From reading the recaps, looks like this is the new Lucy, played by Spencer Grammer and formerly played by Peyton List.

No, he states it "according to his sources." Nobody asked.

and then a bunch of people assume it's Lysette

How many? Who?

I'd say a jobbing actress, though she was very beautiful in her heyday. Latest appearances were in "The Bill", and a pitiful revival of the dire soap "Crossroads", which IMDB doesn't even bother to mention. It associates Ms Anthony's name with the original soap, in which she may have appeared as it ran until 1988.

Actually, The IMDb also omits an entire documentary series in which she starred. I forget the title, but I think it was an Open University production from the 1980s, presumably before LA went to the US. It was a history of fashion, with a vignette scene for every decade or major change of style. A couple of guys and a couple of ladies were seen dressing, from underwear outwards, in each period's style. Lysette was one of the girls. I remember noticing her because I'd just been disappointed in her failure to get the treatment in "Campion" as so lovingly described in the book.
With a whole TV series missing, it wouldn't surprise me if a few rock vids were, too.

Anyway, I screen capped frames of both the dam villainess and the damsel in distress, and compared them with pics of Ms Anthony. The former has exactly the same distinctive eyebrows, hairline and ratio of upper to lower lip depth as Lysette Anthony. The "ski jump" nasal profile is also the same.

The lady tied up is clearly visible only in a few frames, from an unhelpful angle. Her eyebrows are not completely visible, though they do resemble Lysette's a little. The nose, though, is much straighter, and the mouth a little lower. I'd say probably not LA.

There are two girls, three if you include the nurse.

Until someone puts forward a better suggestion, I'd say from my own photographic researches that the villainess on the dam is probably Lysette, and the DiD probably isn't.

Would any online gamers here...
...care to weigh in on a question posed by a news story I came across yesterday?

Now at first blush the story's subject might seem off-topic, but may I beg the court's indulgence, Your Honor, for a moment to establish its relevance? While the story's main theme is the phenomenon of players adopting the personas of characters of the opposite sex, mainly male gamers playing under female avatars, what piqued my interest was this quote from a psychologist who surveyed a group of male players and found one of the principal reasons they did this was "visual stimulation." The story quotes her directly: "They'd rather look at a character that looks like Lara Croft than a character that looks like Rambo,"

Which makes me wonder whether Any of Us who are part of that parallel world either have resorted or would resort to such a tactic to inject a little of what we favor into a game. You know, kind of like the premise of the movie "Demonlover," only instead of getting to decide what happens to a tied-up Connie Nielsen, you create a virtual Connie you can let get tied up and then have the fun of figuring out how-or whether-to get her out of it. In fact, for Those of Us over there who have significant others, it could be a group effort-Clark Kent pulling off his glasses and stripping to his cape and tights to fly to the rescue of his squirming, mmphing, well-gagged and securely chair-tied Lois Lane. What could be more romantic?

I've got to admit I'm not familiar with "City of Heroes," the game referred to in the story, so I don't know if such a scenario is even plausible. Are there any other online games where it would be?

You can read the story itself at the link below.

In City of Heroes /City of Villains, your character can be paralyzed, vaugely held by energy bands, or in some scenarios wake up locked in a room if you are defeated (you then have to spend time attacking the door to get out).

However, there is no "bondage" as we would be interested in... the interactivity just are not at that level yet.

However you can design some pretty kinky costumes for female characters with covered mouths, chains, and blindfolds.

Hope this helps.

Also, I agree that DEMONLOVER (The uncut version) is an underrated, very interesting film... sort of an updated VIDEODROME for the anime / MMO generation.

Actresses Doing Voice-over Work
I saw the animated movie "Hoodwinked" and Anne Hathaway gave a couple quick grunts when the character she was doing voice-over for was bound and gagged. Which actresses do you think have done good voice-over emoting in similar situations?

Another interesting speculation would be what non-animated DiD scenes are suspected as including voice-over work?

Especially in the pre-digital era, if an issue such as the sound quality of a location being discovered later to have come out as sub-par, it would've been more efficient for the actors do voice-overs in a studio than to re-shoot the scene.

Record number: 1840

Title: Invasion of Privacy (1996)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Naomi Campbell

Description: Near the end, a mentally disturbed man kidnaps Campbell's character and spirits her away to an old hospital. She's shown spreadeagled on a hospital bed with leather cuffs and gagged with a leather strap while the baddie menaces her with some rather wicked looking surgical instruments as the girlfriend watches.

According to one newpaper gossip column Campbell got a fit of the giggles while filming this scene and her gagged protests had to be redubbed after.

I remember a newspaper gossip column stating that

Check out the new zombie killing spree game for 360 Dead Rising. Main plot line involves rescuing survivors. Some of them are tiedup.
