Laura Prepon
I have downloaded a ripped DVD copy of that Karla Homolka movie. There is a scene with Laura Prepon. However, I find it very explicit and somewhat inappropraite. In the scene she is tied and gagged because the actor playing Paul Beranardo is having anal sex with her. I rememeber someone saying that it was consensual, but to me it doesnt seem that way. Personally I don't enjoy watching it considering it's based on a true and very horrible story. Kind of get it the way of my morals. hahaha

Angela's Eyes
Nothing last night on Angela's Eyes but the previews for next week show a possibility of a precarious situation. She's going good old undercover and the previews show turn and look startled as if she was just found out and is about to be captured (I wish). we'll see if anything transpires.
Thanks So Much to our "Day Ahead" buds for the Y&R alerts.

Vanished
I was watching "the Simpsons" last night and during the commercials they had an ad for that new FOX show "Vanished", about a senator's kidnapped wife. Anyway, at the tail end of the commercial, they showed a black haired woman (I think the aforementioned wife) being led down a tunnel, her hands tied in front, and gagged with duct tape. I just thought I'd share this with everyone.

Who is "the real Karla" as opposed to Laura Prepon, the actress? Was the photo above of Laura Prepon or "Karla?"

3 tape gags?
This is something that got raised on a different forum but can anyone think of an actress thats been gagged with three different types of tape. Kate Jackson has (yellow in thunder and lightning, white in the scarecrow and mrs king and brown in Charlies Angels)

I don't know if anyone else has achieved this. Teri Hatcher and Elisha Cuthbert have been gagged with silver and grey but no other types. Anyone think of anyone who's been missed with 3 types?
Monday August 07 12:55:58 2006
Amantes
Today seconds of the gag but a good view of it being taken out of her mouth. The blindfold has been removed and the gag is hanging around her neck. She is still bound but unconscious from chloroform. An evil woman is now there and she has harassed and slapped her.

I think Kate may have the honor in this one all to herself. Almost impossible to be gagged with 3 different colors of tape. Donna Mills (white tape, duct tape) among many with 2 colors of tape-gags.

Effectiveness of Tape Gags
In response to LV's comment yesterday about tape gags not being as effective in preventing speech like cleaves, I don't know what kind of tape your talking about, but the roll of grecy duct tape that I have would be quite sufficent in covering the whole mouth, and with the use of let's say 3 or 4 long strips placed directly over the mouth and extending from ear to ear or by wrapping it around a damsel's head 4 or 5 times, I'm fairly confident she'd have a tough time saying anything. To make sure you could stuff her mouth with something beforehand and then tape it in. Am I the minority in this opinion. That's fine if I am. I was just intrigued by the posting is all.

This is exactly the type of treatment that the really good riggers use in their professional videos and pics.

But how often have you seen even a wrap around tape gag in a mainstream movie/tv show (Victoria Principal's secene in "Blind Witness' is the best mainstream, and just about the only, example} ??

Most mainstream tape gags are a small piece that barely covers the mouth, but somehow miraclously render the tapee completely unable to utter any type of sound !!!!!!!!!!!

Not as tight as Victoria Principal, but at least a good try.

Jessica Biel in "Ulee's Gold"
Martika in "Wiseguy"
Ivana Milecevic in "Crazy Six"

All three gagged tightly with wraparound duct-tape gags.

I agree with you one that one. The overly large/packed gags, effective as they may be, simply don't do it for me at all. I like them to be medium to thin, and tight-looking.

A few examples of what, in my mind, were some of the greatest cleaves ever:

-Diane Keaton in "Sleeper" (my all time favorite....I love how she keeps her lips taught around it while tossing her head around.)

-Karen Allen in "Raiders of the Lost Ark"

-Catherine Oxenberg in "Lair of the White Worm"

Well, that just blows....my prediction that Sharon would be freed by today. Oh, well, not the first time one of my predictions has been wrong...or the last, I'm sure.

BONES Alert for Tomorrow! (Tuesday the 8th)
Everybody (in the US) do me a favor & check your local TV sked. *Mine* claims my local FOX affiliate will be broadcasting the BONES episode with the did-scene (Brian's dBase #11921) TOMORROW, August the 8th. I tried confirming this at http://www.fox.com *&* at http://www.tvguide.com, but they're information-free about exactly *which* episode is "official". So... what does *your* local listing say?

Thanks! That's *my* newspaper listing & *your* tvguide.com. I'll post a VCR Alert. (I don't know why I couldn't get tvguide.com to tell *me* which episode was scheduled. Maybe my cookies are corrupted.) :-)

At what time will this episode air? At what time during the episode is the damsel bound and gagged by the dastardly villain?

Hadji, ol' friend, ol' pal, why do you think I gave you the dBase #? :-)
-------

Record number: 11921

Title: Bones
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Emily Deschanel

Description: Episode: "Two Bodies in the Lab" (1.15)

36 minutes in, she is taken to an abandoned warehouse with her wrists tied behind her back. There is a fight scene that lasts about a minute before she gets pistolwhipped and knocked out.

When she regains consciousness ("0:38 in), you see her tied to a chair, wrists overhead to a hook. Cleave gagged with a black cloth (onscreen).

The promo still for this scene shows her ankles tied to the chair legs, but you don't see this in the video.

The scene is interrupted a few times by the resucers going through the warehouse looking for them, but there is still about a minute and a half of screen time.

Times without commercials.

Favoured the "Ekis" one. Way the guy pressed onto her mouth during the wrap-arounds pretty cool.

Don't you reply to these type of posts but there have been a lot more wrap around tape gags in the last few years (my favorite)Leslie Hope in Level 9. Luz Elena Gonzalez (my all time favorite wrap tape gag scene] in Amour Del Odio; Sabine Moussir in La Madrasta and how can anyone forget Donna Mills in Play Misty (my second all time favorite).
