenes were terrific because both damsels let the camera do the work.

In the "Blade" scenes, the actress gagged for the long period was do "distressed" it wasn't a good scene in my opinion. I also don't care for the chains, dungeon type of setting. Some people like that since it adds realism, but I'll take the weak scenes with the hot actresses any day.

Passions Scene
Well, I screwed up (sort of). I was waiting for a gent to send me the clip and had gotten impatient. I went ahead and "acquired" the clip of the show on my own. What I didn't realize was that I must have not gotten everything. The poster, whose name is Bubsdady, just sent me his clip. It has the whole beginning that I did not have.

As such, I have replaced the zip file I had up of my clip, with this new and full version. Many thanks to Bubsdady for sending it to me and sharing with us. Sorry about the faux pa.

Man, this is not my night. Turns out that the clip sent to me by our aforementioned friend, does not have the scenes that my clip had. Therefore, I am zipping both clips and replacing the zip file right now. If you are having trouble downloading it, that's because it's still uploading. Sorry yet again for the confusion, which seems to be growing more every moment. Hehe.

In a few minutes, you can go and download the clip from my prior post. If you already grabbed it earlier, you might want to download it again, as it now contains two files.

Hey, Wavy, for those of us not on the occasionally-referred-to "send around" list, is there any way that you could make this clip public to other Forum readers and posters? E.g. via Rapidshare or on your own site or something?

It's been a bit frustrating (um...maybe titillating is too strong a word...) reading all the posts concerning this program, which for many reasons I'm unable to watch. Anyone out there willing to be generous?

I apologize if this question is not allowed. Does anyone know the name of the clip on YouTube entitled "Japanese Superherione Bound And Gagged"? Also, is it available on DVD, etc? Thanks for your time. Everyone have a nice Labor Day weekend.

You make a good point. I would say the best DiD scenes kinda died out when all the syndicated adventure programs like "Lost World" and "Xena" and "Hercules" and "Sheena" and "Black Scorpion" and ... well, there were a LOT of them, went off the air in what I not-so-fondly call the "DiD Ragnarok." Especially Lost World with the hottie in a skimpy leather bikini getting bound and gagged seemingly every other episode.

That said, the bondage tends to be more imaginative lately.
I'd just as soon the violence and death that is the implied in most DiD situations were not actually being shown in conjunction with the bondage, and as Van has pointed out, that would be durned easy to do.

Still, Spike seems to finally be producing the kind of guy stuff that we guys tend to like. I'd hoped series like "Blade" would show up on Spike, since it's presumably a channel that appeals to guy interests, and we do like our DiDs. Well, some of us more than others. Maybe they'll do some straight-up adventure stuff. Guys like that, too.

Chaser's War on Everything
Australian comedy show "Chaser's War on Everything" just had a skit where two models (Katie Fischer and Annaleisle BrackenWHATEVER - Bad Spelling!!) appeared on stage, hands tied behind their backs, where they had to proceed to eat cake along the catwalk. Not the best scene ever but I nice little surprise. You can view it at the link (click play and then select the clip "Famous Face Off Models"). For fellow Aussies out there who have digital television the show will be repeated at 9:30pm tomorrow (Saturday) night on ABC2.

You can also download a full version of this episode off the chaser site at http://www.abc.net.au/tv/chaser/war/vodcast/ (down the bottom of the page where it says "If vodcasting isn't your thing, just download the latest episode directly...". It still has last weeks episode there (tonights episode will say 01/09/06). Dunno if its higher quality than the small clip - I haven't downloaded it myself!

Rex, I'd like to know that as well. I can't seem to find any mention of the show on the online TV Guide site I use. Can someone who knows all the particulars please post an alert? If it's 12:30 AM, then I imagine it's very late on the night of the 3rd, which is ACTUALLY very early on the 4th!

Or course if it's 12:30 PM on the 4th, that's pretty self-explanatory.

JP, I just looked on Yahoo TV & couldn't find any mention of an airing of Blade the Series showing on Sept. 4. I do know the channel is Spike (someone asked that earlier) but, like you, I couldn't find any mention of it.
Is the original poster of the repeat alert SURE it's gonna repeat that day? I looked & there is no alert for it on the Alerts page.

Labour Day weekend antics @Seriesplus.com!

Just caught abit of a beaut B&G'd scene on Series+ channel,
which figure local film "Vendus"? - with Véronique Bannon & Brigitte Paquette
Seriesplus.com grille has gap for this timeslot,
and running through noticed a similar omitted gap for tomorrow around 5pm.
When they air a movie, they normally re-air it. So this perhaps what will be airing in that 2hr gap?

There a way to fool the better Yank airscheds by putting our postal codes in at the start. Though like Brian's, they go really slow/time out until after midnight.
Going to plug away at it,
but if anyone can bring it up and match the slots as being same film,
let me know for a decent VHS machine alerts on that other forum. Best keep an eye on it.

Btw: For Yanks like that Kevin W guy.
figure caught enough for a fair passaround clip incase there a different film airing in tomorrow's air-sched gap.
Work on that too

West Coast Alert: Passions handgag

An attractive brunette is handgagged in an alley at the end of Friday's episode of Passions. Very nice handgag, though I wasn't quick enough to hit the record button to catch all of it. The good thing is it should continue right at the start of Monday's episode.

I couldn't agree with you more. There's also another thing: they're young. I understand that it's VERY hard, in the sense that it's impossible, to get a job writing for TV if you are over 30. TV producers want to capture the young demographic, therefore they hire young writers hoping they'll do the trick. To a certain extent, I think this is a fairly good idea. I mean, we might STILL be getting our yucks from Soupy Sales and Shecky Greene and all those other Borscht Belt guys who seemed to be the only people writing comedy for TV from 1950 to 1975, if TV hadn't gone for the youth market.

That said, it would be nice if there were at least 1 or 2 older writers working for most shows to tell the kids when they're being clueless and imitative, because I think the problem for a lot of the younger writers is that they don't KNOW they are being clueless and imitative. At one time, it was believed you weren't ready to write anything really good until you hit your 40s -- until you had lived long enough to, like, KNOW things. Of course, it's demonstrably true that many people live until their 90s without actually knowing anything.

It is public my friend. Look back a few posts to my original one. There is a link there to a zip file which is posted directly from my server. Anyone can download it. I do not have secret lists that I send around. When I decide to share, I share here and with everybody, no strings attached.

Replay on SpikeTV at 1:30am on Sept. 4 (eastern time zone). Schedules on tv.yahoo.com run from 6am to 6am. So to find airing, I had to go to Sept 3 listing to find airing.

Pat, you are making some big assumptions here. First of all, you are assuming that older writers know what is clueless and imitative. Perhaps these older writers were just as clueless and imitative when they were young as the younger ones supposedly are now. So now they are just older writers who are still clueless and imitative. Now, if you are just talking about older writers who are brilliant and can still provide great ideas that will make everyone money, those guys usually don't have trouble finding work despite their age.

You are also assuming is that imitative is by defintion bad. Not necessarly the case. Raiders of the Lost Arc was certainly imitative of 1940's and 1950's serials, but many people thought Raiders was a great movie.

I find it interesting that some people think there are a bunch of easy answers when it comes to making good TV shows. If there were, you'd see better TV shows. TV producers want to put out a good show because it's their job, and they take pride in it - just as anyone else takes pride in a job that they may have.

Just show a preview of a movie where a guy jumps from a builing to a helicopter. Looks like a lady is tied at the wrists and hanging from underneath the copter. Movie states the hero has to go throught their best assassins, so unsure how this ties to the scene near end of the preview.

You are CORRECT, sir.
I just came back from the official site.
There are no stills fro mthe movie itself. There are a lot of behind the scenes production stills. There is one long range shot of LaMorte in full treatment plus one shot where she is being made up and has the gag hanging on her neck.
In addition, the site also features artist sketches made during the planning stage. I didn't look through these yet, but imagine there would be some sketches of her character shown.

Most importantly, you can view and download the film from the site. There are several format to choose from; all are very large files.
I've put a direct link to the "watch the movie" page in the homepage.

Passions decided a while back to take on a new style. Instead of drawn-out serious plots, the show goes with quick, humorous schtick. There is still some violence, but for the most part, the show aims for the people who don't want to watch a show day after day, who just want some quick entertainment.

Where does this fit in with our agenda? We've seen it lately: lots of light-hearted DiD stuff.

I really have to work to watch the whole hour of this show. I'm almost sorry when there is a DiD scene on Passions because it means watching the show again.
